Recaplet for Thursday, March 22, 2007:
Elizabeth and Lucky are getting married.
CJC and Alexis meet.

Nikolas is on the phone, confirming information and asking information to be encrypted and email to him. CJC asks if the information from Russia was good. Nikolas says they got a line on twin boys from Russia who would be about the same age as CJC if they were alive. He can choose between either name. CJC is pleased. He wants Nikolas to introduce him to his business contacts, friends and family. Nikolas says no way. Lucky calls out. CJC hides as Lucky comes in. Nikolas asks what he wants. Lucky says that today is his wedding day so he wants his brother up there with him.

Maxie sees Lulu sitting there and wonders why she isn’t at the house, receiving well wishes from visitors who are perpetuating this farce of a marriage. Lulu tells Maxie she knows nothing. Maxie begs to differ. She suggests going over there. Lulu smacks her and tells Maxie that she’ll have to go through her first. That slap? Awesome, in that it was needed, but not so awesome in execution. You could tell that it was staged and that palm didn’t actually meet cheek. The sound effect they used for it was more like a punch than a slap.

Carly comes to ask Jason to be her escort to the wedding. Jason says no. Carly says she has to go to the wedding because she’s a Spencer but she doesn’t like Elizabeth and Luke puts her on edge so she needs someone there to help reign her in. Jason says no. Carly plays the Lulu card. Jason says he’ll think about it. Carly thanks him, tells him the wedding is at 2pm and he has to wear a suit.

Elizabeth’s putting on make-up. She remembers her elevator confession and starts to tear up. Emily knocks on the door and sees the tears. She tells Elizabeth that if she’s not ready to marry Lucky, now is the time to back out. No one would blame her if she didn’t go through with it, especially since it all seems sudden. Elizabeth chalks it up to pre-wedding jitters and says she’s fine. I don’t get why Emily immediately jumped to the idea that Elizabeth didn’t want to get married. She’s pregnant. I would’ve figured it was hormones.
Scorpio House – Living Room
Robin’s fixing her hair in the mirror and unbuttons a button on her blouse. If the intention was to do anything other than unbutton the button, then it didn’t work. That shirt was not the shirt to wear if she wanted to show a little skin. Patrick shows up with boxes. Robin thought they were having lunch. Patrick says they can do both, it’s called multi-tasking. Robin says she’d rather sleep in the street than move in with him.
Wyndemere – Study
Lucky says he expected a call back when he called asking Nikolas to be Best Man. Nikolas covers and says he’s in the middle of a lucrative business deal that could bankrupt Cassadine Industries. Lucky says this isn’t like Nikolas and asks if something’s wrong. Nikolas tells him to stop being a cop and go. Lucky leaves. CJC isn’t happy. If the “dumb flatfoot” can figure out that Nikolas is acting out of sorts, the others will too. He warns Nikolas against that plan since Nikolas would be dead before any of them figured it out.
Kelly’s Diner
Maxie rubs her jaw and tells Lulu that the slap just proves how scared she is that the wedding will fall apart. Lulu asks Maxie to go hit by a bus. Maxie says that Elizabeth only took Lucky back because it would compromise her halo if she wasn’t married to the baby’s daddy. Spinelli comes in and tells Maxie to ease up off Lulu. Maxie leaves. Spinelli: “That girl could use a decent yoga class.” Lulu hates that Maxie’s more right than she knows. Lulu’s not sure how she’ll be able to watch Lucky marry Elizabeth without saying something.
Scorpio House – Living Room
Robin moves the boxes back to the front door. Patrick says he’s trying hard not to be offended. Robin says that they’re not ready to live together. Patrick says that before McHostage, they were together. She says that they were okay when they were on the air mattress, but when they really lived together, they got into such a huge fight that sent him to Vegas with Pete and her to jail. Not that I’m complaining, but where is Pete? Robin just wants Patrick to go get her stuff from his place. He says okay and leaves.
Haunted Star
Tracy comes to find Luke. He’s been drinking. She offers to make him a pot of coffee and sober him up. He knows she doesn’t know how to make coffee. She tells him that she understands how annoying happy family gatherings can be so she’s there for moral support. Luke thinks that people who stand up and pledge everlasting love are setting themselves up to be shot down so he’s not anxious to watch Lucky go down that road. Tracy says that he’s a cynic, it’s part of his charm, and that to folks like them, the glass is always half empty and what’s in there is poison. They’ve earned their pessimism but their kids have illusions so why rain on them? They get to celebrate moments of happiness before the kids learn about life the hard way. Luke asks Tracy to be his designated driver for the wedding.
Spencer House – Upstairs
Elizabeth says that no one will be staring at her, just the baby bump. They talk about Nikolas and his behavior. Emily is glad that Nikolas said something now because she doesn’t want to pressure him but she just wishes she knew where it came from.
Wyndemere – Study
CJC tells Nikolas that he won’t drive away his friends and family because they are a busy body little crew who will come digging. Emily with cry to Jason and Sonny and CJC would rather not engage in a duel to the death. Nikolas says the deal was that he’d help CJC but there wouldn’t be any interaction with his people so he’s not going to Lucky’s wedding. CJC says he can sympathize with Nikolas’ plight. He loves Emily, so why doesn’t he bring her in on the arrangement. Nikolas won’t. CJC tells Nikolas to go to the wedding but be back by 8pm or else he’ll turn into something worse than a pumpkin.
Not Starbucks – Office
Spinelli comes to see Jason about Lulu. She’s afraid she’s going to say something. They talk about Jason and the baby. Jason admits he would want to be part of the baby’s life, but it’s best for him not to be. Jason wants Spinelli to be there for Lulu. Spinelli says he won’t let them down and leaves.
Spencer House – Upstairs
Emily gets a phone call from the hospital. She’s got to go and help this patient. Elizabeth understands and says she’ll feel Emily’s spirit.
Spencer House – Living Room
Lulu is staring out the window. Lucky comes over and asks if she didn’t think he’d find out. Lulu’s all “huh?” Lucky knows that Nikolas and Luke aren’t coming but he’s okay as long as she’s there. They hug. The doorbell rings. It’s Spinelli. He compliments Lesley in his own way (“your DMV picture doesn’t do you justice!”). Lulu grabs him and asks him why he’s there. Spinelli’s her date. He’s in a grey suit with a white shirt with tiny black polka dots and a tie that matches the shirt so it almost looks like he’s not wearing a tie. The best part? His beanie matches Lulu’s dress. The whole ensemble is quite cute and very Spinelli.
Spencer House – Front Porch
Carly’s there. She’s about to go in and Jason shows up. She’s glad he came. He’s not so sure he should be there.
Spencer House – Upstairs
Lulu knocks and comes in, telling Elizabeth that Emily sent her up. Lulu looks unhappy. Elizabeth says that Emily got called to work so she’s got a Maid of Honor opening and she’d love for the baby’s Aunt to be the Maid of Honor. Lulu snaps and calls Elizabeth a hypocrite. Elizabeth is confused as to why Lulu was all about her and Lucky getting back together and now she’s not. Lulu says that Lucky doesn’t deserve what Elizabeth is doing to him. Elizabeth asks what exactly it is that she’s doing. Lulu wants to know if Elizabeth is only marrying Lucky because she’s afraid of what would happen if he found out the truth. Elizabeth isn’t sure what truth Lulu means but before Lulu can say anything, Bobbie, Audrey, and Lesley come in with the bouquet and whatnot.
Scorpio House – Living Room
Patrick is back with Robin’s stuff. She says she thought she had more stuff there. He says that she does but she’s going to need a change of clothes every once in a while since she’ll be staying there sometimes. She says she’ll pack an overnight bag, if that’s the case. They go back and forth a little bit before finally just getting to the make out session. Robin starts to undo her blouse, gets frustrated with the buttons and rips the blouse open. First of all, no buttons went flying, so totally unbelievable. Second, where the heck is her scar? She was shot in the stomach and yet there wasn’t a scar or any stitches anywhere. While making out, Georgie comes in. She turns away, apologizes and goes upstairs. Patrick uses that as an example of why she needs to move in with him. She’s not convinced. He says that he can’t promise that he won’t make another mistake but it won’t be the same one. That melts her so she goes to get the boxes to box up her stuff. Unfortunately, Georgie comes downstairs and, not seeing Robin, asks Patrick if it worked. Set up! Robin’s not happy. She’s ticked that Patrick tried to manipulate her. She says that they are fundamentally incompatible. I will be glad when these two “break up” because I am sick of Robin’s insecurities. God, she’s almost as bad as Carly! Okay. I have to amend this because apparently, I missed a lot by not seeing Tuesday’s episode. I’m guessing she’s doing to Patrick what Nikolas is doing to Emily.
Spencer House – Living Room
Carly, Bobbie, and Jason are talking about true love. Jason goes over to Spinelli, who’s signing the guest book. I’d give $10 to the writers if they came up with a way to let us hear/read what Spinelli wrote (and have it be something completely odd, yet endearing in a Spinelli way).Jason asks how Lulu is. Spinelli: “First, do you like my suit?” Jason: “No.” [stare] Spinelli says his plan is to stick as close to Lulu as possible and be ready to intervene if she looks like she’s gonna blow. Jason asks where she is. Spinelli says she’s upstairs doing something wedding-like. He then excuses himself as he has a date with a giant prawn. He hightails it over to the food table. There’s a funny little bit where the camera focuses on Jason but you can see Spinelli in the background, getting in Lucky and Lesley’s way to get to the food, before Lucky finally comes over to Jason and thanks him for being there. Lucky is grateful that Jason saved Elizabeth and the baby during the McHostage sitch.
Luke and Tracy show up as does Nikolas. Lucky is glad Nikolas is there and there’s no pressure because Emily isn’t there.
Jason heads back to Carly’s side, where she’s all kind of bitchy about being nice and calm, except she’s not. Jason tells her to calm down.
Kelly’s Diner
Maxie and 3oop are talking about how it’s Lucky’s wedding today. Maxie talks about how she did love Lucky and she wishes that everyone could see that Elizabeth doesn’t love him like he deserves to be loved. 3oop just looks at her. She says that it’s not about her being hung up on Lucky. It’s about Elizabeth not being the right girl for him. 3oop asks if she thinks busting up the wedding will make people think about that. Maxie says that she hates Elizabeth and, for some odd reason, Lulu seems to as well and that doesn’t bode well for the wedding.
Wyndemere – Study
CJC is on the phone, speaking to someone about something. If the closed captioning had actually captured the words, rather than just saying [speaking in French], I could tell you what he said. Alexis comes in. She wants to know who he is and where Nikolas is. CJC says he’s an associate of Nikolas’ and that his host is out at the moment. Alexis asks why he’s alone in the mansion and who is he? CJC introduces himself as Brosnan, James Brosnan. Alexis introduces herself as Davis, Alexis Davis. HA!! I’m not going to start calling him BJB though. Also, that name doesn’t sound remotely Russian. Didn’t Nikolas say the twins were Russian? Oh, and Brosnan? Really? Jeebus. Why not just name him Connery and get the whole Bond thing out there in the open? [Bone, this is for you. Daniel Craig is the newest James Bond. Pierce Brosnan was the Bond before him. I'm assuming you get the Connery reference. If not, let me know.] Man these really are the B-writers! Alexis points out that she’s Nikolas’ Aunt and the attorney for Cassadine Industries so she wants to know which holding company he works for? He says it’s a new start up called Cadmus International. Alexis asks which of the Big 3 in Zurich anchors the EU fund and then says she doesn’t mean to be intrusive but she really does. She walks past him to reach for something but gets a little light headed. He reaches out to help her but his shoulder isn’t healed from the bullet wound and he winces. He blames it on rock climbing. She retrieves her book and starts to leave, but he says she doesn’t have to go. Man, he was holding the noisiest. glass. of. scotch/whiskey. ever. That sucker kept clinkety-clinking through the whole scene.
Spencer House – Living Room
Bobbie tells everyone to be seated. Cam comes downstairs in his little outfit!!! Sooo cute!!
Spinelli sits next to Jason and asks if he’s okay. Jason is. Spinelli says he’s feeling the solemnity of the event. He asks if Carly’s alright. Jason says she gets that way at weddings and to keep id down.
Tracy is dissing the food and wine to Luke. He tells her that her snob is showing. She brushes her nose with her hand. She tells him that 5 minutes after the groom kisses the bride, they’re out the door and she’ll take him to dinner.
Maxie shows up outside and looks in through the window.
Lulu comes downstairs. Luke immediately thinks something’s wrong from the look on her face.
Elizabeth comes down the stairs in the FUGLIEST wedding dress. It looks like a flippin’ nightgown and it’s too short. She stops when she sees Jason. She falters a bit then finally makes it to the alter. The Officiant turns them the other way so that the crowd gathered can see them. Elizabeth stares at Jason. The Officiant starts off on his spiel and comes to the “if anyone can show just cause why this couple should not be married, speak now or forever hold your piece” bit. Lulu looks like she’s about to say something and Jason is poised to stop her.
