Recaplet for Wednesday, March 28, 2007:
Maxie says she’ll help 3oop with the PCPD written exam.
Logan and Maxie send a blackmail demand to Scotty.
Lulu decides to go on a trial date with each of the 3ooges.

Kelly’s Diner
Elizabeth comes in with Cam. She orders a large chocolate milk and brownie for herself and then whatever Cam wants. She sees Lulu and asks if Lulu wants to come to the park with her and Cam. Lulu declines, indicating her book, saying that she’s behind in her studies. Where the hell is Pete? This whole Robin/Patrick storyline would be perfect for him. He could completely feed Patrick’s doubt. Elizabeth notes that Lulu went for a walk last night instead of having pizza with them. Lulu: “I needed the walk more than the pizza.” Elizabeth senses that Lulu is still angry about something and Elizabeth wants to know what it is. Lulu says it’s Scotty. Elizabeth doesn’t buy it and asks if Lulu resents her and Lucky. Lulu says that seeing Elizabeth and Lucky happy just means that she’s waiting for the other shoe to drop. Elizabeth says that Lulu can tell her if she’s upset. Lulu says that Elizabeth never does. She spent all that time making a break from Lucky and now she all of sudden turns around and loves him. Elizabeth says the McHostage situation put things in perspective for her. Lulu wonders if something major happens again that Elizabeth will change her mind. She thinks that isn’t fair to Lucky. And speak of the devil, Lucky walks in to Kelly’s, happy to see all the people he loves. Lulu snarkily mentions that their family owns the place so he’s bound to run into someone there. Lucky calls her Miss Cynical and asks if she’s going to the park with Elizabeth and Cam. Lulu says no. Elizabeth asks if he’s going to go with but Lucky has to deal with paperwork over the purse snatching, but he’s up for the noon childbirth class.

Penthouse
Jason comes in from “work.” He puts his gun in the lockbox but before he gets a chance to put the box away, there’s a knock at the door. It’s Amelia, with hair, make up and wardrobe people. Jason watches the hustle and bustle from a chair over by the pool table. Sam comes downstairs and is flabbergasted to see all the hubbub. She and Amelia discuss titles for the show. Jason decides to leave. He puts the lockbox back in the drawer and says goodbye to Sam. How much you wanna bet that the gun will go missing at some point and it will be Amelia who stole it? Amelia suggests an at-home segment but Sam says no way. Jason doesn’t figure into the show in any way, shape or form or Sam quits. Sam apologizes to Jason and he leaves.

GH – 7th Floor
Patrick compliments how good Alexis is looking. I don’t know if that’s her natural hair or if it’s a wig, but it does look much better than the other hair. Patrick asks how Nikolas is. Alexis says he’s fine as far as she knows. Patrick wants to know why Robin moved in with him all of a sudden. Alexis isn’t sure since Nikolas doesn’t do all of a sudden. Patrick says something is definitely wrong. Alexis wonders if Emily is living there too. Patrick isn’t sure. Alexis says that Nikolas has been acting strange lately so she’ll go check it out. In the meantime, Patrick should send flowers.

Wyndemere – Study
Nikolas comes in from his ride. Robin asks if he’s got any symptoms: shortness of breath, dizziness, heart palpitations. He says no. He’s fine until he’s not. Robin wishes she could get a sample of his blood to the lab. Nikolas is sorry that Robin had to get involved in this. Robin assures him that she’s glad she could be there for him. CJC walks in and thinks that they would do a great job of pretending to be in love. Robin and Nikolas are sitting on the couch. She scratches him with a thumbtack to get some blood. She reprimands CJC for already poisoning Nikolas; now he wants them to fake a romance? She leaves for GH. CJC throws the cell phone to Nikolas and tells him to get to work. He notices the scratch on his hand.

GH – 7th Floor
Noah and Monica are bemoaning the newest ER edict: no uninsured patients. Noah calls it bad medicine. Monica says Alan wouldn’t have stood for it and she won’t either when she’s Chief of Staff. Noah says that Russell’s got supporters so it’s possible that she won’t be CoS. Since when does Russell get to make arbitrary rules about who they can and can’t admit to the hospital? As far as my hospital bureacracy knowledge goes, I was under the impression that it was a decision that had to be made by the Board of Directors.

McLobby
Max tells 3oop that the lobby looks good considering CJC blew it up. 3oop tells him to shut it or risk exposing 3oop’s past and ruining Sonny’s plans. Max says that if 3oop screws up, Sonny will kill him. 3oop tells Max to soldier up and serve some time in Iraq and then threaten him. Max leaves. Maxie gives an outfit for a guest to FDC. He sees Scotty come in. Scotty asks 3oop if the cops were asking questions about Scott Baldwin. 3oop: “Why, Mr. Baldwin? Did you do something wrong?” Scotty looks a little taken aback that 3oop knows his name. 3oop explains that the police were there about a purse snatching. Scotty’s all “oh.” and then leaves. Maxie asks if Scotty suspects. 3oop says no, and warns Maxie about going through with it. Logan comes in and tells 3oop that he needs to focus on work and not hanging out talking to Maxie, so that Logan can get his job when he’s in the Academy. Maxie asks if Logan saw Scotty when he came in. Logan says no. Maxie says Scotty’s cracking and wonders if Logan’s okay with using Lulu. Logan says he wants the cash.

GH – 7th Floor
Robin rushes in to get the thumbtack to the lab. Patrick points out that she missed a consult. She says she’ll review the notes later. He snarks about her commute. Robin tells him it’s not his problem and to leave her alone. She asks Kavi, her favorite lab tech, to test the blood sample for anything and everything he can think of involving poisons. I would think that blood sample wouldn’t be enough to do any sort of testing other than DNA typing, but that’s just me. Patrick asks what she’s working on. She tells him to mind his business. Noah comes up and asks them to sign a petition about the newest ER edict and to attend the meeting. She signs the petition but can’t come to the meeting. Patrick wants to know what is going on.

Wyndemere – Study
Alexis comes to visit Nikolas. She wants to know what’s going on. He tells her that he and Emily are taking a break and so are Robin and Patrick and that Robin needed a place to stay. Alexis asks if he’s really okay because he’s not looking so hot. CJC comes in and says that it’s his fault. The deal he and Nikolas are working on is requiring Nikolas to burn the midnight oil. Alexis says that most of Nikolas’ associates don’t live with him during the deal. CJC says the deal is confidential. His phone rings, he answers it. Alexis asks how long the deal’s been in the works. Nikolas lies and says 6 months but since it stalled a bit with Spencer’s kidnapping, “Mr. Brosnan” wants to kick up the timetable. Alexis asks if he did a background check to make sure CJC isn’t working for Helena. Nikolas assures Alexis that Helena has nothing to do with this. Or does she? Rumor has it that CJC is the love child of Helena and Faison and that CJC shot Robin on purpose when he found out that Robin was a Scorpio.  CJC interrupts and says that Nikolas must take the call. Alexis leaves. She tries to listen in at the door but CJC closes it.

Not Starbucks – Office
Jason walks in to find Spinelli sitting at Sonny’s desk. Jason wants to know what’s going on. Spinelli says he needs privacy to delete the paternity test results. Jason wonders why Spinelli didn’t delete them when Jason told him to. Spinelli says that they were still debating the case when Sam walked in and so he held off in case Jason changed his mind. Jason tells Spinelli to delete it now. Spinelli does and assures Jason that no other proof exists. Spinelli asks if Jason wants to see an ultrasound or anything. Jason says that he can’t be connected to the baby in any way. Spinelli says okay and leaves. Jason leaves shortly after.

Penthouse
The makeover is going on. Sam’s not sure about the dress she’s wearing. Yeah, I’m not either. It makes her look pregnant.  Amelia blathers on about selling the “product.” Sam has to appeal to a mass audience. Guys have to want to see her on tv and Gals have to want to be like her. Sam asks what’s next on the list. Amelia wants to go over some ideas. There’s obviously a how to survive at sea segment that will use Sam’s background as a salvage diver, how to survive a hurricane, and one on women’s self defense. Basically, how a woman can defend herself without blowing someone away with a shotgun. Sam looks trouble by this and relives the memory. She tells Amelia she needs a minute and goes to the balcony for some air. Amelia watches her in the background.

Park
Jason comes up on Elizabeth pushing Cam on the swing. Elizabeth is having a hard time pushing Cam as high as he’d like because she’s pregnant. Jason asks if he can. Elizabeth says sure and watches them together. She gets teary eyed. Jason puts Cam on the blanket to play while Elizabeth pulls herself together. She’s emotional because she realizes that she’s taking away Jason’s right to be a father. He asks if she’s changing her mind. She says no, that she made the right choice. She and Cam leave.

Kelly’s Diner
Spinelli comes in and sees Lulu. He tries to cheer her up but she’s not in a good mood and tells him to stop with the “I, the Jackal” stuff. Lulu says that it would be so much easier to hate Elizabeth and trust that Lucky could handle the fallout from the truth. Spinelli assumes Lucky must have been out of control while he was on drugs. Lulu asks why he’d jump to the conclusion. Spinelli says that something big must have gone down to split up Sam and Jason. Lulu tells him that Sam slept with Ric. Spinelli looks ready to hurl. Once he gets past his gagging, he says that he figured something must have led them both to seek solace in each other’s arms. Lulu says it’s not even about the sex; it’s the lies, especially about the baby. She wants to do the right thing but she’s not sure what that is. Dillon comes in, sees that Lulu is sad, and gets on Spinelli’s case about it. Lulu says that they were talking about their “relationship.” Milo comes in and tells Lulu he’s okay with her dating the other 2 guys. This starts the 3ooges arguing about Lulu. Lulu tries to interrupt but Dillon tells her to hold that thought. Mike bangs some pot lids and tells them to shut up. He says that if he were Lulu, he wouldn’t date the lot of them, but it’s her choice. Lulu says that she’ll go on a trial date with each one of them. This starts the 3ooges on who gets the first date. Mike bangs the pot lids again. They’re going to do it the old fashioned way. He puts 10 pieces of paper, numbered 1 through 10, in a pot. They’ll each draw and whomever has the highest number gets the first date. Milo pulls first: 6. Dillon pulls next: 8. Spinelli tries to draw and Dillon and Milo smack his hands. Lulu, holding a wooden spoon, smacks them on the hands. Spinelli pulls: 2. She tells the 3ooges that there will be no more bickering in her presence. They all agree.

McLobby
Lucky tells 3oop that the purse snatcher was also running a credit card fraud ring so good work. He also heard that 3oop’s joining the PCDP. 3oop says he hopes so since he still has to pass the exam. Lucky leaves. Maxie tells him she can help him. She can get him a copy of the test. 3oop asks if she’s sure. She tells him to consider it done. Logan comes in and points out Scotty. Lulu and Logan go to sit on the couch while 3oop stays at his post. Scotty gets a text message: “Poor Rick Webber. 20 grand. small bills. pizza shack. Fri 6pm.”

Penthouse
Jason cautiously comes back in. Sam hugs him. She’s sorry about before. He’s okay with it. They kiss. There’s a knock on the door. It’s Amelia.

GH – 7th Floor
Lucky and Elizabeth walk to their childbirth class. See how clever the writers are! They let you know what time it was without actually telling you. But since they’re constantly messing with the timeline anyways, it really doesn’t matter what time it is, does it?
Robin asks Kavi if he’s gotten anything from the blood sample. Kavi says it would help to know what to look for. Robin says that he should look for a compound of poisons, possibly venoms.

Wyndemere – Study
Nikolas gets off the phone and tells CJC that the new news is that he and “his twin” were born in Russia, then moved to France and then to London. More information will be forthcoming in about a month. CJC says that it would go faster if an attorney got involved. How lucky that they have one. Nikolas won’t get Alexis involved, not with everything that’s happened to her. He points out that she’s already suspicious of CJC so it wouldn’t work. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Patrick. CJC hides. Patrick comes in and demands to know what’s going on with Nikolas and Robin. He won’t leave until he gets the answers he wants.
