Recaplet for Friday, February 23, 2007:
Scotty talks to Lulu about Laura. Later, Spinelli tells Lulu that Scotty was the one who helped Rick cover up the initial murder that Laura witnessed. Lulu thinks Scotty might know who killed Rick Webber.
Jason tracks CJC to the Metro Court and they have a rollickin’ gun fight throughout the hotel.
Carly won’t stay married to Sonny.
The “interview” with Sam about being a hero is broadcast nationwide and a mysterious person with a watch hears/sees this.

Greystone
Carly’s dreaming about the McHostage situation. She wakes up in Sonny’s arms and he comforts her. They kiss. He says he’ll make sure she’s never in pain again. He leaves to make breakfast.

GH – Lulu’s Room
Lulu comments that Scotty’s been out of town for a long time. Scotty says he came back to see Laura. She says Laura’s back in ShadyBrook. Scotty knows and he asks how Laura was when she was lucid. Lulu says she was perfect. He asks if Laura asked about him. Lulu said there wasn’t’ time. He asks if Laura talked about Rick Webber. Before she can answer, Skye comes in, sees Scotty, and demands to know what the hell he’s doing there.

GH – Alan’s Room
Emily tells Alan that Jason was there but Alan was sleeping. Alan wants to know why he wasn’t woken up. Monica says it was doctor’s orders. Alan says he has stuff he needs to tell Jason. Emily reassures him that there’ll be time later to talk to Jason.

GH – Hallway
Jason figures that CJCs at the lobby looking for the PDA. Spinelli says they can slip in unnoticed. Jason says he’s going alone. Spinelli says Jason needs tech support and it’ll be like before. Jason points out that Spinelli got caught. Spinelli thinks about that for a tick and then points out that it was Lulu who went off the reservation. I can’t believe the writers went with that particular phrase. Jason is firm when he tells Spinelli no. Spinelli points out that CJC went bad-ass on a lot of folks who want revenge. Jason says it’s not about revenge. CJC hurt the wrong people. He walks off.

GH – Elizabeth’s Room
Sam thought Elizabeth and Lucky were in a good place. Elizabeth says that she wants to tell Lucky the truth but she’s afraid he’ll spiral out of control. Sam doesn’t understand what truth Elizabeth isn’t telling. Elizabeth non-answers by saying that Lucky asked her to marry him but she said no because their life would be a lie.

McLobby
CJC comes into the lobby and hides while an Engineer clears the building. Once everyone’s gone, he starts searching for the PDA. He finds it, and makes a couple of notes to it, before he realizes that Jason’s holding a gun on him. Before anything can happen, the ceiling collapses and they both duck out of the way.

GH – Alan’s Room
Alan says he had a lot of time to think while he was having his heart attack. He doesn’t want to mourn the loss of a son, he wants a relationship with the man that Jason is now. He asks Emily to find Jason. She says she’ll try. She leaves and runs into Spinelli in the hallway. She asks if he knows where Jason is. Spinelli says he left to go take care of business.

GH – Elizabeth’s Room
Elizabeth says she’s not sure she can take Lucky back. Sam asks if Elizabeth wants her baby to grown up with its dad. Elizabeth says she might not have a choice. Sam says she’d give anything to have that with Jason. Elizabeth assures Sam that she will be, but Sam tells her that she can’t have kids. Elizabeth is sympathetic and tells Sam that there are other options. Sam says that no one would let them adopt because of the numerous felonies between the 2 of them.

GH – Lulu’s Room
Skye tells Lulu not to believe a word out of Scotty’s mouth. Scotty says he knows he and Skye aren’t on the best of terms. She screeches at him for knocking her out and leaving her in a burning building. She asks how Lulu’s doing. Lulu says she’s okay. Skye tells lulu that she’ll probably hear stuff about what happened. Lulu tells her she knows all about it and doesn’t blame Skye. Skye thanks her and tries to get Scotty to leave as well. Lulu tells Skye it’s okay since she wants to talk to Scotty. Skye gives Scotty an “eat shit” look and leaves. Lulu comments that Skye’s definitely not his friend. Scotty closes the door and says that he never had good luck with red-heads. Lulu wants to ask Scotty about Laura.

GH – Alan’s Room
Outside in the hallway, Monica’s lamenting the fact that she sent Jason away. Emily is sure that Jason will come back on time. Tracy goes in to visit with Alan. She tells him to quit milking this heart thing and trying to curry favor with Edward. She tells him that he needs to get better quickly because she needs him. He promises to be around to torture her for decades to come. Man. I cannot begin to tell you how much I’m loving Jane Eliot these days! She is rocking her scenes!

Greystone
Carly calls the cops to find out if they’ve found any of the jewelry that the gunmen stole. She’s specifically looking for her engagement ring. Sonny brings out breakfast. Carly tells him that nothing’s change and that she’s still getting the divorce. Sonny’s gobsmacked, since they just had sex and whatnot. Carly says they only slept together because of the McHostage situation. Sonny tells her that things can be different this time. She says they’re great in a crisis but then they fall apart. Sonny doesn’t understand why she feels that way after all they just shared. She says that Jax is in her heart the way that Sonny can be anymore. Sonny tells her that he loves her; they’re a part of each other. He knows she’s scared but she’s got to remember the good times. They’re soul mates. She says she can’t be married to him because she doesn’t like the person she becomes. Bobbie shows up with the Boys.

GH – Lulu’s Room
Lulu wants to know what Laura was like before Luke. Scotty says she was the saem and lists all her virtues. Lulu asks why he helped cover up the Teresa Carter murder. He says he was young and stupid. Lulu says that if had told the truth, Laura would still be here and Rick would still be alive. Scotty says the Rick Webber murder was a tragic mistake. Tracy walks in and tells Scotty he’s not welcome.

GH – Alan’s Room
Edward tells Alan that Cook’s going to put Alan on the same diet he’s on so no more t-bone steaks. Alan tells Edward he doesn’t have to be nice to him. Edward says he should’ve told Alan before that he’s proud of him. Alan says it was worth the wait.

McStairwell
CJC and Jason are shooting at each other. CJC wants to know why Jason’s there. He says that Jason’s taking things to personally. Jason says CJC picked the wrong place to do business. CJC says that everyone Jason cared about is okay and that Jason won’t lose face with his boss. He tells Jason to let him go or else he might die. There’s more shooting and they run up the stairs. And these guns have yet to run out of bullets.

GH – Alan’s Room
Skye comes to see Alan. Monica tells her that if it were up to her, Skye would never be allowed to step foot near Alan again but as long as Alan’s breathing and loves Skye, Monica will honor his wishes. Skye goes in to see Alan. Edward immediately is on her case about choosing Alcazar over the Qs. Alan says he’ll never disown Skye. Edward leaves. Skye doesn’t know why Alan doesn’t disown her, after everything. Alan says that Alcazar is her baby’s daddy. Skey asks how he can still love her despite the bad things she’s done. He says that she would never look at LilaRae and not love her. Skye says LilaRae is her biological daughter so it’s different. Alan says it doesn’t matter. He loves all his kids. He just did a better job with the girls. Skye says that AJ knew Alan loved him. Alan hopes that Jason knows it too. They say their I love you’s and Skye leaves. Monica comes in and asks Monica not to shut Skye out.

GH – Lulu’s Room
Tracy calls Scotty a snake coiled around a nest of eggs. Scotty tries to explain why he’s there but Tracy’s not having it. She tells him to get out on the count of 3. He tells her she’s no Laura and leaves. Tracy tells Lulu that Luke and Scotty have been fighting over Laura for years and not to get in the middle of it. Lulu thinks that Scotty was nice enough. Tracy calls him toxic.

McRestaurant
More gunshots as CJC and Jason have now moved to the restaurant. CJC is in awe of Jason’s persistence but he’s got someplace to be. He offers Jason triple whatever Sonny’s paying him. He still has the $10million. Jason says it’s not about the money. CJC tells Jason that he’s just trying to leave town and Jason needs to let him walk away or else. He wonders if Jason doesn’t have someplace better to be.

GH – Waiting Area
Sam sees Edward and asks how he is. He’s contemplative about his family. He tells her there’s nothing more important than children. Sam tells Edward to tell Alan that she hopes he gets better. Edward hopes she’s not leaving because of the children talk. He’s not trying to pressure her. Sam says it’s just been a long day and night. Edward praises her heroics and points out that the interview she did just went national.

Next scene. You see a shadow of someone watching the newscast and then the camera pans to a picture of some guy and then focuses on a gold watch. How many times are we going to see this shot, I wonder.

GH – Lulu’s Room
Lulu’s telling Spinelli about how Alan’s not the killer and how she’s got a new lead. He asks for more data. She tells him about Rick Webber, Scotty and Teresa Carter. Spinelli wonders if she’s told Scotty about how Laura might be innocent. She says no, but she thinks Scotty might know who killed Rick. Scotty overhears this.

GH – Elizabeth’s Room
She’s holding her stomach and remembering when she told Jason about the baby. Which she did about AN HOUR AGO. Jeebus, these writers are driving me up a flippin’ wall!!

McRestaurant
CJC tells Jason that if he sticks around he might not make it out. Surely there’s someone in his life who’s missing him.

GH – Alan’s Room
Monica and Alan are all schmoopy. Emily comes in. Alan asks about Jason. Emily lies and says Jason’s on his way. Alan goes into cardiac arrest.

Greystone
Carly, Sonny, and the Boys are discussing what happened at McHotel. Everyone’s okay, blah blah blah. Sonny says he’ll make the Boys breakfast. Michael asks if they can have pancakes every morning. Carly says no because they’re moving back to their own house.
