Recaplet for Tuesday, March 27, 2007:
Maxie and Lulu get into a catfight.
Lulu tells the 3ooges that she can’t choose between them.
Sam takes the tv gig.
Jax/Carly/Sonny blah blah blah.

GH – 10th Floor
Patrick doesn’t get what Robin means when she says she had no choice. Robin tells him that he’s going to have to trust her on this. Patrick wants to know what’s going on with her and Nikolas. Why does she have to move to Wyndemere? Robin counters that Nikolas has the room, there are servants, she doesn’t have to buy furniture. Patrick says that the argument’s not holding water because he knows that she loves to buy furniture since she bought his. Robin tells him not to confuse needing to buy a couch to wanting to shop. Patrick suggest she move in with Lainey and Kelly and sleep on their sofa until she can find a real place to live. Robin tells Patrick to quit telling her what to do. Patrick says he’s just trying to get her to give him a reason that makes sense. What is she hiding? Robin says that he’s trying to make it something it’s not. Nikolas is a good friend, that’s all. He’s just too insecure to deal with it. Why did Patrick immediately go to the “they must be sleeping together” route when Robin told him that she was moving in with Nikolas? He knew they were friends, he knew she needed a place to live. Why go down the “the love of my life is a tramp” road?

Wyndemere – Study
Nikolas gets the counter agent away from CJC. He says that was too easy. Uh…yeah. That’s why you’re breathing like you just went 10 rounds with Ali. Also, wasn’t Nikolas some kind of martial arts expert? I seem to recall him and Stefan training all the time during their scenes together way back in the day. Nikolas should have been able to drop kick CJC during their “fight.”  CJC tells Nikolas that he can inject himself with the counteragent, be okay for the next 24 hours, while CJC leaves and lets Robin try to figure out the counteragent. However, that won’t happen in the next 24 hours and Nikolas will die. Or, Nikolas can give the counteragent back to CJC and live to see another day. Nikolas is getting weaker. He argues that the deal was to help CJC when only Nikolas was involved. Nikolas would rather die than get others involved. CJC says that Nikolas is lacking common sense. If Nikolas dies and takes CJC’s identity with him, Robin dies too. The clock is ticking.

McLobby
A guest checks in. He recognizes Sam from tv and calls her an inspiration. Amelia checks in. Sam tells her that she’s not interested. She asks Amelia how long she’s going to be there. Amelia says she’s not sure and that she’s going to do her best to convince Sam that this is a good opportunity. Sam tells her that Amelia wanted Sam for this gig before any of the research came through so what gives? Amelia says she’s got good instincts. Marty’s all “Bitch, get over yourself and tend to the other guests.”

Not Starbucks – Office
Jason walks in on Carly and Sonny kissing. They break apart. He looks at them both, sighs in disgust, and walks back out. Carly decides to leave too. Sonny protests and asks why she’s leaving, she tells him to ask Jason.

Kelly’s Diner
Maxie’s all “Stay away from my man!” Lulu’s all “Didn’t see a sign on him.” Lulu tells 3oop to pay attention because now he’ll see Maxie’s true colors. Maxie asks where Lulu gets off judging her. Lulu says that Maxie’s a liar. Maxie counters that Lulu is too and that at least Maxie didn’t abort a baby because it was too much trouble. Lulu pisses Lulu off and she clocks Maxie. This starts a semi-catfight that gets broken up by 3oop and Logan, with 3oop pulling Maxie to her corner and Logan hauling Lulu off to her corner.
Lulu’s all “what the hell?” and tells Logan to mind his business. He doesn’t know her and she doesn’t need him to protect her. She stalks off towards the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Maxie can’t believe 3oop pulled her away from Lulu and wants to know why he was talking to Lulu. 3oop says that he spilled coffee on her and was apologizing. He’s got bigger problems that her little tiff with Lulu. Logan comes up and asks if there’s trouble in paradise already. Maxie explains that 3oop’s going to be a cop. Logan thinks it’s a good idea. Then he can get Logan his job at the McHotel. Maxie can’t believe that Logan’s worried about a job. 3oop says that he made it through Iraq. Maxie tells him he got lucky. 3oop says he’s not going to argue about it and leaves. Maxie asks if Logan put him up to this. Logan says he had nothing to do with it. Maxie says she’ll get to the bottom of it. She leaves.

McLobby
Jax greets FDC. He asks her if she’s got any jitters from the McHostage situation. She says that she’s good. He gives an interview to Jim Harlow from WLPC news. Jim then wants to interview Sam. Jax okays it. Sam’s not so sure. Marty says he’ll cover. Wasn’t Marty the one who was all in her face earlier about talking to Amelia?
While Sam’s giving her interview, Carly comes in and apologizes for being late. She notices that WLPC is there and says that they should make a statement. Jax tells her he already did and that now they’re interviewing Sam. Carly whines that Jax shouldn’t have let her be interviewed. Jax asks why. Carly says that all they’ll do is play the footage of Sam jumping off the ledge and that’s not the image they want to portray. Carly makes a snarky comment about Sam’s 15 minutes of fame.  And here we go with the descent of Carly now hating Sam. Carly’s issue with other women is that she dislikes them because they get more respect than her. She tolerates Sam because: a) Jason loves her; and b) no one in town really respects her. The problem is that 3 of the men Carly loves (Sonny, Jax, and Jason) actually do respect Sam.

Penthouse
Jason flashes back to his conversation with Elizabeth on the Bridge about letting Lucky be the father of the baby. Sonny comes over. He wants to know why Carly’s upset and Carly told him to ask Jason. Jason tells him about Carly sleeping with Jax. Sonny doesn’t know what he’s supposed to do with that information. Jason tells Sonny that maybe sleeping with Jax is Carly’s way of ending it with Sonny.

PCPD
3oop picks up a pacifier. Ric says he’s always got at least 3 on him and thanks 3oop. 3oop asks for Cruz. He tells Cruz and Ric that he wants to join the PCPD. Maxie’s hanging around in the background.

Kelly’s Diner
Lulu asks Logan what the deal is with him and Maxie. Logan says he knows her through 3oop. Lulu wonders why he’s always around. Logan tells her that she keeps dragging her drama through his life. Wow, someone’s got a really skewed perspective on things.  Milo walks in and asks Lulu if everything’s okay. Lulu says that Logan was just leaving. Logan asks if Milo’s her babysitter. Lulu says he’s her boyfriend. Milo = floaty cartoon hearts. Logan says he didn’t peg Milo as her type. Dillon walks in and tells Milo he’s supposed to be working. Milo says that he’s helping Lulu. Dillon asks with what. Lulu looks pointedly at Logan. Logan leaves. Spinelli comes in and stakes his claim as Lulu’s boyfriend. Milo = burst floaty cartoon hearts. The 3ooges all start to argue about who is Lulu’s boyfriend. They all look at her. She’s all “Look at the time. Gotta go!”

Wyndemere – Study
Robin comes in to find Nikolas dying on the couch and CJC watching him. CJC says he’s punishing Nikolas for his behavior earlier. Robin demands that Nikolas get the counteragent. CJC gives it to him. Nikolas tells Robin that she shouldn’t have come back because he can’t protect her. CJC says that he’s sure Robin’s not worried about herself. Robin says she can take care of herself. CJC tells Robin not to do anything foolhardy or Patrick dies.

Not Starbucks – Office
Max asks if anything went wrong with 3oop. Sonny says it’s fine and asks if Max has seen Carly. Max says no but if he had, he wouldn’t tell Sonny. Sonny acts hurt and talks about loyalty and blah blah blah. Max says that he won’t spy on Carly for Sonny or Jax, not that Jax has asked him to. He tells Sonny that he’s loyal to him about business but when it comes to Carly, she’s his friend. He tries to treat her with respect and suggests Sonny do the same.

Cottage
Lulu comes over and asks Carly how to let someone down without hurting them or yourself. Carly’s all “not a clue.” She tells Lulu to take it slow. You can love more than one person so you have to be careful. Lulu says it sounds like Carly’s talking from experience. Carly says that’s the understatement of the year. Lulu says that love’s just not worth it and she’ll just skip it.. Carly says that you can’t skip love. Love can’t be controlled. There’s a lot of talk on the boards about how Lulu is being set up to be like Carly in that Carly’s got a lot of suitors/guys who like her. Lulu=Carly and Milo/Spinelli/Dillon = Sonny/Jax/Jason. But I’m not really seeing it. I see Lulu as being more Laura and Spinelli/Logan being her Luke/Scotty combo. Especially since Logan is Scotty’s son (allegedly). I can still see Dillon being her Jason though. Best friend that she once slept with. Someone on the boards pointed out that Carly mentioned that 3oop reminded her of Jason and took that to mean that 3oop would be Lulu’s version of Carly’s Jason. I took it to mean that they were trying to set up Coop as a tie to Brenda (perhaps Brenda’s love child with Jason, but that can’t be possible).

McLobby
Sam finishes the interview. Amelia tells her she’s a natural in front of the camera. Sam admits she enjoyed herself. Amelia wheedle a bit more and Sam’s on board. Amelia tells Sam that this will change her life.

PCPD
3oop’s filling out the application. Maxie thinks this is a bad idea. He’s hiding a big secret. What if one of the gunmen recognize him? 3oop says the 2 captured gunmen are in Albany, awaiting trial in Federal Court and that it wouldn’t matter anyways since CJC’s the only one who ever saw his face. I always wondered how 3oop got picked for this. I guess we’ll get an answer at some point down the line when 3oop’s a “cop” and CJC’s got his new identity and their paths cross. Maxie laments that they had a good deal going. She worked at the boutique, he worked security, they got to take lunch breaks together, etc. 3oop jokes that the only way to stop him is to turn him in. Maxie says that she would never do that. 3oop tells her that he needs to do this but won’t tell her the real reason why. He gives the application back to Cruz. Ric looks on approvingly.

Meanwhile, Patrick comes in and asks to speak with Mac about Robin. They go into the interrogation room because apparently, Mac doesn’t have his own office or anything. They discuss Robin moving in with Nikolas. Mac doesn’t see a problem. Patrick gets frustrated.

Penthouse
Spinelli comes in, sees Jason looking more morose than normal, and tells Jason that he’s just there to get his laptop. Jason thanks Spinelli for helping with Lulu and keeping the secret. Spinelli thinks that Jason should tell the truth. Yeah, people will be angry at first, but Jason can just ignore them. Everyone will calm down eventually and then there will be 4 people to love that baby. Jason says he can’t be selfish. Spinelli’s all “this is your kid were talking about.” He doesn’t get how it’s selfish to love your own kid. That was pretty deep for Spinelli. I wonder if he’s got parental issues similar to what’s going on here. Sam walks in and hopes she didn’t bust up anything important. Spinelli covers by saying that he’s off to win the fair Lulu’s heart. Sam is mildly amused. Spinelli leaves. Sam asks if Spinelli’s dating Lulu. Jason says that Spinelli thinks he is. He asks why Sam’s not at work. She tells him about taking the Everyday Heroes gig. Sam’s hesitant a little bit because of her past but Jason says that the past is what it is so they should be happy about the future.

McLobby
Amelia’s on the phone saying that Sam’s on board. She asks the person for information on 2 other names: Susan Curtis and Linda Black.

Marty and Jax discuss being back at the McHotel. Marty says that Carly was the real hero.

Wyndemere – Study
Nikolas asks Alfred to set up the Blue Room for Robin. Alfred asks CJC if his room is to his satisfaction (except he totally calls him Mr. Bresnen). CJC is fine. Alfred leaves. CJC says he enjoys the amenities.

Kelly’s Diner
The 3ooges are teaming up to get info on Logan. Lulu comes in and asks what’s going on. Spinelli closes his laptop and says nothing. Lulu says that when Spinelli shuts his laptop like that and says “nothing” it usually means that he’s doing something he shouldn’t. The 3ooges start to argue again over who is her boyfriend. Finally, she can’t take it anymore and yells at them to get them to shut up. She tells them that she’ll date all 3 of them or none of them.

Cottage
Sonny comes over to talk to Carly. They go another 2 rounds with the “I love you but can’t be with you” and “things will be different this time” bullshit. Sonny tells Carly to have faith in them. He wants her to listen to her heart and come back to him. He leaves. Carly sits on the sofa, tears in her eyes.
