–part of Carly’s vows.
Recaplet for Friday, April 27, 2007:
Today is all about Carly’s wedding:
- Lulu catches the bouquet. Jason catches the garter.
- After attending the wedding and wishing Jax and Carly well, Sonny goes to a hotel, gets drunk and calls for a hooker. Amelia 2.0 shows up instead.
- Jax is talking to Jerry 2.0 on the phone and realizes that Jerry 2.0 is at the reception because he can hear the same music over the phone.
Rice Manor
Carly is ready to walk down the aisle. Sonny shows up. Carly freezes. Sonny walks past Carly into the ballroom. Everyone stares. Sonny sits down. Jerry 2.0 watches from outside.
Jason tells Carly to breathe. He asks what she wants to do. She wants to marry Jax. The Bridal Chorus starts. Jason walks her down the aisle. The wedding starts. Rev. Wilson goes through the whole “Dearly Beloved” section. There are a lot of sidelong glances between couples. Jason looks at Sam. Emily looks at Nikolas. Patrick looks at Robin. When Rev. Wilson gets to the “speak now or forever hold your peace” part, Alexis sneaks a look at Sonny (as does probably everyone else).
Outside in the garden, Lulu berates the 3ooges for making her miss Carly’s wedding because of their antics. She accuses them of acting like a bunch of pre-schoolers fighting over who gets to sleep next to her at nap time. Lulu: “Actually, that’s an insult to pre-schoolers!” The 3ooges start to fight. Lulu screams at them. Enough! She’s not here with any of them. She doesn’t want to be with any of them.
Inside, Rev. Wilson is getting his wedding on. Do you take this person to be your blah blah blah?
Outside on the patio, Elizabeth is walking around. A waiter asks if he can help her with anything. She just needs to walk a bit. The waiter understands because his wife was the same way. He leaves. She’s standing very close to where Jerry 2.0 is hiding. The waiter brings her back some water. She goes back inside.
Outside in the garden, Spinelli is concerned that Lulu doesn’t want to date any of them. Lulu points out that the whole thing is dumb. Dillon says it was her idea. Lulu says it was dumb. She’s never had a boyfriend so she tried to be fair but they are treating her like she’s a prize to be won and the end of a game show. Today is supposed to be about Jax and Carly. The 3ooges promise not to fight anymore. Lulu tells them all to go back inside before they miss the whole wedding.
Jax and Carly are saying their vows. Elizabeth comes back inside and sits down, but not without giving Sonny a strange look first.
Jerry 2.0 is looking in on the vows. He hears the 3ooges and Lulu coming so he bends down to tie his shoe. Spinelli stops and asks “Dude, do I know you?” Lulu hauls him away.
They get inside as Jax and Carly exchange rings. Rev. Wilson pronounces them husband and wife. Jax and Carly kiss. The Wedding March plays as they walk back down the aisle.

It’s Reception Time!
Lady Jane and Bobbie walk back to their table. Lady Jane says she thought Michael and Morgan would be in the wedding. Bobbie says Carly didn’t want to make it harder on them. The camera pans past Sonny, Michael and Morgan at their table to the Qs, seated at the next table.
Ned tells Alice and Edward to pay up. Monica asks if they were betting on this wedding. Ned says he figured Sonny would do the right thing and let Jax and Carly get married. Monica wishes she could’ve gotten in on that action. The camera pans over to the next table, which is where Sam and Jason are sitting.
Sam is glad that Jason showed up. She knows it must not be easy for him to stand up there and watch his best friend marry Jax. For those not playing along at home, Jason was in love with Courtney (Sonny’s half sister) who eventually broke it off with Jason to be with AJ, Jax, and Nikolas (over the course of a couple of years). Then Sam was with Jax and Sonny before moving on to Jason. She says that Sonny’s not taking it so well. Jason goes over to check on them.
Sonny and The Boys are discussing Carly and Jax. Jason walks over. Sonny just looks at Jason and takes The Boys to get some punch. Alexis walks over to Jason and tells him it’s time to announce the Bride and Groom. They both just stand there. Alexis finally says he needs to do it because she just doesn’t want to do it. He asks why they can’t just walk in. Alexis: “You are such a baby.” She announces Carly and Jax. They come in. Alexis hugs and kisses Jax. She air-kisses Carly. hee! Alexis announces that they’ll now dance.
Alexis walks over to Sam’s table and sits down. They discuss her tv career. Sam tells Alexis she looks amazing. Alexis just got finished with her last round of chemo and she’s glad. Sam tells her to use her new found energy to focus on something positive.
Sonny and Michael are at the punch bowl. Emily comes up. Michael says hi. In every scene that this kid has where he has to say hi to someone, he always sounds surprised to see them and his “hello” or “hi” comes out in kind of a question form. It’s an odd tic that is really starting to bother me. Emily asks Sonny how he’s doing. He’s okay.
Lulu watches Carly and Jax dance. Spinelli is watching Lulu. He has a very elaborate fantasy about him and Lulu dancing at their wedding. It ends before he gets a chance to kiss her.
Carly and Jax’s first dance ends.
Outside, Robin and Patrick meet at the gazebo. They kiss. I miss you. I miss you too. Robin says they can’t meet in public. Patrick is pretty sure Jerry 2.0 isn’t going to be there with a set of candlesticks and best wishes. They kiss some more.
Edward harangues Dillon into asking Lulu to dance. Lulu does so just to get Edward off Dillon’s back. Spinelli and Milo look on.
Carly dances with The Boys. Sonny looks on. He then gets up and leaves.
Milo cuts in on Dillon and Lulu. Dillon protests but Lulu says it’s only fair that Milo gets a dance.
Carly is giving Michael and Morgan back to Letecia to take home. Are The Boys staying with Bobbie then? Because I can’t believe that they’d just leave The Boys with the Nanny when both Grandmothers (Bobbie and to an extent, Lady Jane) and the Father is around. Granted, Sonny’s throwing himself a little pity party, but still. Carly is looking for Morgan’s jacket. Michael says he thought he saw it outside. Carly goes to get it.
Edward asks Jason why he’s not dancing. Jason says he doesn’t like to dance. Edward says he used to. Monica tells Edward to cut it out. Jason is glad Monica came. Monica tells him she has her moments where things seem normal. Jason says that someone wants to talk to them and he leads both Monica and Edward over to Michael and Morgan. Michael greets them as Grandma and Grandpa. awww. Edward comments on how both Boys are getting bigger. Monica tells Michael and Morgan they look dashing and that Carly looked beautiful. Michael says that Monica looks pretty too. awww.
Carly runs into Sonny out on the patio. He tells her that she was always a beautiful bride. She thanks him for showing up because it really helped The Boys. She tells him that he’ll find someone who won’t drive him crazy and who will love him the way he deserves to be loved. He tells her to be happy. Carly makes this scrunchy face to keep from crying and then composes herself. Jax comes out on to the patio. He thanks Sonny for coming. Sonny congratulates them and he and Jax shake hands. Sonny leaves. Jax asks if Carly is okay. Carly is better than okay. She loves him.
Patrick and Robin are still at the gazebo and they’re still kissing. They make plans to meet in the supply closet at GH.
Bobbie comes over and tells Jason that it’s customary for the Best Man to dance with the Mother of the Bride. If that’s the case, then Bobbie needs to go dance with Alexis since Alexis was the Best Man because he stood up with the Groom. Jason was the Maid of Honor. Jason says he doesn’t dance. Bobbie says it’s okay and walks back to her table. In the background, Sam is doing some weird ass dancing that isn’t matching with what everyone else is doing. And I can’t see who she’s dancing with either. I think it’s Spinelli but I’m not sure. I’ve been on enough movie and tv sets during my stint as an extra (during college) that they don’t play music during the scenes and add it in later. However, whoever is in charge of adding the music later didn’t do such a great job because they added a light piano melody and Sam is clearly dancing to the music in her own mind.
Carly thanks Stan and Max for coming. Stan was happy to come but he was sure why he was invited. Carly says because they’re like family and because she wanted to make sure Sonny didn’t pull anything. She asks them to look out after Sonny.
Milo’s dancing with Lulu. He, much like Sam was earlier, is dancing to the music in his own mind. Spinelli cuts in but the music ends about 2 steps into the dance. Dillon tries to dance with her again. Spinelli protests. Lulu walks away.
Carly and Jax cut the cake.
Nikolas asks Robin to arrange for Emily to meet him at the gazebo.
Carly tosses the bouquet. It is clearly headed towards Robin but she smoothly steps out of the way and Lulu catches it. This excites the 3ooges.
Next, it’s time for the garter toss. Jax throws it and it lands on Jason’s table.
Robin fixes her lipstick at a mirror behind Emily. She tells Emily that someone wants to meet her at the gazebo.
Jax and Lady Jane talk. Jax wishes Jerry 2.0 had shown up. Lady Jane says it’s his loss.
Jason gives the garter to Spinelli. Sam is amused and chugging back the champagne.
The Boys hug Carly and Jax goodbye and leave with Letecia.
Lulu walks up to the bartender and asks if he cards. Bartender is sorry but he does. The 3ooges descend on Lulu. She tells them that they’re embarrassing her and to leave her alone. She leaves. To the Bartender, the 3ooges ask “Do you card?” Isn’t Milo over 21? I would think that to be a licensed gun toting bodyguard, you’d have to be of age. Maybe 18 is the okay age.
Emily walks outside towards the gazebo. Nikolas waits all of 3 seconds and then walks out after her.
Jax’s cell phone rings. Carly is offended that he has it on. He says it might be Jerry 2.0. He takes the call outside on the patio.
Elizabeth runs into Jason out in the vestibule area. They talk about the baby. Carly interrupts and makes Jason dance with her.
At the gazebo, Emily and Nikolas kiss.
Carly knows that Jason doesn’t like to dance but it’s her day and she gets to have what she wants. Jason asks how that’s different from any other day. Carly thanks him for being her best friend. Elizabeth watches them dance, and rubs her belly. Sam watches Elizabeth and drinks more champagne.
Jax is outside on the patio talking to Jerry 2.0. Jerry 2.0 is on the patio, hiding behind shrubbery. Jax hears the music from inside coming through on Jerry 2.0’s phone and thinks he’s there. He tells Jerry 2.0 to show himself.
McHotel – Room 917
Sonny orders a bottle of scotch from room service. He then gets on his cell and orders a hooker named Eva. He takes a drink. There’s a knock on his door. He opens it up. It’s Amelia 2.0.
Pier
Lulu almost walks into a gunfight between Logan and some of Alcazar’s Goons.
