GH – Evil Alcazar’s Room
Alcazar doesn’t want to answer the phone but Skye tells him he has to. He answers it and assures his employers that everything is under control. Once he’s off the phone, he says that this is all a nightmare. Skye doesn’t want to be the voice of doom, but they’re trapped. Alcazar doesn’t understand how he can function when he’s not even sure what the hell is going on. Skye tells him to follow her lead. Alcazar knows he never made her aware of the inner workings of his business so bluffing’s one thing but what she’s proposing is dangerous. Skye says it has to work for their sakes. She says that CJC will either get caught or get away. She’s not sure she really knows what she wants to happen. On one hand, she wants CJC caught so he’ll get punished for what he’s done to their family. On the other hand, if he gets away, there’s a chance they’d be safe from Alcazar’s employers. Alcazar points out that in order for CJC to get away, the hostages will have to die.

Metro Court
Room #1: Carly figures out the code is SOPHIE and it will get them all out of there. Sonny says it’ll get at least one of them out. Carly tells him to tell her the plan before CJC comes back. He says he’ll give CJC the code in exchange for Carly’s release. Carly says she knows the code too so she could use it just like Sonny will. CJC comes in and tells them they’re missing all the fun. Sonny says he knows the code and he’ll give it to CJC if he releases Carly. CJC wonders if Carly knows the code as well. She lies and says no. Sonny says the cops will storm in once the vault opens. CJC thinks, then, that it’s fortunate that the vault will be opening sooner than the cops expect.

In the vault, Maxie has given up fanning herself. 3 tells her the vault is set to open in 1 1/2 hours. She asks if he’s given any more thought to her plan. He says that it could work except for the part where they make a run for it. She asks if he’s got a better idea. He’s not going to be able to just walk out of there. The cops will shot their way in when the vault opens. He has 2 choices: surrender or die. 3 says that she’s the one who’s in danger. CJC will grab the case, blow the lobby and kill the hostages. Maxie asks if he would help CJC do that. 3 doesn’t answer. Maxie says he needs to see the hostages as people, the way he sees her. 3 says it wasn’t supposed to happen like this. It was supposed to be a simple in-and-out operation. Maxie wonders how he thought it was supposed to be. His boss gave him a mask and a gun and told him not to let anyone leave. 3 says there weren’t supposed to be any flesh and blood people involved.

In the lobby, 4 pulls a gun on Fr. Ruiz. CJC says he decides who lives or dies. Sam yells at Fr. Ruiz for being just like his brother. I can’t figure out if Sam really is annoyed at Fr. Ruiz for murdering a gunman or if she’s just trying to deflect attention off “5″ because I’m pretty sure a few hours ago, she wanted Fr. Ruiz to help her fight against the gunmen when she had the knife. 6 shoots Fr. Ruiz twice. Wait, why does 6 get to shoot Fr. Ruiz without recrimination from CJC but when 4 was going to do it, CJC stopped him? Sam automatically runs towards “5″ but CJC stops her.

Outside, the cops hear the shots. Luke argues with Ric that the gunmen are getting trigger happy and there’s no time to wait for the vault. Ric says that CJC’s going to need live hostages. Lucky tells him to calm down. Ric wants Cruz to arrest Luke.

Patrick tells Mac to set up a triage center. Mac says they have paramedics standing by. Patrick says that a lot of people are going to need medical attention. Mac says he’ll call GH and have them send over people.

Back in the lobby, CJC tells 4 and 8 to dump 7’s body in the supply closet. He goes over to answer the ringing phone and tells Ric that he doesn’t want to talk and hangs up. Emily starts to run over to check on Fr. Ruiz but CJC stops her. He tells Elizabeth to do it. Max offers to help but since he’s wounded already, she doesn’t want to exacerbate his wound so she asks for Sam’s help. Sam is reluctant to do so, fighting against CJC’s efforts to drag her over to him. 6 tells “5″ to shoot to kill next time. Man, these criminals are a bunch of dummies. Early when “5″ made a move towards Fr. Ruiz, 6 told him to stay put. Now she’s telling him not to hesitate? He didn’t hesitate, bitch. You told him to stay put.

At the front desk, CJC checks in on Spinelli and Lulu. Spinelli says the vault will be open in 1/2 hour.

Outside, Luke says Ric can’t arrest him again. Ric tells Cruz to cuff Luke up somewhere he can’t do any harm. Mac sides with Ric this time. He thinks Luke will go off half-cocked and get people killed. Luke yells that Mac feels the same way about Ric but he’s too much of a coward to do anything about it and he doesn’t want Luke there reminding him that he doesn’t have the guts to stand up to Ric. Lucky asks to let his father stay, but Mac says that Luke will convince Lucky to do something stupid. Cruz hauls Luke off to a building near the triage center and handcuffs him to a pipe. He leaves. Epiphany asks him what that’s all about. Cruz tells her and says that she shouldn’t help him. Luke tries to appeal to Epiphany but she doesn’t help him. Patrick comes up and starts barking out orders on how to set up. Epiphany tells him it’s all covered. By who? He just called GH to get this set up. Ford comes up and tells Patrick he’s not the only doctor who thought that there might be a need for a triage center.

Back in the lobby, Emily asks Robin if she needs more vodka for the pain. Robin says she can’t feel anything. Nikolas says they’ve got to come up with a plan.

At the front desk, Spinelli says he’s not sure if he did the right thing by opening the vault early. Good for CJC means bad for the hostages. Lulu pulls out her mother’s ring and puts it on. She tells Spinelli that it makes her feel connected to Laura.

Fr. Ruiz tells Elizabeth not to help him. He needs to pay for his sins and Manny’s. He looks straight at Sam and apologizes. Sam wants to slip away right then but Elizabeth says to wait for Jason’s signal.

CJC pulls Sonny and Carly out of the room and tells everyone in the lobby that their little gathering will be over soon. At 5:30pm, the police will come in because that’s when they think the vault will be open but thanks to Spinelli, the vault will be open early and Sonny will provide him with the code to open the briefcase. If CJC gets what he needs, everyone gets to go home. If not, CJC will stick to his original plan of blowing up the lobby. There’s a better chance of surviving the blast better than a gunshot wound to the head so be good. He grabs Spinelli and Lulu and heads towards the vault.

Outside, Lucky asks Cruz about Luke. Cruz says he’s sorry but that Luke would be a hinderance. Lucky says his priority is to find Elizabeth. Cruz says that when they go in, he’ll grab Lulu.

Alexis asks Ric if there’s any sign of Sam or Alexis. Ric says they heard Nikolas yell something to Luke. He tells her the plan. Alexis says he can’t do that. He’ll get hostages killed. She figures he’d do something like that since he doesn’t like half the people in there anyways. She leans against a cop car. Ric brings her to the triage area to be checked out.

At the triage center, Ford tells Patrick they don’t need him. And as he’s off the clock, he has no reason to be there. Ford tells him to get out. As Patrick’s leaving, Luke tries to get him to uncuff him. Patrick just looks at Luke and walks off.

Ford isn’t happy to see Alexis. He asks how long before he left did she wait to check herself out. 2 minutes. He tells her to stay put. He goes off to handle other stuff. Luke appeals to “Natasha” (her real name) to help him out. Alexis wonders what he did to get cuffed to a pipe. He says he dared to question Ric’s authority.

In the lobby, “5″ gives Sam a black mask and tells her to slip out on his signal.

Nikolas tells Emily that when it all goes down, he’ll pick up Robin and run and Emily should stay close to him.

Outside the vault, CJC wants to know why the vault door isn’t open. Spinelli has to enter a code into the keypad. 8 (or it could be 4. who the hell can tell at this point. I think it’s 8 because he’s a bigger build than 4.) is behind them and sticks his weapon in Lulu’s back. CJC says that both Spinelli and Sonny better be telling the truth or else Lulu dies slowly and painfully. Spinelli enters the code. Inside, 3 and Maxie are discussing whether or not to go with her plan, when they hear the door open. 3 puts on his mask and picks up the case. CJC pushes Spinelli and Lulu inside. He apologizes to 3 for the lockdown and asks for the case. 3 shows him the case and tells him the self destruct is armed. CJC says he has the code to disarm it and to give him the case. 3 looks torn but gives CJC the case.

Outside, Ric goes over the plan with the SWAT Captain: storm the lobby at 5:30pm but cut the power 15 minutes before they go in to make the gunmen think they’re going in earlier. Mac says they’ll toss in tear gas. Lucky worries about Elizabeth and the baby. Mac reminds Lucky that Robin’s compromised immune system is in there too.

Luke wants Alexis to find him something to get him out of the cuffs. She offers to pull out the wig pin. Luke asks who she’s trust to go in and get the hostages out: him or Ric? She starts to pat down her pockets. Ford tells her he didn’t tell her to help people escape. He pulls her back to a gurney. Luke yells at Ford. Epiphany lays into Luke. They are doctors and nurses, not cops. The only contribution anyone wants him to make is to stay chained to the drain pipe and keep his mouth shut. “I can, AND WILL, sedate you!” Ric tells Epiphany that won’t be necessary. He knew Alexis might try to help Luke. Alexis tells Ric that he’d be doing the same thing as Luke if it were Molly in there.

Mac stops Patrick and says that Ford says that Patrick shouldn’t be there. Patrick says he’s not on the clock so his time is own and he’s staying. Mac says that’s what he told Ford. Patrick wants to go in but Mac says that Patrick’s not qualified to go in. Robin needs him out here, not caught in the cross fire. Patrick says there won’t be time to let rescue workers find her in the aftermath. Mac tells Patrick to calm down. He’s already cuffed Luke to a pipe to keep him out of the way. He doesn’t want to do the same thing to Patrick.

In the lobby, CJC, 8 and 3 have brought Maxie, Spinelli and Lulu back out to join the rest of the gang. CJC wants the code. Sonny says he has to let the hostages go. CJC says Sonny can’t just change the demands at the last minute. He says 6 will kill Carly just as easily as she did the priest. Sonny says that CJC takes away his motivation if Carly dies. CJC says they’re at an impasse then, so they go back to the original plan. The codes for Carly’s release.

Jason gives Sam the signal. She slips on the mask and gets out while Sonny gives CJC the code. CJC opens the case. It’s full of microchips. He tells Carly she can go. She refuses. The power goes out. CJC tells 6 to give him the detonator. He tells them all it’s been emotional and is about to blow the place when Jason tackles him. The briefcase and the detonator fly out of his hands.

Okay, at this point, everything goes black and white, which means that I could barely see anything on my tv. Also, a lot of this stuff is intercut with the outside happenings that we’ve already seen at the beginning of the 16 hours.

6 picks up the briefcase. 3 picks up the detonator. CJC screams to push the button while he and Jason fight. Jason knocks him down. 3 starts to do it, but Maxie stops him. 6 grabs for the detonator. The cops shoot in the tear gas. Spinelli and Lulu dive behind the front desk. I think it’s Spinelli and Lulu. I can’t really tell because the screen at this point is black and white and so all I see is blonde hair and a guy in a black cap, which could also be 3 and Maxie but I don’t think Maxie and 3 were that close to the desk.. Nikolas carries Robin out, with Emily right behind him but when he gets outside, Emily’s not behind him. I think Emily gets snagged by a gunmen but I can’t be sure. Sonny and Carly go down behind a couch with Sonny shielding Carly. 3 gets Maxie down behind another couch. Again, not really sure about that.  Jason grabs Elizabeth and carries her into the hallway. CJC grabs the detonator and pushes it.

The lobby explodes.  When it does, you get reaction shots from Luke, Ric, and Alexis.

GH – Alan’s ICU Room
Monica checks on Alan. Edward comes in. They talk a bit about Alan’s surgery and then Edward requests some time alone with Alan. Monica leaves. Edward starts talking to Alan and says that he’ll only tell Alan what he thinks about how his life turned out if Alan wakes up. He tells Alan that he’s proud of the way Alan turned out and how he never turned his back on his family, even though Edward and Tracy gave him ample opportunities to do so. And this starts me crying. I have a feeling that I’ll be crying during Alan scenes until they finally bury him.  Alice comes in to comfort Edward. She says the Qs do love each other, no matter how twisted the family gets. Tracy comes in and asks if she can be alone with Alan. She tries her own way of getting Alan to wake up, which means she tries to bully him into waking up. She tells him that she does care about him. She tells him that if he doesn’t wake up and recover, Monica will kick them all out of the house. Monica comes in to check on Alan again. Tracy tells Monica she wasn’t a very good wife but Alan loves her nonetheless and Monica should do everything to make sure he has something to live for. She leaves. Monica tells Alan that she wasn’t a very good wife to him and that if he dies, it might be her fault. She froze on the operating table and the damage was done. She starts crying that she’s broken his heart, both figuratively and literally, and starts crying. Alan wakes up!!!!!

GH – Evil Al’s Room
Skye is encouraging Alcazar to think about the code when the phone rings. She tells him not to answer it. The phone is a dedicated line to his employers and if he answers it, both their lives could be in danger. Ric agrees with Skye. Skye tells Alcazar to rest and she goes into the hallway to talk to Ric. She asks what he wants. He tells her that Alcazar’s employers will want an update. She wonders what she should tell them. He says it doesn’t matter but something should be told to mollify them or else they won’t hesitate to kill her, Alcazar, and the hostages. Back in the room, Alcazar asks her about the conversation in the hallway. She tells him that Ric was just reminding her of what a crappy situation they’re in and that she should cut bait and run. Alcazar asks her not to leave him; she’s the only person he can trust. The phone rings again. She tells him to answer it, but he’s reluctant to do so. She tells him to answer it and assure the employer that things are on track. He asks what he should say if they ask him questions that he doesn’t know the answer to. She tells him to lie.

GH – 3rd Floor Elevators
Patrick tells Ford that Biff’s surgery is over and Mr. Danza can go back to being a bigot. Ford reminds Patrick that he’s still on call. I see this whole thing coming back to bite Patrick on the ass. Biff will sue Patrick for some reason and Patrick will lose his license or something. And then he’ll find out he is HIV positive and then Robin will die. Because soap writers love to pile on the misery for people.

Metro Court
Outside, Luke tells Lucky that Alan made it through the surgery.

Georgie feels guilty for treating Maxie so horribly.

In the vault, Maxie’s about to touch the briefcase but 3 stops her. He’s not sure what will happen if she touches it. She asks if he’s at all curious about what’s in the case. He says no.

In the lobby, Carly tells Sonny to ask her to marry him again when they both get out of there.

Sam tells Elizabeth that Jason’s by the door. Elizabeth looks over. CJC comes over and asks what’s got the 2 of them so captivated.

Back in the vault, Maxie is hot. She tells 3 that he should thank her for taking off his mask so that he’s a bit cooler. He tells her he’s returning the favor by giving her a fan he found. Seriously? Who stores a feathered fan in a hotel vault? I mean, I could understand if it was jewel encrusted or something, but it wasn’t. Maxie says she’d rather be standing on a beach with a cool breeze coming off the ocean and a margarita in her hand. When this is all over, she’s hopping the first plane to Cancun. She asks 3 what his plans are after this, what with all the money he’s making. He says he won’t be spending it, his girlfriend will. Maxie looks a little dejected but covers by saying that she can’t believe he took a job, knowing that he had someone waiting at home. 3 says their relationship isn’t like that. There are no strings attached. Maxie says that he’s using the girl. 3 says they’re using each other. Maxie says she wouldn’t want that; she wants a relationship that sticks.

In the lobby, Sam says that she thought she heard movement outside and was hoping it was the cops coming to blow CJC’s head off. CJC tsk tsks her attitude and tells her to be careful because of her demerits. Elizabeth asks about the demerits. CJC says they were working on the point system. Good behavior got you points, bad behavior got you demerits. Sam’s got 8: 4 for tripping the alarm, 2 for ripping his mask, and 2 for the stunt with the knife. 2 more and she dies. CJC then asks someone to tell him what happens if SWAT comes busting through the doors? Emily reiterates his plan to blow up lobby. CJC commends her on being teacher’s pet and kisses her head.

By the door, Max groans, Fr. Ruiz helps him. 7 demands to see their hands. Max tells him to take it easy, they’re just trying to put more pressure on the wound. 7 doesn’t care. Fr. Ruiz tells 7 that Max is suffering. 7 tells Fr. Ruiz to say a prayer to ease his pain.

At the front desk, Lulu asks Spinelli what he’s doing. He explains about making an alogrithim to loop the mainframe to shut down. Lulu asks if he’s really going to open the vault. Spinelli says that CJC didn’t give him much of a choice. Lulu says it would be better for the hostages if CJC couldn’t get to the briefcase in the vault. Spinelli says his mission was her. Lulu asks about Sam. Spinelli says that Jason was going to make sure nothing happened to Sam, just like he’d make sure nothing happened to her. Lulu smiles this loopy little smile. Lulu says she appreciates the rescue but they need to help Jason, since he can’t save everyone by himself.

CJC tells “5″ to look after Sonny and Carly while he chats with 6. “5″ whispers to Sonny and Carly that Luke gave CJC the wrong code and that he doesn’t have the correct code. Sonny wants Jason to get Carly out, no matter what. Carly won’t leave without Sonny or Lulu. She says they can get the code and bargain with CJC. Sonny asks her if the numbers mean anything to Carly. She asks why he think they would. Sonny reminds her that she was married to Alcazar for a while.

Sam tells Elizabeth that when the shit starts going down, head straight to Jason. He’ll get her out of there. Elizabeths asks what about Sam. Sam says not to worry about her. Elizabeth and her baby are the priority.

CJC talks to 6. They could lose a lot of money if the case is an Equinox model and the code is reduced to ashes. He goes back to Sonny and Carly and tells them they’ve become a liability. He tells his gunmen that if anyone makes a move, kill them except for Sam. He’ll handle her punishment personally. He pulls Sonny and Carly in to Room #1.

Outside, Bobbie comforts Luke. He leaves to go find something to do. Bobbie comforts Georgie and then convinces her to go back to Kelly’s. They ask Dillon to come back with them, but Dillon wants to stay.

Patrick finds Luke and asks him what happened. Luke says the bluff didn’t work. Patrick finds Ric and wants to try to negotiate again. Ric, really tired of people telling him that, tells Patrick that CJC doesn’t want to negotiate. Luke asks Ric what the plan is. Ric says that they’ll go in when the vault opens at 5:30pm.

In the vault, 3 asks Maxie why she was there tonight. She was working in the boutique. He asks if she likes working retail. She says it’s not her dream job but it’s in the right industry. He thinks she could be so much more and has a lot more to offer. She tells him he doesn’t have to make her feel better about her life. 3 asks what her dream job is. She says she’s love to be a writer at a magazine to report on Fashion Week. But her writing skills are bad. 3 says he thought she went for what she wanted. Maxie says that’s not working out so great for her so far. She asks 3 what his big plans in life are. He says to make money quick and easy. Maxie says she’s sorry she ruined that for him. 3 says they’ll be a next time. Maxie hopes so. They both eye the briefcase.

In Room #1, 6 ties Carly and Sonny to chairs back to back. CJC tells them to say their goodbyes to each other because someone will be in later to put a bullet in their brains. Sonny says that he’ll need him to get into the case. Luke lied about the code to keep CJC from shooting Lulu. Sonny knows the real code. CJC and 6 leave. Carly asks Sonny what he plans to do now since he clearly doesn’t know the code. Sonny says he doesn’t but that she does. He tries to jog her memory. She grabs the phone cord with her toes to try to get phone but it falls on the floor and there’s no dial tone. Sonny asks Carly if the code could possibly be letters that correspond to numbers after he notices the phone’s key pad. Carly starts reeling off names of Alcazar’s loved ones: Skye, Diego, Sage, Luis. Sonny says those aren’t long enough. It has to be 6 digits. She reads him the letters: 7 is PQRS and 6 is MNO. Sonny goes through combinations until he hits SOP. This makes Carly think. SOP could stand for Sophie Germaine. She was Alcazar’s first love and he never got over her. Sonny spells out the code, in case those of you playing at home couldn’t look at a phone pad for whatever reason. It’s 767443.

Back in the lobby, Fr. Ruiz helps Max up to the round couch that Carly and Sonny were sitting on. Max doesn’t like his chances of waking up if he falls asleep. 7 goads Fr. Ruiz about his prayers not working. He says maybe God doesn’t like the pictures on his neck. Fr. Ruiz says the picture of Manny serves as a reminder. 7 calls Fr. Ruiz a coward for letting his brother’s soul burn in hell while he hides behind God. He hits Fr. Ruiz. Max tells him to lay off.

On the other couch, Robin wakes up. Emily asks her how the pain is. Robin says it’s there but if feels like it’s coming from far away. Emily tells Robin that she will live through this. Robin wants both Nikolas and Robin to promise her that if they all live through this, they won’t waste their lives together. They promise.

At the front desk, Spinelli’s done. He’s reset the internal timer to trick the vault into opening. Lulu wonders if he can do the opposite. He can but why? Lulu says they need to stall so CJC can’t get into the vault before the police are ready.

Elizabeth gets a cramp. “5″ leans down and tells her to run towards the door the minute anything happens. He tells Sam to wait for his signal and then get out and warn the police. CJC comes on them. “Well, isn’t this cozy?” He warns “5″ to be careful of Sam. He sends “5″ to go check on Spinelli and Lulu. CJC asks Sam if she’s trying to work one of his team. Elizabeth lies and says it was her fault. She was asking for more water. CJC says he’ll have to punish her. She’s now responsible for Sam’s behavior and demerits. If Sam gets into more trouble, Elizabeth pays the price. CJC walks over to talk to 6.

At the front desk, Spinelli says he’s done. With one keystroke, he’ll set in motion the algorithm that will start the override. Should he stall? “5″ say to do it. Spinelli looks at Lulu. “Do it.” she says.

Back at the couch, 7 asks Fr. Ruiz what’s with the stare. Fr. Ruiz says he’s praying for his soul. 7 hits Fr. Ruiz again. He tells Fr. Ruiz to turn the other cheek. Fr. Ruiz turns, 7 raises his hand to hit him again, but Max grabs his arm, while Fr. Ruiz grabs his knife and slices his throat. This? was COOL! I had to watch it in slow motion to see how it played out and it was even better in slo-mo. CJC watches the whole thing with a sort of bemused detachment. Someone pulls a gun (It looks like 6 because it looks like a girl’s hand holding the gun, but I can’t be sure because of what happens later.). “5″ starts to step towards Fr. Ruiz but 6 (see? how can she be by CJC and by “5″ at the same time? Either I’m mistaken as to her location or the continuity monkeys didn’t pay attention to the scene when they were shooting the multiple takes.) stops him. Everyone looks shocked. Fr. Ruiz stands there, knife dripping blood in one hand, rosary in the other. The rosary falls from his grasp.

I am all caught up on the recapping but I still need to get them into the entries.

GH – 3rd Floor OR
Ford takes over after Monica freezes. He gets Alan’s heart going again and repairs some damage. Monica takes over when he’s done.

GH – 3rd Floor Waiting Area
Edward, Dillon and Tracy wait for news. Edward thought he’d always get a chance to beg forgiveness from his children on his deathbed. Dillon leaves to go back to the hotel. Tracy says Alan won’t die because he won’t give Tracy the satisfaction of basking in your undivided attention. Skye comes in to check on Alan. Edward lays into her. Ric watches from the hallway as Edward disowns Skye. He calls LilaRae a disgrace to Lila’s name. That makes Skye mad. “Don’t ever insult my daughter!” Edward says he’s going to consult a lawyer as soon as he can to get Alan’s adoption of Skye overturned. Monica and Ford come out and update the family on Alan’s condition. Tracy leaves to go to the hotel. Skye leaves to go to Alcazar’s room. Edward and Monica talk about Alan.

GH – Evil Al’s Room
Ric confronts Skye in the hallway. He knows what it’s like to be an outsider in your own family. The best way to cure that is to make them pay.

Metro Court
In the lobby, 6 tells 5 not to be distracted and to cover his people.
CJC tells Luke to give him the code or else. Luke folds and give CJC a false code. CJC drags Lulu back inside and closes the door. He tells Lulu to thank Nikolas for intervening and getting her father to give up the code. Lulu thanks him. CJC throws her towards Nikolas. He comforts Lulu. CJC goes over to “5″ & 6. 6 says “5″ was distracted by the goings on. CJC asks “5″ if he’s tired. Sonny interrupts to get the attention away from “5.” He says he knows Luke, and that Luke isn’t bluffing about the code. They go back and forth about the briefcase and the code, blah blah blah.

Elizabeth and Sam bond, while “5″ gets to listen in. Elizabeth’s sorry she said anything mean to Sam. Sam admits she’s jealous of Elizabeth and Jason’s friendship. Elizabeth said the reason she didn’t want to marry Jason, even if he had been the Baby Daddy was because he loves Sam. My god! Finally! A normal dialogue between 2 characters that is honest and with each person really listening to the other. For once, I don’t want to strangle Sam!! Bravo, writers, Bravo.

CJC tells “5″ to take Lulu back to Room #2 and if she makes a sound, kill her. In Room #2, Lulu asks if they just wait there until he hears a noise so he can shoot her. Jason takes off his mask. Seeing him, Lulu starts to freak out and beat up on Jason. He gets her to calm down. Lulu wants to know what the plan is. Jason says that Luke gave a fake code. Lulu wants to know what happens if CJC finds out about that. Jason says CJC will make good on his threat to kill her so he has to get her out.

Outside, Ric asks Skye if there’s any chance that Luke got the code correct. Skye says that only Alcazar knows the code. When Luke comes back to the barricade, Ric threatens to arrest Luke. Luke says he won’t apologize and says that at least everyone knows the truth about the hostage situation. Ric’s all “sure, but if the code’s not right, CJC will kill all the hostages.” Mac tells Luke to let the cops handle it. They walk off. Skye tells Luke it was a good bluff. He says he should’ve let her do it, she’s cold enough. She says she was just trying to protect her family. Luke told her that she knew the danger people were in and she chose to protect Alcazar instead. She’s not the person he thought she was.

Meanwhile, Mac’s got a search warrant for Alcazar’s Compound, so he send Cruz to go look and find anything that will help them with the code.

In the lobby, Nikolas and Emily discuss escape options. She wants him to grab Robin and she’ll get Lulu and they’ll haul ass out of there. Nikolas wonders how they’ll get past the guards. She’s not sure but she’s not leaving Robin behind. Robin groggily says that’s exactly what they should do.

Sam reassures Elizabeth that Jason will come for them. Everyone he loves is in this lobby so there’s not a chance that he’ll just sit and wait.

Carly and Sonny try to figure out how Jason’s going to help and how they can help him.

Jason moves Lulu to Room #1. Jason tells Spinelli to get Lulu out. She argues but Jason tells her not to give him any lip. He puts his mask on and goes out to check the hallway. Lulu and Spinelli start to leave, but see CJC coming up the hallway so they go back and run into Jason. He grabs them both right as CJC rounds the corner and it looks as if “5″ has “caught” intruders. CJC says Spinelli’s not what he expected. Spinelli says he’s the Jackal and starts spouting off that the hotel will start shutting down in a matter of minutes. CJC tells “5″ to kill him and grabs Lulu. Lulu’s all “Wait!!” She says Spinelli can open the vault early.

Outside, Georgie comes back from Kelly’s to get an update from Mac. No word on Maxie. Georgie’s scared for Maxie.

Dillon talks with Luke about Lulu. He’s scared. He can’t imagine a life without Lulu. Luke says he’s made a life upon his ability to bluff successfully and he couldn’t do it this time.

Cruz tells Mac that the search at Alcazar’s yielded nothing. Lucky wants to try to negotiate for Elizabeth’s release. Georgie gets mad and goes off on Lucky about his behavior with Maxie. Lucky can only stare at Georgie because nothing she’s saying is untrue (to an extent) and he knows she’s worried.

Dillon comforts Georgie.  She says she judged Maxie just like everyone else did instead of helping her.  She says that she’ll never forgive herself if something happens to Maxie. 

Tracy comes up and thanks Luke for helping to save Alan.

In the lobby, Carly’s thinking about Jax. Sonny asks if she’s okay. She says that things change so fast.

Robin tells Nikolas and Emily to hold on to each other and run when the chance comes. Nikolas jokes that it would be rude to leave the wounded girl behind. Emily jokes that Nikolas is big on manners.

CJC brings Lulu and Spinelli back to the lobby. Lulu says Spinelli really can open the vault. Sonny confirms this. Spinelli used to work for Alcazar and now he works for him. CJC seems impressed. Spinelli says that he just needs a computer. Max tells Fr. Ruiz that now would be a good time to start praying. 6 tells “5″ to guard the door.

At the front desk computer, Spinelli tells Lulu that she has to do what they tell her the next time they rescue her. She says okay. Spinelli wonders why Jason just doesn’t shoot CJC. Lulu explains about the explosives. Spinelli gets to work.

Sonny tells Carly to haul ass when the shit hits the fan. He’ll find her if he gets out alive. He tells her he loves her. Carly wants him to promiser her that he’ll live. He asks her to marry him.

Nikolas and Emily declare their love for each other.

CJC asks Spinelli how it’s going. Spinelli says the vault system is tricky. CJC gives him a 1 hour deadline or else Lulu dies.

Elizabeth is sorry that she didn’t make a will. Sam tells her not to talk like that. She sees “5″ guarding the door. He looks straight at her and she realizes that it’s Jason!

Q Mansion – Den
Edward, Tracy, and Dillon are watching the news. The reporter is stating that Alan was shot. Edward wonders why Alan’s not getting up. Dillon says he’s dead. Tracy sharply tells him to be quiet. They leave to go to the hospital.

GH – Evil Al’s Room
Skye fills Alcazar in on what happened. She tells him the code is locked somewhere in his brain. Epiphany comes in to give Alcazar his meds and tells Skye that Alan’s on his way in. Skye encourages Alcazar to try and remember the code.

GH – 3rd Floor OR
Monica gets the low down from a doctor on Alan’s condition. Monica scrubs in. The doctor tells her against the rules. Monica: “Ask me if I care.” Dr. Ford says she’s too emotionally attached to the patient. Monica tells Ford that she’s been a cardiologist at GH for 20 years. She’s all “You’re not the boss of me!” True. Technically, her boss is Alan.  Monica starts the surgery. Ford is scrubbed in as well and waiting on the sidelines. The surgery starts to go well but then Alan codes and they start to lose him. They start CPR and the defib, but it’s not working. Monica freezes up.

GH – 3rd Floor Waiting Area
Edward, Dillon and Tracy all wait for Alan to come in. They ask her how Alan is. Epiphany says Dr. Ford will explain. Alan gets wheeled in. Edward tells Alan that he can’t be the heart patient, that’s Edward’s job. Skye tells Alan he needs to be strong. Monica tells Skye to shut it. Edward wants to know why Monica’s so hostile towards Skye. Monica fills them all in on the briefcase, etc. Edward wants to know if it’s true. Skye doesn’t say anything. Instead, she walks away. Tracy: “There’s your answer.”

Later, Dillon asks Tracy if she’s okay because she’s been quiet. She says she only rants and raves when she can get a reaction. She swears revenge on whomever is responsible if Alan dies. Dillon thinks that’s a bit extreme and says the hostage takers will either be long gone or dead. Tracy points out that Skye’s still here. Dillon says that Skye was only looking out for her family. Edward tells Dillon not to defend Alcazar. He says Alcazar will pay if Alan dies. They go pay a visit to Alcazar.

GH – Evil Al’s Room
Alcazar’s got a note pad full of numbers, trying to jog his memory. He gets frustrated and throws the pad across the room and it lands at Edward’s feet. They confront Alcazar about the hostages. Alcazar tells them he can’t remember.

Metro Court
In the vault, Maxie takes the opportunity to watch 3 while he sleeps. She pulls off his mask. He is immediately awake and tells her to give him one good reason why he shouldn’t shoot her. She tells him that if he kills her, it’s murder and he’ll be on the run for the rest of his life. Besides, he’s a lot less hot without the mask. 3 sits back down. He’s not happy with this situation. The job was supposed to be easy. He doesn’t think things through. Maxie knows the feeling. 3 wonders what happens now. How do they get out? Maxie says they’ll think of something. She thinks that maybe when the vault opens, they give the briefcase to the boss and then they run out the back way. 3 doesn’t think it’ll work. Maxie says it’s better than no plan at all.

In the hallway, Luke and Lucky realize the cops can’t hear them. Luke says they’ll never get a chance to get back in if they help Alan but Lucky says they can’t just let him die. They break the window (Really? They had to break it to open it? Did the gunmen seal the windows shut?) and climb out. Luke fires at 8 so SWAT can come in and drag Alan away. Monica asks Alan where he’s been shot. Luke says he wasn’t shot, he had a heart attack. Monica says Alan has no pulse. They’re taking him to GH.

In the lobby, Emily is still ranting about Alan. “You shot my father!” Prepare to Die! Sorry, had a Princess Bride moment there.  8 says Alan fell on his own. Emily pushes CJC, still ranting about what a coward everyone is. CJC stands there smirking, enjoying Emily’s outburst. “5″ tries to calm her down and when she almost takes his mask off, Carly stops her and tells her to calm down. CJC tells everyone to control their tempers and he grabs Marty and smacks his head onto the front desk. 6 takes Lulu into the back room. Sonny tells Carly that the gunmen are starting to unravel and to stop acting on impulse. CJC has “5″ stand watch over Carly and Sonny.

In Room #1, Spinelli’s handcuffed the real 5 and duct taped his mouth closed. 6 shoves Lulu into the room, not noticing Spinelli. Spinelli makes his presence known to Lulu and she runs and hugs him. Spinelli says his plan was outlined by Jason. Get Lulu and get out. Lulu won’t go just to save herself. She takes the gun and runs into the hallway, only to be confronted by 6. They hold guns on each other until Lulu finally gives hers up. Spinelli’s been hiding and when 6 drags Lulu back to the lobby, she makes a pointed remark about acting vs. waiting.

Back outside, Ric is yelling at Luke and Lucky. What were they thinking, sneaking into the hotel? He asks Mac if he okay’d the ‘copter. Mac says yes. Ric tells them about CJC’s call when he heard the helicopter. Lucky looks freaked that he endangered Elizabeth’s life.

In the lobby, Carly talks to Sonny about “Jason being in Paris.”

Nikolas and Emily talk about their plan to get out with Robin when things start happening.

Elizabeth is in some discomfort so Sam talks her through it. “5″ gets to listen in on their conversation.

Outside, Luke and Ric argue about the police handling the situation. Ric says he’ll have Luke arrested again. Luke leaves and runs into Skye. She’s going to go to the police and try to bargain with CJC. Luke says he’ll do it instead. Luke grabs a bull horn and walks towards the door. Ric tells the cops to shoot his legs. Mac tells them to stand down. Luke contacts CJC via bullhorn. He says he knows the code to the briefcase. He wants to trade himself for the hostages.

In the lobby, 6 has brought Lulu back and wonders who the guy outside is. CJC realizes that he’s got someone inside he cares about. Luke Spencer, any relation to Lulu? Lulu says it’s her dad. CJC grabs Lulu, opens the door and put the gun to her head. “Give me the code, Luke Spencer, or Lulu dies.”

Outside, Luke reassures Lulu that CJC won’t kill her. CJC questions Luke’s timing. Luke says Alcazar is under the weather. CJC wants the code or else he’ll kill Lulu and then he’ll kill Elizabeth and her unborn baby. Ric says he knew it wasn’t about money. Mac knew it involved Alcazar.

In the lobby, Carly wonders which gunman is Jason. Sonny says Jason might not get a clean shot at CJC and might hit Lulu instead. “5″ aims his weapon at CJC, but 6 asks him what he’s doing.

Outside, Luke’s still trying to get CJC to trade Lulu for him. Inside, Nikolas yells at Luke to give CJC the code. CJC says that the “hothead Nikolas” is right. Give the code or Lulu dies.

Monday, February 12, 2007:

The following takes place between 12:00am and 1:00am.

Q Mansion – Den
Monica, and Edward are watching the news. Since when did that room get a tv? Edward’s mad that the news isn’t giving them any more information. Monica tells him to calm down. Tracy and Dillon come in and tell them that one hostage is going to be released. Edward doesn’t get why Lulu and Alan were in the lobby anyways. Dillon says it’s his fault. Tracy asks why he thinks that. He says he stole Alan’s PDA to give to Lulu. Everyone’s confused. Dillon explains about the whole Rick Webber thing. Edward says Laura certainly didn’t deserve what happened to her but Rick did. Tracy looks shocked to find out that Monica started up an affair with Rick again. Monica admits she did and then says that she realized she loves Alan. Dillon says all she and Alan do is fight. It’s very – . Tracy finishes his sentence: dysfunctional. Monica: “Pot, meet Kettle.” Edward tells Dillon that all Qs fight like cats and dogs but that they love deeply. Tracy thinks Alan married beneath him. Edward: “This from Mrs. Luke Spencer.” Monica decides to do to the hotel to be there when Alan comes out. Dillon leaves too. Tracy asks Edward a hypothetical: “If I knew that Alan killed Rick, I wouldn’t help someone outside the family prove it.” Edward says that she’d blackmail Alan instead. Blackmail and double crosses are family traditions.

Metro Court
In the security office, Luke slaps Lucky a couple of times to get a hold of himself. They can’t go charging in. The plan is to pick off 2 guards, put on their outfits, infiltrate the group and get to the hostages that way. Lucky asks if it’ll work. Luke says there are no other ideas.

In Room #2, Sonny talks to 8 about CJC while Spinelli’s hiding. 8 pulls the trigger on his weapon but it doesn’t fire. CJC walks in and laughs. He tells Sonny the gun didn’t go off because he needs Sonny alive. He leaves. 8 secures Sonny. Jason heads back to the room. While Sonny is talking to 8, Spinelli has this action/sci-fi fantasy that involves him taking out the bad guy, saving Sonny, and kissing Lulu. It ROCKS!! Best line: “Spinelli! Thank God you saved me! I’ll never call you cupcake again!” Back in reality, Spinelli’s fantasy has spurred him into action and he’s about to make a move towards the gun but CJC comes back. He wants Sonny back in the lobby. why? Sonny notices the gun on the floor when he’s leaving.

In the lobby, CJC tells Emily to choose. She wants to examine the 2. CJC says there’s no time. 6 convinces CJC to let Emily examine them. Emily examines Alan. He tells her to choose Elizabeth. She reminds him of his earlier words about triage. He can’t believe she listened to him. She tells him to stick around so she can continue learning by his example. Emily checks on Elizabeth. Elizabeth says she’s fine and that Alan should go out first.

Carly tends to Alan. He tells her not to do him any favors. She says that if her kids ever say the things to her that Emily said to him, her life will be worth it.

CJC’s getting bored and wants Emily to choose. 6 points out that it’s more entertaining to watch Emily vacillate. CJC says it’s only fun to a point.

Outside, Mayor Floyd wants SWAT to go in when the doors open. Ric wants to wait until morning. Mayor Floyd says Ric has to accept that there will be casualties. Patrick finds that unacceptable and punches Mayor Floyd (coincidence that his initials are MF? I think not.). Floyd wants Patrick arrested. Mac and Ric both say no. Floyd tells Ric his career is in jeopardy. Epiphany calls Patrick that there’s a DUI with severe head trauma coming in, but Patrick hangs up on her.

In the lobby, CJC tells 4 to keep Sonny and Carly apart.

Elizabeth tells Emily that she’s not in critical condition. CJC calls Elizabeth’s gesture noble. Nikolas calls CJC a coward. CJC tells Nikolas to shut up and it about to shoot him but 6 tells him not to shoot Nikolas or else Emily will be to hysterical to choose. CJC snits “Fine. I’ll just choose another target.” and shoots Max in the shoulder. Although, from where the blood stain is, it looks as if Max got shot in the chest.Carly starts to run towards Max but Sonny and CJC both yell at her to stop. CJC points the gun at Sonny and tells Carly to decide who matters to her more. She sits back down. CJC decides they can’t have Max bleed to death so he aims at Max again, but Sonny reminds him that the big idea was to have Emily choose. CJC’s all “oh right.” He asks Emily who it’s going to be. Emily is about to make her choice when Lulu jumps up and tells Emily that she has to pick Elizabeth. Alan’s had a full life but Elizabeth’s baby hasn’t had a chance to live yet.

In Room #2, Spinelli crawls out from behind the desk. He hears a noise behind him and points the gun. It’s Jason. Spinelli’s upset because he froze when he could’ve helped Mr. Corinthos Sir. Jason takes his gun. Spinelli’s getting his computer when 5 comes into the room. Why? What reason did he have to come back into an empty room? It’s not as if CJC has them patrolling.They get the drop on him. Spinelli wonders what happens now. Jason holds 5’s mask.

In the hallway, Lucky and Luke make their way to the lobby.

Outside, Mac, Ric, and Patrick (I feel like Patrick’s name shouldn’t have a “K” at the end of it just for synergy.) discuss the hostage situation. Dr. Ford comes looking for Patrick. Patrick says he’s staying. Ford threatens the Review Board. Patrick doesn’t care. Ford says Biff Danza needs surgery and Patrick’s the most qualified. Biff, for those of you not watching at home, is the landlord who didn’t want to rent to Patrick initially. Patrick’s all “Bigot can have someone else operate on him.” Ford points out that Robin wouldn’t want Robin to ignore a patient, bigot or not. He leaves.

In Room #2, Jason drags 5 behind a table. Spinelli asks Jason to check on Lulu. Jason tells Spinelli to say on the system and monitor what’s going on. He leaves. 5 starts to wake up and Spinelli knocks him back out by hitting him with his laptop. Hello. Handcuffs, duct tape? Tie him up, goobers!

In the lobby, Jason joins the group as “5″ while CJC calls Lulu’s outburst very dramatic. Emily chooses Alan. Carly tries to help Alan up. CJC says no. Alan gets out on his own steam or no go. CJC sends 8 with sniper gun upstairs to the 2nd floor and tells him to shoot if it looks like the police are coming close to the doors. Alan tries to get up but can’t. He says to send out Elizabeth. CJC says no exchanges. Emily gets MAD and yells that he made her choose and she did so the least he could do is let someone help Alan out. CJC says fine and has 4 and “5″ help Alan out.

In the hallway, Lucky and Luke notice there’s a lot of activity going on at the barricade. They watch from the window.

Outside, Monica finds Mac and wants to be there just in case (she is a doctor, after all). The SWAT Captain notices movement on the 2nd floor. It’s a sniper. Mac tells them to fire on the sniper if he fires first. Alan comes out. 8 fires, so the police respond in kind. Monica starts going crazy. Alan clutches his heart and collapses.

Inside, Emily starts going crazy and Nikolas is trying to restrain her.

In the hallway, Lucky realizes that Alan is having a heart attack. He and Luke yell at the cops to stop shooting.

In the lobby, Carly recognizes Jason.

Friday, February 9, 2007:

The following takes place between 11:00pm and 12:00am.
tick-tick…tick-tick…tick-tick…tick-tick…tick-tick…

This episode focuses entirely on the Metro Court so there’s no outside storyline. Therefore, I think I’m just going to go in the scene order. This means no blue location explanations.

Luke asks Lucky if he’s in. Lucky’s all “you bet your sweet ass I am.”

Jason opens the door. Spinelli’s glad there are no alarms. Jason tells him he can still back out. Spinelli says that he’s Jason’s wingman, his Apollo to his Starbuck, etc. Jason tells him to focus. He gives Spinelli a gun.

Sam hold CJC at knife point and tells everyone to drop their guns. CJC says that the gunmen aren’t his friends. They’re paid to do a job and they will blow up the lobby. Sam lets go of him. He takes the knife from her.

Sonny and Carly are leaving the room when they run into the Henchman with Lulu. It’s not 7, as I thought. 7 has a New York accent and this one has an Irish accent. I’ll call him 8. 8 tells them to drop the weapon or she dies. Sonny gives up his weapon.

Lucky tells Luke he’s breaking laws to include Luke. Dillon wants in as well.

Mac’s mad at Ric for not following chain of command and coordinating with rest of the department. I still don’t think Ric as the DA has this much clout over the PCPD but whatever. Mayor Floyd shows up and demands to know why the hostages aren’t out.

Spinelli’s not good with guns. Jason shows him how to unlock the safety. They go in.

Elizabeth whimpers again and CJC wonders if she’s faking it. She says she’s not. He tells her to meditate on her navel. 8 brings Sonny, Carly and Lulu back to the lobby. CJC pulls Sam out of the lobby.

Nikolas wonders if CPR would help. Emily says it won’t work because Alan’s heart needs to be shocked back into rhythm. Alan says all this time he was worried about Jason because of his lifestyle and instead it’s him who’s dying in the middle of a hostage situation. Nikolas finds another aspirin. Emily says Alan needs a defibrillator soon or he’ll die.

Luke tells Dillon they’re not looking to form a possee. Dillon snits that he and Lulu are connected and that if the 2 of them can risk their life for family, then so can he. No one points out the obvious: Lucky is trained, Luke’s got years of experience on his side. Dillon’s got nothing but movie watching as experience. Luke says Dillon’s not going in. Tracy shows up and tells Luke he’s not either. Luke can’t sit back and let the cops get his daughter killed. Tracy gives him a kiss before he and Lucky leave.

Mayor Floyd blusters some more about the hostages.

Maxie’s staring at 3. He wants to know what she’s staring at. She says she’s hungry. She wants pizza. 3 says he wants a Philly Cheesesteak, but a real one from Philly. Maxie says gross but 3 says authentic ones are best. She says he has to tell her where in Philly. 3 realizes he’s said too much and tells her to mind her own business.

Spinelli and Jason are in the hallway. Jason needs Spinelli to pull up the schematics on rooms that have air ducts. Spinelli measures Jason’s shoulders with his hands. Jason’s all “don’t touch me.” Spinelli tells him he might have to hunch. Jason: “I don’t hunch.” Spinelli pulls up the schematics and realizes that Jason won’t know where he’s going. He wonders if Jason’s okay with being dependent on him for guidance. Jason says he trusts Spinelli.

CJC goes into the room with Alan, Emily, and Nikolas. He kicks them out to the lobby. He tells 6 to check on 4 as well. He then turns to Sam and tells her she’s in big trouble. He unzips her jumpsuit. She calls him a pig. He rezips her jumpsuit, and tells her he doesn’t rape women but that she was expecting it. He figures she’d do anything to stay alive, even at the expense of others.

Lulu tends to Elizabeth. Elizabeth asks Carly how Robin’s doing. Carly says from what she can tell, she’s still breathing. 8 won’t let her check. Emily, Nikolas, and Alan come back in. Sonny convinces 6 to let them use the defib machine on Alan.

Ric and Mayor Floyd argue some more.

Tracy and Dillon are standing around waiting. Scotty shows up.

CJC tells Sam there’s a certain nobility in the other women. They care about others. But not her. Self preservation is her most basic instinct. He compares her to him. And the writers pretty much hit the nail on the head as to why Sam doesn’t work for me as a character. She’s completely selfish. Sure, she loves Jason, sure she loved her brother, but in the end, she’d sacrifice them to save her own skin. Which she did with her brother, right? Didn’t she let her developmentally disabled brother take the blame for a fire that she actually started?

Spinelli and Jason enter a room, where Jason notices blood. Spinelli is freaked that the evil doers were in this room. What if they come back?

Emily shocks Alan. His heartbeat stabilizes. CJC brings Sam back to the lobby. He’s not happy about 6 giving Emily a defib machine. He rearranges the hostages. He stops Elizabeth when she goes for more water. He hears helicopters and goes into a rage. He grabs Elizabeth and gets on the phone with Ric. He tells Ric to get rid of the helicopters or else Nurse Elizabeth gets shot.

Jason hears the helicopters. He has Spinelli switch the safety off the gun and goes into the air duct. Spinelli puts his gun on the floor next to the chair he’s sitting in.

Maxie tells 3 she’s not trying to trick him. She’s just making conversation. She’s a strange combination of bored and terrified. 3 says soldiers go through that. Maxie starts to talk about her family and how she’s the family disaster.

Tracy thought Scotty was in prison. Dillon thought he’d be gone for good after the Port Charles fire. Scotty says that you can never really leave PC. Tracy wonders why he’s back now. Scotty says he heard about Laura. Dillon asks why he cares about Laura. That was ages ago.

Luke and Lucky land on the roof. They’ll get into the security offices behind the lobby.

CJC says he can still here the helicopters. Ric says it’s just news helicopters. He wants Elizabeth released. CJC wonders what’s in it for him.

Carly’s on the floor with Alan. She asks if he’s okay. He says that nothing she will do can ever make up for what she did to AJ. She’s sure that AJ wouldn’t want Alan to die just because he wouldn’t take help from her.

Nikolas notices the helicopter going away. Emily starts to cry about Spencer and Cam.

3 can’t believe that someone as pretty as Maxie isn’t popular. Maxie says she isn’t. 3 wants her to explain. She explains about Jesse, Lucky, the pills, the fake pregnancy and miscarriage. 3 thinks she’s more interesting than he thought. Maxie says that compared to him, her life is pretty sunshine and roses right now.

Ric says he thinks the gunmen will release the pregnant hostage. Mayor Floyd wants the cops and SWAT to storm the building when she’s released.

Scott tells Dillon he’s loved Laura his whole life and that he’s had his whole life to see the Luke and Laura romance. It was abusive and not what it seemed. Not that Scotty was any better for Laura. He’s a thief and a thug, just like Luke, except he comes from a better background. At least Luke admits his flaws.

Luke and Lucky are in the security offices. They view the cameras and notice that one isn’t completely blacked out. Lucky sees that Elizabeth is in distress.

CJC tells the hostage that Ric will do anything for a hostage to be released. Emily says it should be Robin. CJC says that’s not an option since she’s provided him with a lot of entertainment thus far. He thinks it should be Elizabeth or Alan. But first, CJC needs to kill Sonny.

In the air duct, Jason crawls along. Spinelli tells him that he should be seeing an opening a few feet in front of him. Jason sees it. He looks down into the lobby.

It’s Maxie’s turn to guess stuff about 3. She says she can’t really guess about someone when she doesn’t know what he looks like. She says he has nice eyes, a decent physique, interesting friends, and likes heavy firearms. 3 tells Maxie that Lucky didn’t deserve her. Maxie finds it hard to believe that 3 never cheated on a girl. He says he never did. Maxie says it’s nice to know that he has a moral code. She realizes that Lucky loves Elizabeth, she knew he always did, but she didn’t care.

Scotty tells Tracy it behooves her to help him out by staying married to Luke because if Laura ever recovers, Luke might try to go back to her.

Ric and Mayor Floyd fight some more. You can’t put the hostages in the middle of a firefight. Mayor Floyd thinks these guys will realize the money isn’t worth it. Ric says the situation isn’t about money and jewels. CJC has an agenda and you’ll get people killed.

Luke stops Lucky from charging in when he sees Elizabeth in distress.

Spinelli hears a noise and tells Jason to stop. He goes diving behind a desk, leaving his gun on the floor. 8 pulls Sonny into the room and tells him to face the wall. Sonny says that even in 3rd world countries, prisoners get a cigarette and a meeting with a priest. 8 says Sonny’s had all night to say his prayers. Sonny turns around and says he at least wants to look at his killer. 8 tells him to suit himself. Jason’s hearing all this via Spinelli’s headset.

CJC says they have a dilemma. Who gets to leave? He points a gun at Emily and tells her to choose: Alan or Elizabeth.

PCPD – The Only Interrogation Room In The Whole Damn Precinct
Luke is drawing himself a map of the hotel. Tracy comes in. She’s not bailing him out. She wants him to let the police handle things. Luke reminds her that she’s been big on him helping his daughter. Tracy sighs and says she’ll post his bail on one condition: he had to go see Skye at the hospital and find out what she knows.

Not Starbucks – Sonny’s Office
Spinelli says he can’t find info on CJC. He asks how the Boys are. Jason says they’re fine and he sent them to stay with Bobbie. Spinelli gives Jason an earpiece with a mike. They test it. Mike comes in and tells Jason he can get Jason into the lobby. Mike shows Jason a passage where he and his bookie like to do business. He and another person handle illegal business transactions inside a hotel with state-of-the-art security? Dumb. Mike leaves. Spinelli comes back in and Jason tells him that once they get in, things will go fast so Spinelli has to focus. Is Spinelli okay with this? Spinelli says he owes it to Lulu to get her out. They’re about to leave when Ric shows up. He’s got a warrant to hold Jason for 48 hours so that Jason won’t do something stupid, like mount a rescue. Jason’s phone rings. It’s Sonny. Sonny wants Jason to make arrangements to have a speed boat ready at Pier 17. Jason hangs up the phone. Ric assumes it had something to do with how to get into the hotel. He rips up the warrant and leaves. He figures Jason will distract the gunmen which will give the police the time they need to get the hostages out and Jason will possibly get killed in the process. He leaves. Jason gets on the phone and puts Sonny’s instruction into effect. Spinelli wonders what the new plan is. Jason’s all “same as the old one.” Spinelli says they can’t just walk into the trap set by the DA. Jason doesn’t care. They have a small window of opportunity.

GH – Evil Al’s Room
Alcazar asks Skye if everything’s going okay with the shipment. She thinks he’s recovered his memory but he hasn’t. Epiphany says Dr. Ford’s waiting in the hallway for Skye. Dr. Ford tells Skye he wants to bring in a cognitive specialist to help Alcazar. She vetoes that idea tout suite. Alcazar’s got evil employers who can’t know that he’s incapacitated in any way. Dr. Ford is adamant about rehab starting right away. Luke comes in to talk to Skye. She confides in Luke what’s going on.

Metro Court – Lobby, Outside, Rooms #1 & #2, Vault
In the lobby, Robin asks Elizabeth how bad is it. Elizabeth tells her. Emily asks if she can check on Robin. CJC has her change places with Lulu. Emily tells Robin the bullet’s still in her. They tell her that even Carly helped to save her life.

Outside, Patrick wants Ric to call again and try to make a deal. Ric tells Patrick that CJC doesn’t want to deal. Ric walks away. Patrick’s standing there, looking very unhappy, when Pete comes up and asks how things are. Patrick goes on and on about how he loves Robin, how he’s changed for the better since he met her, blah blah blah. Pete suggests coffee, but Patrick won’t leave. Pete leaves. Mac assures Patrick that he’ll do everything to make sure Robin stays with them a long time. And if that isn’t the biggest foreshadowing of a death knoll, I don’t know what is.

In Room #2, Carly asks Sonny why it feels like he’s saying goodbye to her. They tell each other they love one another and then kiss. Carly breaks it off and says she can’t go through this again. Sonny says they can make a go of it.

In the lobby, Robin is in pain. Elizabeth and Emily want aspirin. The Gunman (I’m thinking it’s 4) says no. Lulu proposes alcohol. 4 says ok. Emily’s not sure they should give Robin alcohol considering how much blood she’s lost and how dehydrated she is. Robin says that she’s being held together with thread and duct tape so she’ll take her chances. What hotel keeps alcohol out in the lobby? I’ve never been to one that does. Even the primo 5 star hotels don’t do that. Robin tells Emily and Elizabeth not to blame themselves when she dies. Elizabeth tells her not to think that way. Robin want them to help Patrick through things and help him find a woman who will help him.

In the other part of the lobby, Sam tries to give Fr. Ruiz the knife. He won’t take it at first but when she mentions making amends for Manny, he gives in. Before he can take it, CJC comes up and says they look rather intense. Sam says she can’t sit next to Fr. Ruiz. CJC wants to know why. Fr. Ruiz says the he reminds her of Manny, his twin brother. CJC wants to know how alike they were. Fr. Ruiz: “Enough alike until I gave myself to God.” But the way he said that made it seem like God didn’t take all of him, you know what I’m saying? CJC stokes Sam’s hair and can’t believe that Fr. Ruiz isn’t attracted to Sam. Fr. Ruiz tells CJC that he’s praying for his soul. CJC kicks Fr. Ruiz and says that his prayers are wasted. He decides to change up the hostages. He grabs Nikolas, to which Lulu protests. He tells her to sit and shut it. CJC then takes Nikolas to Alan.

In Room #2, CJC comes in to check on Carly and Sonny. He wants to know how soon Sonny can arrange for an escape. Sonny tells CJC to dial. After the call to Jason, Sonny tells CJC it’s all set up. CJC says thanks but he won’t need it. Carly asks why he made the call then. Sonny says CJC already has an exit strategy in place, but this call puts the cops on the wrong trail if they were listening to the call. Carly says CJC will still need a back up. CJC says he does. He says that he and Sonny are alike. Carly disagrees. Sonny offers CJC money to let Carly go. CJC says no. He leaves. Sonny and Carly talk. 4 comes in to check on them and they get the drop on him. They tie him up.

In Room #1, Nikolas covers Alan with a sheet and they talk about his relationship with Emily. Alan gets sicker so Nikolas calls for help. 5 brings Emily in to help. Nikolas tries to appeal to 5 but 5 says his job will be easier if people die.

Outside, the SWAT Captain tells Ric they’ve spotted movement on the south side entrance. Wait, I thought Spinelli and Jason were going in through the east side entrance? The Captain says he’s got a team ready to intercept at any time. Ric tells them to stand down. The Captain protests, but Ric covers by saying that he doesn’t want to run around half cocked in case those are hostages.

Jason and Spinelli are at the entrance waiting for the locks to resent. They click and Spinelli pushes some buttons. Jason starts to open the door and Spinelli starts his mantra of “please no alarms, please no alarms.” Jason thought Spinelli disabled the alarms. Spinelli says he did, in theory.

Luke finds Lucky and tells him about Alcazar and the briefcase. He says it’s not some botched robbery. He tells Lucky this is his last chance. “Are you with me?”

Back in the lobby, Fr. Ruiz wants to know what Sam will do with the knife. She’s not going to wait for someone to rescue her. Fr. Ruiz points out that they don’t know who has the detonator. Sam says that no one was ever saved by giving into their fear.

A henchman (possibly 7 since 4 is tied up and 5 deposited Emily with Alan) pulls Elizabeth away from Robin to Lulu. Elizabeth starts to cramp. Lulu goes to get water but 6 stops her. Sam pipes up that no one wants a baby born in the middle of all this so 6 agrees to the water. Lulu gets a bottle but CJC comes back and nixes it. Lulu protests and calls him a psycho freak. CJC tells 7 to take her back to another room. Elizabeth says that Lulu’s just scared for her. CJC wonders why Elizabeth needs the water. Elizabeth explains that dehydration causes the cramps that could lead to her giving birth. He gives her the water when she says please and thank you. I have the same water bottles. They’re sold in some of the nicer grocery stores here in Los Angeles, and of all places, a 7-11 in Studio City, which is probably near where GH films. CJC says courtesy goes a long way. Sam: “How’s this for courtesy? I’ll thank whatever cop blows your head off.” CJC starts to lean in to say something to her. Elizabeth groans, distracting him enough so that Sam can kick his legs out from under him, grab him into a head lock and put the knife to his throat.

GH – Evil Al’s Room
Alexis is badgering Alcazar. Dr. Ford comes in and pulls her away. They argue. She gets dizzy. Dr. Ford has her wheeled away. Alcazar doesn’t understand why Alexis was so angry with him. Skye tells him it isn’t his fault.

GH – 10th Floor Room
Dr. Ford admits Alexis to the hospital for dehydration. She’s pissed. Ric visits her. They fight about her being there and how she thinks he’ll use it against her. Dr. Ford kicks him out. They talk about Dr. Ford’s wife passing away 6 months ago from cancer and how she smoked weed to ease her pain. Hmm…potential advocate for the custody case?

Not Starbucks – Sonny’s Office
Spinelli’s doubtful that his plan to disarm the alarm system will work because even if the bad guys don’t know they’re in there, the cops will. Jason doesn’t care. Spinelli points out the east stairwell as the best entry point. Spinelli then starts going off on an “uh-oh” tangent until Jason tells him to focus. Spinelli says that Jason will be flying blind once he’s inside. He starts to worry about Lulu. She gets mouthy when she’s scared. Jason says so do Carly and Sam. He thinks they’re probably moving the hostages from room to room in order to stop any revolts from happening. Spinelli wonders who Jason will save first. Jason won’t know until he gets in. Spinelli figures Lulu isn’t on the short list so he wants to go with Jason to help Lulu. Besides, Jason will need logistical support. Jason stares at him for a beat and then tells Spinelli to stay focused and do what he’s told. Jason then gets a call from Michael. Michael saw the news coverage and is worried about Carly and Sonny. Jason goes to Greystone to comfort Michael. Jason promises he’ll get Sonny and Carly out alive.

I’ve got a note here that says “GH/ICU-skye.” No clue what the hell that means.

Metro Court – Rooms #1 & #2, Lobby, and Outside
Lulu gets taken out of Alan’s room and put into another room. She encounters Sonny, who’s all beaten up. She looks for water while filling him in on what’s going on in the lobby. Sonny tells her to stay calm and not give CJC a reason to kill her.

In the lobby, there’s a lot of blood. Patrick tells Emily to clamp off the artery. She can’t see anything. Elizabeth gets up to help. CJC points a gun at her. She tells him she’s a surgical nurse and can help. He oks it. Patrick walks them through the rest of the surgery. Emily starts to close up but CJC says it’s time for Carly to make good on her promise. Emily says she’s almost done. CJC won’t let her close and says that if anyone shouts out helpful hints, they’ll get shot. Carly decides she’s not going to let CJC have the benefit of seeing her fail so she finishes. CJC says Carly gets a reward for that. He has Sam and Elizabeth bandage Robin up and he grabs Carly. Elizabeth spots the paring knife and gets Sam to notice it as well. Sam palms it while they’re finishing cleaning up.

CJC takes Carly into the room with Sonny and pulls Lulu out. Carly tells Sonny about the surgery. She helps him get out of the cuffs with a paperclip. She wants to go storming the castle but Sonny tells her that subterfuge is their best course of action. He admits to Carly that he loves her and that he always will.

CJC comes back into the lobby with Lulu. He moves the hostages around again. Max goes to the front door of the hotel to be a shield against any snipers. Sam gets seated near Fr. Ruiz. Lulu stays with Elizabeth to tend to Robin. Lulu asks Elizabeth how she’s doing. Elizabeth is okay.
Sam tells Fr. Ruiz that she hated Elizabeth at first for being able to have a baby when she couldn’t but now, if anything happens, her baby could die and Elizabeth’s little boy could be motherless. She asks Fr. Ruiz if he ever used a knife to fight. He says he used to. She asks if he would again.  She shows him the knife.
Emily tells Nikolas not to let her sleep. He promises to wake her if something happens.

Outside, Skye comes over to yell at Patrick for leaving. She says that because he rushed through the surgery, Alcazar doesn’t remember any of the information that could help save Robin’s life. I really wish someone would just bitch slap Skye. She leaves. Patrick thanks Mac for letting him stick around. Mac tells him he took a big risk, but that Patrick earned the right to be there. Patrick: “Please God let her be okay.”

In the lobby, CJC’s patrolling. He notices Emily sleeping and tells Nikolas that she’s earned her rest. He hopes that Fr. Ruiz is praying for the patient.

On the couch, Robin wakes up and tries to sit up and bellows in agony while Lulu and Elizabeth try to get her to stay still.

You know, my notes were only 1 page (front and back). I don’t think that’s correct but it’s possible since my notes were incredibly abbreviated. If I’ve missed something, let me know.

GH – Evil Al’s Room
Jason starts asking Alcazar questions. Alcazar can’t remember. Skye asks if he remembers being shot. Alcazar asks Jason if he shot him. Skye says no. Alcazar asks if Jason works for him. Jason’s all “Dude, no.” Skye and Jason go out into the hallway (with Skye commending Alcazar for his “brilliant acting”). Skye tells Jason that Alcazar obviously doesn’t remember anything. They discuss the briefcase. She tells him he can’t go to the cops because they’ll arrest Alcazar for espionage. Jason says the sellers will want deniability and therefore won’t care if the hostages die. He tells her to keep asking Alcazar about the code. He leaves. Skye goes back in to see Alcazar. He’s still disoriented and thought that Jason was a friend. She realizes that Alcazar really doesn’t remember.

Later, Dr. Ford comes to visit Alcazar. He wants to know where Patrick is. Skye said Patrick took off. Dr. Ford is outraged. Skye wants to know if there’s any way to stimulate Alcazar’s brain back into place. Dr. Ford doesn’t want to push him too fast.

While they’re talking, Alexis comes into the room and confronts Alcazar about the briefcase and the Metro Court debacle. Alcazar is confused as to what she means.

GH – 10th Floor
Dr. Russell Ford (Look, just in time for Black History Month, they add another African American to the cast. That makes 4 black folk in Port Charles now. Oh god. I really hope they aren’t setting him up to be: a) the new Chief of Staff to take Alan’s place; and/or b) a love interest for Epiphany. Not that I don’t want Epiphany to have a love interest; I’d just prefer that she have someone closer to her own age.) confronts Epiphany about the errors in the nursing staff. Epiphany is respectfully firm in her disagreement with his assessment.

Elsewhere, Tracy tells Edward to take his pills and avoid stress. Edward isn’t sure how to avoid stress when his family is in danger. He asks where Luke is. They’re at the elevators now and joined by Monica. Tracy tells them that Luke is in jail, for trying to go in with the SWAT guys. She thought about bailing him out but realized that it would be better for everyone that he’s in jail. Monica decides to stay at the hospital. They leave. Jason rounds the corner and Monica sees him. She asks if he has a plan. He doesn’t say anything. She tells him that she knows he’s worried about Sam but asks that he please help Alan and Emily as well. The Lobby Hostages are like a who’s who of Jason’s life: Emily and Alan; Sonny, Carly, and Max; Sam; Elizabeth; and to a lesser extent, Lulu.

Dr. Ford (I can’t call him Russell; I knew a guy in high school who was my arch-nemisis and I can’t project that kind of hate onto Dr. Ford since he doesn’t seem to be a bad guy yet. If I find his attitude and character to be less than pleasant, I’ll start calling him Russell.) wants to speak to the Chief of Staff. Monica says the Chief of Staff is busy being held hostage at the Metro Court. My notes here say “Epiph – rolls” and I can’t figure out what the hell that means. I think it means that she rolled her eyes but I can’t be sure. That’s what I get for taking abbreviate notes and then waiting so long to post the recaps.

Not Starbucks – Sonny’s Office
Spinelli’s got the plans for the hotel. Jason wants points of entry. Spinelli says there are a lot but they’re all locked. Jason has a pass key but Spinelli points out that the pass key would show up on the security monitors at the Front Desk. Jason wants to know if Spinelli can override the security. Spinelli hesitates. If he tries to do it and it sets off the alarm, it’ll get the hostages killed. However, the silver lining is that the alarms reset at 11pm. He can attemp to override the alarms and no one will be watching.

Metro Court – Rooms #1 & #2, Lobby, and Outside
CJC tells Sam she just make things much more complicated. Carly’s all “I *knew* I recognized him from somewhere!” He tells 5 to bring the bag and makes Sam put on one of the black jumpsuits they’re wearing.

Emily tries to get out of the room but 6 (formerly known as the Henchwoman) stops her. Emily asks for a defib machine but 6 says no. Emily finds some aspirin for Alan. They reminisce about when Emily was younger.

At the door, Patrick is pleading for Robin’s life. He’ll take her place. CJC says that they’re at an impasse because he likes the hostages he has. Patrick wants to save Robin. CJC says he should just kill Robin now. Carly protests. At least let Patrick tell them how to save her. CJC is intrigued. If he agrees, he wants Carly to do the surgery. Patrick says he can’t do the surgery if he can’t examine the wound. CJC tells him that’s what makes life so delightful, the ability to take the lemons life hands you and make lemonade. Patrick relents and agrees, wanting to know the rules. CJC tells him to go back to the barricade and wait for his call. Carly protests, saying that she can’t do the surgery alone. CJC tells her that’s what will make it more interesting. He agrees that she can have either Emily or Elizabeth help. She picks Emily.

CJC interrupts Alan and Emily’s talk to get Emily for the “surgery.” Emily doesn’t want to leave Alan but he tells her that this is triage – the most needy patients get treated first. Emily leaves. CJC tells Lulu she can go in and keep Alan company. Lulu thinks someone else should do it. CJC says that Alan’s a doctor so he can help her help him and sends 2 to take her to the room.

Alexis comes on the scene as Patrick makes his way back to the barricade. He’s made a deal to try to help save Robin. Ric and Patrick argue about Patrick making a foolhardy move, blah blah blah. Mac comes back. Ric asks where he was. Mac says Monica thought that Skye and/or Alcazar had knowledge about what’s going on. Ric’s all “figures.” Alexis overhears this and leaves.

CJC calls Patrick who talks to Emily. Emily describes the wound. He gives her a list of supplies. CJC asks who wants to go on a scavenger hunt. Marty offers to go. CJC picks Nikolas and Sam to go instead. They have 10 minutes to get everything or else no surgery and someone else gets shot.

In Room #1, Alan asks Lulu for an update. He then asks why she thinks he killed Rick Webber. She lays it out for him. Alan admits he hated Rick but that he actually thought Monica killed Rick. Lulu’s mad that he let her mom suffer. Alan hopes that someday Lulu will forgive him for that but he believes that Laura is innocent because he saw something. Before he can tell her what, he has more chest pain.

Back in the lobby, CJC’s waiting for Nikolas and Sam to come back with the supplies. They make it in the nick of time. CJC tells Patrick that if he says anything not related to the surgery, pow-pow. Patrick walks Emily and Carly through the surgery, but Robin starts to bleed profusely because the bullet nicked an artery.

GH – 10th Floor OR
Patrick operates. He and Noah argue some more. Debris has migrated, blah blah blah professional ethics. You know, for a doctor who spent all of 5 minutes yesterday telling Patrick that he couldn’t finish the surgery because he didn’t know how to do it, Noah’s sure full of opinions about what Patrick’s doing wrong. Patrick finishes the surgery and wants Alcazar woken up ASAP.

GH – 10th Floor – Alcazar’s Room
Skye tells Jason that Alcazar’s been unconscious so he can’t be involved with what’s going on. She gets off the phone. Monica says that whatever’s going on has to do with Alcazar. Monica wants to know why Alcazar didn’t put whatever was valuable in a safe at his own home. Monica realizes it was too dangerous to do so with Skye and LilaRae there. She berates Skye for knowing there was danger there and letting Alan and Emily be at that hotel. Skye tells Monica that Alcazar had nothing to do with the hostage situation. Monica can’t believe that Skye would still defend Alcazar. Skye says that he’s the father of her child. Monica counters that Skye is Alan’s daughter. Skye has no reply for that. Noah and Patrick come in. Skye asks how Alcazar is. Noah says they won’t know if there are any complications until he regains consciousness. Patrick has increased the oxygen levels so hopefully Alcazar will wake up soon. Skye asks Monica to leave. Monica: “I liked you lots better when you were a drunk!!” HA!!! If I were doing the “lines at the title,” that would’ve been the subject line for today. She leaves. Skye wants to know if there’s a problem with Alcazar. Patrick says no. He removed the bullet fragment and stopped the bleeding. He leaves. Noah chases after him. Patrick says he did his part. Noah reminds Patrick that if something happens to Alcazar, he could lose his license. Patrick doesn’t care about anything but Robin. He leaves.

Patrick runs for the elevator. Monica chases after him but misses him. Epiphany tells Monica not to take it personally because all he cares about at this point is Robin. Monica asks if Epiphany was in the OR during Alcazar’s surgery. Epiphany confirms she was. Monica asks if Alcazar knew anything about the hostage situation. Epiphany says that Patrick seemed to think so. Monica mulls this over and then calls Mac. She thinks he needs to questions Skye.

Skye asks Noah what he’s not telling her about the surgery. Noah says the bullet fragments were lodged in a serious area. She wants to know what’s the worst that could happen. Before Skye gets a chance to answer, Mac comes in and says he hears she has information regarding the hostage situation. Skye says Monica’s grasping at straws. Mac tells Skye that Robin was shot so if Skye knows anything, now would be the time to tell him. Monica says that Epiphany thought that Patrick had reason to believe that Alcazar had information. Skye says she doesn’t know anything. Monica: “You lying bitch!” Mac tells her that if Skye’s withholding information and someone dies, it’s on her head. Everyone leaves. Skye looks scared and sad. She starts talking to Alcazar when he wakes up. Jason comes in at that moment and they both start asking him about the case. Alcazar doesn’t remember anything.

Not Starbucks – Sonny’s Office
Jason and Spinelli get to work. Jason starts rattling off what he needs: plans of the hotel, every probable way in, find out what you can about the hotel security cameras, get background on CJC, cross reference info with Alcazar’s #. Spinelli’s trying to keep up with Jason’s demands but it gets too much. Spinelli’s all “Dude! Stop! What do you want first?” Jason wants the footage. They watch the initial lobby footage before the Henchman spray paint it. Spinelli wants to know Jason’s plan. Jason’s plan is simple: to get the hostages out by taking out the gunmen one by one. Spinelli says that’s less a plan than it is a suicide mission. What about Sonny’s men? There’s strength in numbers. Jason says that if they go in guns firing, hostages could get caught in the middle. His best bet is to go in alone and take them out by himself.

Metro Court – Outside, Lobby, Various Rooms
Luke tells Mac he’s going too slow. Mac threatens to arrest Luke if he goes in. Mac leaves. Luke says he doesn’t want Lulu’s life to hinge on police procedure and says he’s going in. He asks if Lucky’s with him. Lucky warns Luke that if he goes charging in, others could get shot. Luke says he can’t just stand there and do nothing. Lucky asks how it’s going to help Lulu if he gets killed. Luke tells Lucky to face the facts that the two of them are Lulu’s best hope.

Jason asks Spinelli when the vault will reopen. Spinelli says 5:27am. Jason thinks CJC will kill the hostages to cover his escape. He calls Skye to find out about Alcazar. She says he’s still in surgery. He wants a call when Alcazar wakes up. She tells him that she values Alcazar’s life over what’s in the vault. Monica overhears this.

Elizabeth says that Robin’s pressure is dropping so they need to elevate her legs. Nikolas props them up with couch pillows. Elizabeth says Robin’s losing a lot of blood. Emily says there’s not much she can do. CJC says he warned them about talking.

Sam tells Lulu that they can’t just wait for the police to rescue us. Lulu wonders what they can do. Sam says there’s a door to the outside in the employee break-room. Lulu’s in.

Carly tells Sonny to shut up because there’s no way she’s letting him risk his life for her. He says that the Boys need her. She says they need him too. CJC shoots at them. He says there’s entirely too much talking. He’ll refresh their memories. Cooperate or die. If they are forced to cut their losses, they’ll repay in kind by blowing up the lobby. “Your ability to follow directions will save your lives.”

Jason says that the cops will try to negotiate and after that, they’ll send in a tactical team. CJC will panic and kill the hostages. Spinelli says they have to warn the cops. He knows Jason has an allergic reaction to law enforcement but people’s lives are at stake. Jason spots Ric and pulls Spinelli behind some steps to hide.

Ric asks Mac how it’s going. Mac tells him about Robin and says there’s been no word about the others. Ric asks how Mac’s holding up. Mac says no good. He’s not sure he can do this. What if he says or does something and Robin doesn’t make it out? Ric says he’ll take over. Mac looks at him and tells him that there are lives at stake so “don’t screw it up.” HA!!

CJC says he and his friends have their exit strategy. He asks Sonny if he’s conversant in explosives. Sonny says he never graduated high school so he’s unclear on the meaning of the word conversant. CJC tells him to guess. Sonny “guesses” that there’s enough plastique to blow the place sky high. CJC says it’ll be interesting to see how structurally sound the hotel is. Carly whispers that she knows his voice. Sonny says they’ve got 12 hours to figure it out and not shake CJCs confidence. Let him think he’s in control.

Phone rings. CJC says that will be the negotiator. He lets the phone rings and decides to play another game instead. He’s going to pair off the hostages randomly. At the end of each hour, the hostage without a partner loses. Lulu asks what he does when the hostage count is an even number? CJC rewards her with 20 points for her excellent question. He has to get rid of someone. He points a gun at Elizabeth and says he’ll start with her. He pulls her away. Nikolas says that he’ll take Elizabeth’s place. CJC tells him to sit down or else. He starts pairing them off.

Nikolas and Lulu. She asks where they took Elizabeth. Nikolas doesn’t know.

Sam and Fr. Ruiz. She tells him he should’ve minded his own business early. He asks where that would’ve left her. Sam: “What do you care?” Fr. Ruiz: “I wouldn’t do anything to harm you.” She asks if he would harm the bad guys. She says he knew how to fight once before; he might have to again.

Emily gets paired with Sonny and Carly with Robin. Carly protests. She’s not a doctor, she doesn’t know how to help Robin. CJC says it’ll be amusing to watch her try. Marty is paired with FDC. Where’s Eddy the Bellhop? And while I’m asking, when they played the name game earlier, why didn’t Maxie have to think of a name? I would’ve been interested in hearing what she chose for herself. Max is the odd man out. CJC tells a Henchman to take care of him. Carly says she can’t help Robin without Max’s help. CJC okays this. Max thanks Carly.

Sonny asks Emily how Robin is. She says Robin will bleed to death if they don’t get her out of there.

Phone rings again. CJC says it’s probably Mac, calling for an update on his niece. Nope. It’s Ric. Ric says he’s in a better position to help CJC. CJC says he’ll think about what needs they have and call back. He hangs up.

Ric tells Mac that CJC doesn’t sound panicked. If he’s not panicked, there’s no incentive to negotiate.

Jason tells Spinelli that Ric might be doing damage control for Alcazar. Spinelli asks how. He could sacrifice the hostages so that no one can get the case. Spinelli doesn’t think Ric’s bad enough to hurt the hostages. Yes, yes he is. Ric doesn’t have one redeeming bone in his body. And while I’m on the subject of Ric, why is he doing the hostage negotiations? If PC has friggin’ SWAT, then they can certainly have a hostage negotiator. Jason says he’s not waiting to find out and he and Spinelli leave. I know I’ve probably said it before but Spinelli never goes anywhere under his own steam. Someone’s either pulling or pushing him towards a destination.

Cruz tells Ric that the press overheard the news about Robin being shot so they want a statement. Ric tells Cruz to say that they’re working to secure the release. Ric asks a SWAT guy how long it will take to fill the lobby with tear gas. Not long. Ric thinks it may just rattle CJC’s cage.

Luke asks Lucky if he’s willing to do something to trust Lulu’s life to Ric. Luke knows the hotel. He did construction when it was being built. He just needs Lucky to run interference.

A Henchman puts Elizabeth in a room with Alan. Alan’s not looking so hot.

CJC moves FDC to Fr. Ruiz. Sam offers to help with Robin. CJC say he’ll keep her in mind. She knows she’s heard his voice somewhere.

Lulu tells Nikolas now is a good time to make a move. Nikolas tells her to stay put. She starts inching away.

Carly says that the rag is soaked through. Max takes off his coat. Emily calls out that they have to put the coat on top of the rag so that Robin’s blood will clot. CJC tells Emily not to do that again. Sonny tells Emily she has to be ready to slip out in a moment’s notice. Emily says she’s not leaving. Sonny says someone has to tell the cops about the explosives.

Patrick asks Ric about Robin. Ric says there’s no news. He caves to Patrick’s insistence on calling for a progress report. CJC: “When I say I’ll get back to you, you don’t call again.” Ric asks about Robin. CJC says she’s still bleeding and breathing. Ric asks to let them take her out of there. CJC says he’s grown attached to the hostages and that he’ll call them, not the other way around. Ric tells Patrick that CJC doesn’t care if Robin lives or dies.

Lulu starts inching around the round settee. CJC and a Henchman trap her between them. CJC asks where she was going. She says she needed water. He points a gun at her. Carly jumps up and distracts CJC by saying that she can’t do this anymore. She’s not a doctor. She doesn’t even like Robin and yet she’s covered in her contaminated blood. CJC asks if she has a pulse. Max says he doesn’t know. Carly wants Emily’s help. CJC calls Emily over. He asks her to say pretty please. She does. He asks what he’ll get in return. Nikolas jumps up but Sonny grabs him and pulls him away. Lulu apologizes and begs him not to hurt her brother. CJC says hot headedness runs in the family. Emily says Nikolas was acting on impulse because he was afraid CJC was going to hurt her. CJC wants to know if she thought he was going to hurt her. She asks which answer will save Nikolas. CJC says good answer. He pushes Lulu over to Carly and Max and Nikolas stays with Sonny. CJC says he and Emily are going to finalize the details.

In the hallway, Emily asks what CJC’s doing. He asks her how far she’s willing to go for Robin. She says he has to let Robin go. CJC says he doesn’t have to do anything. He pushes her into the room with Alan and Elizabeth. Emily rushes to Alan’s side. He’s dizzy and short of breath. Alan asks about Robin and wants Emily to go back out there and help her. CJC says only one of them can return. Elizabeth says she’ll go back out front so that Emily can be with her dad. Elizabeth and CJC leave. Emily asks Alan if he’s feeling pain in his chest. He is. Emily thinks he might be having a heart attack.

Cruz and Lucky discuss entry options. Lucky sees Luke putting on SWAT gear. Lucky tells Luke to stop and walk away. Luke won’t. They argue. Ric comes up to see Luke in SWAT gear and has Cruz arrest Luke.

Patrick tells Ric to negotiate for Robin.

Elizabeth gets paired with Sam.

Phone rings. Ric tells CJC that he’s looking at murder with special circumstances if Robin dies. Ric proposes an alternative. CJC says he’s listening. Patrick grabs the phone from Ric and starts rattling off supplies. CJC says that’s too much stuff and hangs up.

Nikolas asks about Emily. CJC taunts him by asking about Emily naked. Nikolas swears he’ll kill CJC. Sonny wants to talk to CJC alone. CJC agrees and tells Henchman to take Sonny to another room and make him comfortable. I think that’s a bad idea. Sonny’s the only one who’s been able to keep CJC calm and make sure no one else gets too eager-beaver.

Lulu apologizes to Carly.  Carly reassures Lulu that she was just trying to help.  Carly then whispers to Robin that she’s not going to die.  There’s no way she’s letting people say that Robin died in her hotel.  She tells Robin to suck it up and live.    

Patrick runs to the building. The SWAT and Cops take aim but Ric tells them to hold on. This might be the kick start they need.

Sam asks Elizabeth where they took her. To an office down the hall past the boutique. Are there Henchmen? No. Sam says the boutique manager left her cell phone with Sam and it’s in the top drawer of the front desk. Elizabeth’s all “No way! They’ll kill you!” CJC says there’s too much chatter and grabs Sam’s arm. He says it’s time for a time-out. Sam manages to grab his mask and rip it off. I was torn between this action. On one hand, it was pretty AWESOME for her to do that. On the other hand, it was kind of stupid because now that they can identify him, he’s got a lot to lose and not a lot of incentive to keep them alive. And considering how blasé he was about shooting Robin, he’s certainly not going to have any qualms about shooting anyone else.
