–Carly to Jason.

Recaplet for Wednesday, March 21, 2007:
VCR didn’t tape again. I’m thinking I’m not paying close enough attention when I check the vcr in the morning to make sure it’s turned off. I’ll be sure to catch it on the SoapNet replay tonight though since nothing is on against it.
——————————————————————————————–
Luke, Lulu and Scotty all visit “Laura.”
Ric and Skye both have horrible parenting skills.
Plans are still in the works for the Spencer wedding.

Kelly’s Diner
Jax runs into Carly at breakfast and gives her back her earring. He tells her he’s sorry he said all that stuff about her being a quitter. The Boys come running up and ask Carly if Jax can have breakfast with them. They all eat breakfast together. He says he thinks the pancakes are so good they should be on the menu of McRestaurant. Carly says she’ll get the chef right on that. The Boys ask Jax if he had chocolate chip pancakes in Siberia. He says that it was too cold. They then talk about sailing and his boat. Carly says the Boys can go but she might be too busy. If the guy’s not your fiancée anymore, you don’t get to let your underage kids hang out with him alone, Carly. That’s Parenting Rule #32. Michael asks Jax if he’ll change the name of the boat now that he and Carly aren’t getting married anymore. Jax says no. They finish their breakfast and Jax leaves, promising to take them out on the boat soon.

Jason and Sonny are discussing the missed shipment and how long it will take to get back to Port Charles. Sonny can sense Jason’s not really into the discussion and tells Jason that he can have someone else help him if he can’t focus. They then discuss Alcazar’s shipment moving through their territory. Jason says it was sloppy work. Sonny thinks Skye must have set it up for him. Milo comes in and announces Ric. Ric walks in with Molly. What the hell did Ric do to that poor child’s hair? And who brings a baby to question a mobster? He’s not going to win any father-of-the-year awards at this rate. Ric makes a comment about there not being a changing table in the men’s room, which is against code. He then starts in on Sonny about his criminal activity. Sonny points out that Ric’s whole argument for getting custody of Molly was that he didn’t want her exposed to Sonny’s lifestyle yet there Ric is with Molly. Ric talks about the goings on at the Harbor. Sonny says he has no idea what Ric is talking about and if he did, he wouldn’t discuss it in front of the child. Ric says that Molly is too young to know what they’re talking about. Sonny says he hopes Ric is going to talk to Alcazar as well, without Molly. Ric says that Alcazar’s brain injury means he won’t be prosecuted, so that just leaves Sonny and Jason. As he leaves, he mentions the changing tables again.

Penthouse
Sam is looking at a picture of her and Jason. She has a cup of tea in her hand and accidentally drops it. This leads into her thinking about the memory. Spinelli interrupts her and says that her aura clouded up. Sam needs Spinelli’s help. She needs him to help her out with the “Angela Monroe” problem. She tells him about the letter and how she used him as an excuse. Spinelli, completely missing the point, is a little upset at her lame excuse because it makes him took bad in front of Jason. Sam snaps him back to the real problem at hand, which is getting rid of Angela Monroe stuff. Spinelli vows to help her however he can and not tell Jason.

Shadybrook
Lulu comes to visit “Laura” and sees Luke in there with her. Luke tells “Laura” about Lucky and Elizabeth getting remarried and wanting to name the baby Laura, which Luke thinks is a great idea.

Spencer House
Lucky admonishes Elizabeth for moving around heavy furniture. She talks about having a lot of work to do before the wedding. He says he’s made calls in to all the relatives to come help. In walks Lesley to help.

Kelly’s Diner
Bobbie and Scotty are arguing about Luke and Lulu. Bobbie warns Scotty to keep his mouth shut and quit using Lulu in his vendetta against Luke. Scotty makes a veiled threat against Lulu about her keeping her mouth shut about things.

Shadybrook
Lulu visits “Laura.” She tells her that Scotty was the one who killed Rick Webber. She also tells her about Elizabeth’s baby. She’s sad that she has to keep these secrets to protect her family. She wonders how Laura kept the secret of Nikolas for so long away from Luke. To lighten the mood a little, she tells “Laura” about the 3ooges.

GH – 5th Floor
Alcazar complains about being at the hospital. Skye tells him that it’s necessary so that he can better. He tells her he can make it to his appointment by himself. She kisses him goodbye and leaves. I’d like to make a plea to Robin Christopher for a moment if I may. For the sake of all that is holy in this world, figure out what it is that you did to piss off the Wardrobe Department and make it up to them tenfold!!! You are being dressed in THE. most. hideous. clothes. ever! I would try to make the argument that they’ve been dressing all the women horribly these past couple of days (Carly’s dress on her date with Sonny being one example, Lulu’s weird grey bondage dress the other day as another and Elizabeth’s white maternity top [seriously? who wears white when they’re painting?] as yet another [dude that thing was fugly]), but they’ve been dressing you in crap since the day you first showed up. Do I even need to mention the metallic space outfit they had you in for the hostage situation? Alcazar’s phone rings and he tells the person on the other line that everything’s in place and that Sonny and Jason won’t know what hit them.

Not Starbucks – Office
Sonny’s telling Jason they need to get someone into the PCPD, when his phone rings. It’s Carly. She needs him.

GH – Hallway (don’t know what floor #)
Alexis drops a folder. Epiphany commiserates with her about being a butterfingers when she was on chemo as well. Ric comes in with Molly. He’s surprised to see Alexis there. Alexis reminds him that she keeps all of Molly’s appointments up to 6 months in advance. I don’t like Alexis’ attitude here. She didn’t have an instruction manual when it came to Kristina so she probably did things wrong at first. I know she doesn’t want to cut Ric any slack but he’s not doing any worse than any new single parent. Dr. O’Something (my closed captioning says “O’Connell” but it sounded like they said “O’Donnell” so I’m not sure which it is) comes out and brings them both back with Molly to get her shots. After they’re done, Ric appreciates Alexis being there to make it easier for Molly.

Spencer House
Lesley walks them through how the ceremony is supposed to go. She then leaves to go see about the flowers and the rings. They kiss. Luke comes in and wants to know why Bobbie called him and told him to meet her at the house. Lucky says it’s to help with the wedding prep. Lucky has to go run errands. Luke and Elizabeth have an awkward moment before Luke asks what the rush is for the wedding. Elizabeth says Lucky wanted to get it all done before the baby came. She thanks Luke for helping her “see the light” in the hospital. The awkwardness is gone and now they share a tender moment.

Kelly’s Diner
Sonny comes in and asks Bobbie if Carly’s okay. Bobbie says Carly had a meeting so she needed Sonny to look after the Boys. Sonny thinks Bobbie’s got it covered but Bobbie lays the smackdown on him. Sonny and the Boys leave as Sam’s coming in. She sits at the counter and is trying to talk to the courier people again. A woman and her daughter spot Sam and whisper. They approach Sam and tell her about how the Everyday Heroes segment inspired them and the daughter is now taking CPR classes. Amelia comes in and hears all this. The girl and her mother leave. Were they real or a plant by Amelia to convince Sam to take the job? Amelia tells Sam they won their time slot and that Sam really resonates with the young women. Sam is flattered but her life isn’t built for that much attention. She leaves.

Not Starbucks – Office
Carly comes to talk to Jason. After whining about loving both Carly and Sonny, Jason tells her to shut it. She’s got 2 wonderful children, a good business, and 2 men who love her. That’s more than most people have in life. I don’t know if it’s deliberate on the part of the director/producers/writers, but Steve Burton is looking particularly older in his scenes the past couple of days. In this scene, you can really see the wrinkles around his eyes and forehead. He’ll be 37 this June and he really looks it today.

Elm Street Pier
Sonny and the Boys are looking at the ships that are bringing in cargo. So, I was wrong about Sonny being an arms dealer. Someone on a message board asked what it was that Sonny did for a living in terms of his mob and legit businesses. He doesn’t run guns or drugs. So I’m confused as to what his illegal business activities are then. Money laundering? What are the “shipments” he gets? Is he dealing in black market items? Alcazar, Skye, and LilaRae are out for a walk on the Pier. Sonny tells the Boys to go [somewhere] (wasn’t really paying attention) and he confronts Skye and Alcazar. He tells Skye that he wants to talk to Alcazar privately, but Skye’s not going anywhere. Sonny says he’d rather not discuss business in front of LilaRae. Skye says LilaRae’s too young to understand what’s going on. God. Molly and LilaRae are going to need LOTS of therapy when they get older because of the horrible parenting they’re receiving now. Sonny warns Skye about moving shipments through his territory. Alcazar tells Sonny not to threaten Skye. Sonny says that if Skye’s going to be a player in the business, she’d better get used to how the game is played. He leaves. Alcazar asks if she really tried to move a shipment. Skye says she’ll be damned if she’ll let Sonny steal Alcazar’s business.

Shadybrook
Scotty comes to visit “Laura.” He confesses that he killed Rick Webber but that he didn’t meant to let her take the blame for it. He had left to get help (hello? it’s called a cell phone, doofus!) and when he got back, Luke was already there. Scotty says that he’s suffered every single day of his life since then. He tells “Laura” that he loves her.

Not Starbucks – Office
Lucky comes in and wants to make amends. Jason tells him the baby is his. Sam then wakes him up. It was a dream. Sam asks if he’s okay. He says he hasn’t gotten much sleep because of the stuff with the shipments. He doesn’t want to talk about it and asks Sam how she is. She tells him about what happened in the coffee shop. He asks her if it’s something she wants to do. She’s semi-interested but doesn’t want to be in the spotlight. Milo announces Amelia. Amelia comes in, tells Jason that he’s holding Sam back, and leaves. Sam is all “how rude!” Jason tells her to take the job if she wants it.

Kelly’s Diner
Sonny asks how Carly’s meeting went. She says it was fine. He asks if she’s ready to talk about the labor for McHotel. She tells him to call her secretary. She gets the Boys and leaves.

Penthouse
Lulu and Spinelli talk about the secrets that are closing in on them. They talk about the wedding. Lulu wonders if she should say something after all.
