Recaplet for Wednesday, Arpil 25, 2007:

• Carly: Where is Jason? Marriage is doomed if Jason isn’t here.
  Spinelli: He took off.
  Carly: This is Sonny’s fault.
  [later]
  Jax: Where is Jason? He’s not a good friend if he’s not there for Carly.
  Spinelli: He went out of town.
  Jax: This is Sonny’s fault.
• Emily: Tell me the truth.
  Nikolas: I don’t love you.
  Emily: But I LOOOOOOVE you.
  Robin: Go away. He doesn’t love you.
  Emily: You both suck!
  CJC/Jerry: Intern Emily gives such good performances. Which one of you couldn’t keep your mouth shut?
• Lady: Florist?
  Logan: Whatevs.
  Lulu: Asshole.
  Logan: Whatevs.
• Sonny: You’ll be the bestest cop in the world, got it? You work double hard to impress Ric, but we both know you’ll be working double-hard.
  GH Writer: Oh my god! Did you guys love that pun? Aren’t I just the most cleverest writer on this show?
  3oop: I’m like 3 feet taller than this guy and I was a soldier in Iraq. I could totally take him yet I feel compelled to act like I’m intimidated by him. Why is that?
  GH Writer: Shut up! Why isn’t everyone laughing over my superb pun?!?

Rice Manor
Jamry (My new name for James/Jerry) is listening outside the door. Lady Jane tells Jax he’s a good son and she hopes Carly knows how lucky she is. Jax always makes family a priority. Too bad Jerry’s not the same. Jax defends Jerry, saying that he would be at the wedding if he could. Lady Jane says that Jerry is selfish and he won’t change. Jax says that Jerry won’t settle down because he likes the thrill of the chase, but at the end of the day, it’s hollow. Lady Jane says that Jerry gets wilder as he gets older and nothing matters to him except Jax.

Penthouse
Carly is freaking out about Jason not being in town. Spinelli assures her that Jason would never sabotage her nuptials. Carly blames Sonny. Spinelli assures her that Sonny had nothing to do with it. Carly says that Sonny tricked her into marrying him and now he’s trying to mess with her wedding. Lulu doesn’t get why Jason has to be there. Carly says that Jason’s been at the wedding’s that have lasted, so she can’t get married without him. She starts to leave. Lulu asks about the rehearsal. Carly says she’ll be late because she’s got to go strangle Sonny and then go pick up Jax’s rehearsal gift. Lulu offers to go get the gift. Carly leaves. Lulu tells Spinelli to call Jason or else there won’t be a wedding. Lulu leaves.

Not Starbucks – Office
Sonny is laying down the law to 3oop. He will be a model cop. He will do everything his superiors tell him to do. He will volunteer for everything. He will follow the letter of the law. He will bust every criminal that crosses his path. 3oop asks what he should do if he has to arrest Sonny or any of his associates. Sonny tells him to do it. Max comes in. Sonny tells 3oop that he’s only to talk to Max from now on. Since they worked together at McHotel, it won’t be a stretch for anyone, especially Ric, to believe that they stayed friends. Max says that 3oop knows the deal. 3oop says that Max will be the one to screw it up. Max tells Sonny that 3oop needs to pay for what he did. Sonny calms Max down and says that this is 3oop’s chance to prove his usefulness. 3oop is clear on his role. 3oop leaves. He runs into Maxie in the Café. She asks why he was in Sonny’s office.

Wyndemere – Study
Nikolas is very on edge. Emily wants to know what’s going on. She loves him and she can help him. Nikolas calls down to have the launch ready. He dismisses Emily and tells her that if she really loved him, she’d stay away from him. Alexis comes in. Nikolas says Emily was just leaving. Emily insists that she wasn’t. Alexis asks after Jamry. Emily wants to know who that is. Nikolas says it’s a business associate of his. Alexis would like Jamry to be her escort to Jax and Carly’s wedding. Nikolas is dead set against that. He makes all kinds of lame excuses why Jamry can’t go. Alexis says that she’s a bald, divorced mother of 2 and that Jamry has seen her at her worst and not judged. She gives Nikolas a written message for Jamry and leaves. Emily asks if Jamry is the reason Nikolas is shutting her out of his life. Nikolas says that nothing has anything to do with why he broke it off with her and that she needs to show a little dignity and leave. She slaps him.

McLobby
Robin is on the phone with Patrick. She tells him that they have to be extra careful because Emily saw them at GH yesterday. She tells him that she needs to go back to Wyndemere before Jamry gets suspicious. Why is Robin at McHotel to begin with?

Penthouse
Spinelli leaves a message for Jason. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Jax. He’s looking for Jason. Spinelli asks who he is. Jax tells him. Spinelli refers to Jax as the White Knight. Jax is all “pardon?” Spinelli clears it up by saying that he knows that Jax is Carly’s love. Jax asks who Spinelli is. Spinelli says he’s the Jackal. Jax is all “riiiiight. Hey where’s Jason?” Spinelli says that Jason went out of town. Jax blames Sonny. Spinelli points out that this isn’t some nefarious plot by Sonny. Jason wanted to clear out his mind so he left. Jax says that Jason’s first loyalty is always to Sonny and he’s a bad friend. Spinelli defends Jason and says that if Carly knew that he was talking bad about Jason, she wouldn’t marry him. Jax tells him that he’s a confused kid who probably spends way too much time on the Internet. He tells Spinelli to tell Jason that if he’s a true friend, he’ll be there to walk Carly down the aisle. He leaves. Spinelli picks up the tux and ponders his next move.

Not Starbucks – Café & Office
3oop tells Maxie that he was on what they call in the Army a reconnaissance mission. Maxie doubts he’d be lucky enough to catch Sonny doing anything illegal before he even makes it into the Police Academy. My gosh, 3oop really is a bad liar. What the hell kind of lame excuse was that? And why the hell did a fantastic liar like Maxie buy that? Dude. All 3oop had to say was that Sonny wanted to thank 3oop for his part in helping that day at The Cellar.

Carly comes storming in, past Max (why is Max still there? I can understand if maybe Sonny summoned him to keep him in the 3oop loop, but why is he standing guard outside the Office? He’s not Sonny’s bodyguard anymore.) and into Sonny’s office. She starts yelling at him for lying and saying he was happy for her and then pulling this. Sonny’s blindsided. Carly can’t believe he won’t come clean about sending Jason out of town. Sonny says he didn’t. Carly says that Jason wouldn’t just leave before her wedding. Sonny says that he doesn’t control Jason. Carly gets petulant and says that she doesn’t need Jason there. She’ll marry Jax without it. Her wedding will be just fine. She starts to leave, but the door handle falls off. Carly, accusingly: “You did this on purpose!”

McLobby
A Woman asks Logan where a florist shop is. Logan is rude. Lulu helps the woman out and then tells Logan to just quit if he hates the job so much. Logan says that Sonny got him the job and that it would be disrespectful to turn it down. Lulu wants to know why he wants to work for Sonny so much. Logan says it never hurts to have a powerful ally. Lulu asks if he likes being shot at. Logan says no. He hated being a soldier but he was good at it and he can make money doing it. Lulu tells him good luck with that and leaves.

Wyndemere – Study
Nikolas tells Emily that he doesn’t love her anymore. He’s sorry that she’s having trouble accepting it. Emily says that Nikolas is deliberately trying to hurt her so she knows that he’s lying to her. Robin comes in and tells Emily to stop deluding herself. Stop showing up at Wyndemere and trying to convince everyone that Nikolas is still in love with her. Jamry is watching. Robin tells Emily to leave before she embarrasses herself any further. Emily says that she was willing to cut them both some slack because of the McHostage situation but she can’t believe they’re both sticking to this. She leaves. Jamry comes out of hiding and Bravo!s Emily’s performance. But he wonders why Emily came back. Did Patrick and Robin mess up? Robin says that she and Patrick have been belligerent towards each other in public. Jamry not convinced. Nikolas says that Emily has faith in him. Jamry says that it was Nikolas’ fault that they had to go through this and that Robin and Patrick got pulled in. He was fine with Emily being brought into the mix. Nikolas apologizes to Robin for being stuck with Jamry. He walks out. Jamry thinks Nikolas should let bygones be bygones.

Not Starbucks and Everyday Heroes Set
Sonny calls the set and tries to get a hold of Sam. AArun tells Sonny that Sam’s on location. Sonny wants the number. AArun can’t give that information out. Sonny wants to speak with someone in charge. AARun puts him on hold and tells Amelia 2.0 that Sonny’s calling for Sam. Amelia 2.0 tells AArun to tell Sonny that Sam’s busy and so is she. AArun tells Sonny that Amelia 2.0 is in a meeting and that she’ll call him back. He hangs up. Sonny isn’t pleased. AArun tells Amelia 2.0 that he hopes she knows what she’s doing. She says she’s not scared of Sonny. AArun leaves. Amelia spills coffee on her shirt.

McLobby
Ric runs into Alcazar. He hopes Alcazar had a good lunch. Ric asks about the 2 TWBT who tried to kill Jason and Sam. Alcazar feigns innocence. Ric wonders who did order the hit then. Skye? Alcazar says Skye wouldn’t do that. Ric tells him he can play the idiot as long as he wants but eventually Sonny and Jason will figure it out and when they do, retribution will be a bitch. Not to mention the fact that the longer he plays dumb, Skye walks around with a target on her back. You can see Logan lurking in the background. Alcazar says that Skye is the mother of his child and he won’t let anything happen to her. He knows that Ric is jealous of Sonny and tells Ric not to pretend to be on the right side of the law when he wants Sonny dead just as much as Alcazar does. Alcazar leaves. Ric goes the other direction. Logan stands there. Maxie and 3oop saw him and bust him about eavesdropping. Logan asks why he’d eavesdrop. Maxie figures that it’s to get information to give to Sonny and score points with him. 3oop asks why Logan wants to get involved with Sonny. Logan says that 3oop may be content with trading one uniform for 2 others but Logan isn’t. Maxie can’t believe that his goal is to be a gangster. Logan says that he wants money and power. 3oop says that Logan has a chance at a new start so why screw it up by getting mixed up in that life. Logan is done playing by someone else’s rules. 3oop tells him that’s stupid. He has to go to registration for the police academy so he leaves. Logan warns Maxie not to start on him. Maxie, in a surprising moment of lucidity and foresight, tells Logan that she gets the whole money and power thing but sometimes, it’s hard to tell that you’ve gone to far until it’s too late.

Rice Manor
This whole scene was pretty funny.
Alexis comes in and Jax introduces her to Rev. Wilson. In another part of the room, Lulu runs in and sees Bobbie and Lady Jane. She thought she was going to be late because she was stuck in traffic. Bobbie tells her that Carly’s not there yet. Lulu says that Carly had to run an errand but she’ll be there. Bobbie knows better and tells Lulu to spill. Lulu tells Bobbie and Lady Jane about Jason’s disappearance. Lady Jane is confused. Bobbie explains that Jason is Carly’s good luck charm. Carly shows up. They get started. Rev. Wilson asks if Carly is going to have someone walk her down the aisle. She said she was but the plans changed. Spinelli makes his presence known. He’s channeling his inner Stone Cold with the slicked back hair (see how much better he looks when his hair is combed? how long have I been bitching about his hair? and we all see that I’m right!) and is dressed in the tux jacket Carly left for Jason. Everyone’s bemused. Jax: “I didn’t realize the Joker was part of the wedding party.” Carly: “the Jackal.” Spinelli says he’s there to fill in for Jason. Carly says that she made her peace with it and doesn’t need Jason. Lulu jumps up and tells Carly quietly that Spinelli’s trying to help and it’ll hurt his feelings if he can’t help. They all turn to look at Spinelli, who’s trying to get the frowning thing Jason does, on his face. Carly says okay. Spinelli: “Righteous.” Rev. Wilson tells them to go to the back of the room. Spinelli walks her down the aisle. Rev. Wilson goes through the rest of the ceremony. When he gets to the “speak now or forever hold your piece” part, Alexis coughs. Carly tells her to get it out of her system. Alexis worries that Carly is still in love with Sonny. Jax tells her she’s not helping matters. Lulu and Spinelli both defend Carly’s love for Jax. Jax tells Alexis to leave if she can’t support him. Alexis says she’ll be good and won’t say another word. Rev. Wilson goes through the rest of the rehearsal.

Everyday Heroes Set
Amelia 2.0 is changing her shirt in the little makeshift wardrobe area when Sonny comes in, pushing past clothes. He needs to find Jason and Sam might know where he went. Amelia 2.0 says she won’t help. Sonny wants to know why. Amelia 2.0 says that it’s in Sam’s best interest that Jason stays gone. Sonny says that Jason’s been good to Sam. He loves her. How is he not good enough for her? Amelia 2.0 says that Sam can make her own way and doesn’t need a gangster boyfriend getting into shootouts on the set. Sonny asks if she told Jason that. Amelia 2.0 says yes. Sonny says that Amelia doesn’t know Sam as well as she thinks she does if she thinks Sam will give up Jason. Amelia 2.0 wants to know about Sam. Was she broke? Did Sonny pay her way? Sonny doesn’t get what all that has to do with anything. Amelia 2.0 says he was just curious. She’s glad he’s taking such an interest in his ex-wife’s wedding. She leaves.

Wyndemere – Somewhere Near the Launch
Nikolas is taking a breather. Emily comes up behind him. He gets jumpy and tells her to go. She won’t. He relents and tells her all about what’s happened. She wants to get him to GH. He says that Robin’s already tried. Emily says that she won’t leave him. Nikolas tells her that for her own safety, she has to. She tells him that they’ll get through this together. They kiss.

Rice Manor
Jax and Carly toast each other.

Wyndemere – Study
Jamry says that some people are too romantic for their own good and that Nikolas is in that category. Robin says that Jamry doesn’t make it easy for Nikolas. Jamry says he likes to test people’s limits. Nikolas needs to focus on the long term objective. Robin asks what Jamry’s long term objective is. Jamry: “Same as yours. To live happily every after with the people I care about and TO HELL WITH ANYONE WHO GETS IN THE WAY!!”
