–Luke, to Elizabeth.

CJC and Jason and their guns that never run out of bullets continue their shoot out at MCRestaurant but Jason ends up letting CJC go because Spinelli informs him that Alan had another heart attack.
Ford tells Monica to tell the other Qs that Alan is about to shuffle off his mortal coil and they should all be preparing to say their good-byes to him.
Greystone
Michael’s upset that, even after all the hostage stuff, Carly’s still getting divorced. Sonny tells the Boys to go upstairs. Carly doesn’t want him to tlak her into staying. Sonny says she’s not being fair to the Boys or to what’s in her heart. She says that’s not fair. He says that they can’t keep lying to themselves. Carly can’t do this. Sonny admits that he doesn’t like Jax with Carly or the Boys because it’s the way she used to look at him and the way he used to interact with the Boys. Carly says that’s not the point. Sonny says they’re in this life together.
GH – ER Cube 3
Elizabeth makes a call to Jason. She heard about Sam not being able to have a baby and she’s sorry. She wants to do right by their baby. She turns and see Lucky at the door. She lies and says she was on the phone with Audrey. Lucky is grateful to Jason for finding her. Elizabeth says that he shouldn’t have brought her flowers. He talks about the disconnect that happened when she was a surrogate for Jax. Elizabeth says he was good to her when she lost that baby. Lucky says he’d do anything to protect her but he failed her this time.
McRestaurant
CJC tells Jason that men like them have to decide what truly matters. More gunfire. Jason yells at CJC that his helicopter’s waiting so he’d better get a move on. CJC calls him witty and tells Jason that if he tries to stop him, he will take him down. There are more shots fired and Jason hits CJC in the shoulder. How is it that neither one of their guns has run out of ammo? Neither had an extra clip. At least CJC’s didn’t, since he had Lucky’s gun. And even if they had semi-automatic weapons, those hold at most 15 shots and they’ve fired more than 15 shots since they started in the lobby.
GH – Alan’s Room
Alan’s in full arrest. Ford comes in, along with various medical personnel and they work on Alan. Crash cart, 80 cc’s of some drug, paddles, clear, shock, no heart beat, then a blip. Edward, Tracy and Emily are there. Ford tells Monica to get them out. Emily herds them out. Ford and the team get a pulse. Ford wants a word with Monica. Tracy asks how Alan is. Ford tells her he’s stable for now, but in his opinion, Alan is dying. He tells Monica separately that she shouldn’t lead everyone on anymore and let them say their goodbyes. Monica asks how much time Ford thinks Alan has. Ford is amazed that Alan’s still alive. It’s like he’s holding out for something. Monica says Alan’s waiting for their son.
GH – Elizabeth’s Room
Lucky says he’s grateful that Elizabeth and the baby are safe. She says that the baby’s strong. He says that she is too and that he’s sorry for all the pressure that’s been put on her. Elizabeth just wants to put the night behind her. Lucky says he’s going to help her by letting her go. He wants her and the baby and Cameron to be happy. He’ll always be there if she needs him but they’re not getting back together. He says not to feel sorry. He’s finally doing what’s right. He kisses her forehead and leaves. I don’t like this actor playing Lucky because I find him to be kinda wimpy, but this scene was kinda heart wrenching because I like Lucky and Elizabeth. Of course, I also like Elizabeth and Jason so maybe I’m just a sucker for a super couple.
Greystone
Carly tells Sonny that them loving each other is irrational. They can’t live with each other. Sonny asks her if she doesn’t think they’re capable of changing. Carly says that she believes that change can happen. In her case, she’s rebuilt herself up form scratch and she knows what she wants herself to look like and she sees herself with Jax. Sonny asks her not to leave. Carly says that if the last 24 hours haven’t changed her mind, nothing will. She doesn’t want the pain of lving with him. Sonny says he don’t want the pan of living without her. Carly tells him he’s a catch and he’ll find someone who makes him happy. Sonny says that even if that were true, it would drive Carly batty. She and the Boys leave. Sonny tells her that he does wish her happiness.
GH – Alan’s Room
Edward looks scared. Tracy tells him to go in there and talk to Alan. Edward goes in, talks to Lila about Alan, and then goes to get Monica when Alan squeezes his hand.
GH – 10th Floor Nurses Station
Emily asks a nurse to page Jason. The nurse says she did. Emily is frustrated and demands the nurse do it again. Spinelli, who’s just come off the elevator, hears this and tells Emily that Jason had to go take care of some business. She tells Spinelli to go tell Jason that Alan had another heart attack. Spinelli takes off.
Spencer House
Lucky looks in the window to the dark house. He takes a picture of him and Elizabeth on their wedding day out of his wallet and looks at it. I thought Lesley lived there. And if Lesley isn’t living there, then why wouldn’t Lucky and Elizabeth live there? It’s the Spencer house. And even if Lesley was living there, why not live there still? I’m sure that house is too big for just one person. And I bet Lesley would love to have had a great grandchild to have around.
GH – Elizabeth’s Room
Luke comes to visit Elizabeth. He tells her he ran into Lucky and Lucky told him that he’s letting Elizabeth go. Luke wonders if it’s what Elizabeth really wants. He says Elizabeth needs to find a way to forgive Lucky, the way that Laura forgave him.
McRestaurant
CJC compliments Jason on his hit but says that he’s won’t miss his flight. Jason says CJC won’t make it to the terrace. Spinelli shows up (What?! How did Spinelli know to climb up there? Did he hear the gunshots? And if he heard the gun shots, why didn’t the cops? And if the cops did, why aren’t they storming up there? And if they didn’t hear the gun fight happening, wouldn’t they wonder about the flippin’ helicopter hovering around at the top of the hotel?). Jason tells Spinelli to get the hell out of there but Spinelli relays Emily’s message. Jason stops to think. He tells Spinelli to go. Spinelli leaves. CJC asks Jason if he really wants to waste time while Alan is dying. Jason makes the decision to leave. CJC tells him that was a wise choice as he escapes.
GH – Alan’s Room & 10th Floor Nurses’ Station
Monica talks to Alan about their love, etc. She leaves the room to get another doctor to take over Alan’s case. Edward and Tracy follow her to the nurses’ station. Edward tells Monica that she’s scaring him. She tells Edward and Tracy that Alan’s not getting any better. Edward doesn’t believe it and goes back to Alan’s room.
Back in Alan’s room, Emily is talking to Alan. You’ve been my inspiration since I was 11, etc. She leaves the room and runs into Edward. He says he was going to go to the chapel to make a deal with God but God knows he made another deal already. He gets all weepy and goes back to the nurses’ station.
Spencer House
Elizabeth goes to see Lucky. He asks her what she’s doing out of the hospital. She says that Kelly cleared her and the baby. She said that her knowing he’d be there means that she still knows his heart. He asks what she would’ve done if he hadn’t been there. She would’ve gone back to Audrey’s and figured out what to do. She tells him not to give up his dreams. When he came to see her, it made her realize that she’s handled things poorly. She was in denial and didn’t confront her feelings. His offer to let her go made her see the boy she’s been in loved with since she was 15. She saw her soulmate. She’s forgiving him and asking him for forgiveness and wants to marry him, if he still wants her. They hug.
Greystone
A cop brings back Carly’s wedding ring and passport to Sonny.
Cottage
Carly sits down with the Boys to talk about Sonny, the hostage situation, etc. She sends them upstairs to unpack. There’s a knock at the door. It’s a delivery guy with flowers. She thinks they’re from Sonny. She puts them in a vase. There’s a knock at the door and she answers it, thinking it’s Sonny. She blurts out that one night of sex doesn’t entitle him to anything, but it’s Jax at the door. D’Oh!! And Jax lives there now, so why would he knock?
GH – Alan’s Room and 10th Floor Nurses’ Station
Tracy wants to know how Monica could say those things to Edward. Monica says she doesn’t want to lie to anyone. Tracy refuses to let Monica give up on Alan. Monica didn’t realize how much Tracy liked Alan. Tracy says that Alan is her big brother; she doesn’t just like him, she loves him. Edward comes back and says that he’s going to take Monica’s advice and say his goodbyes to Alan.
At Alan’s room, Emily is crying. Jason comes running up, takes one look at Emily and realizes that he’s too late. Man, Monica is going to be gutted when she realizes that Alan died without being able to say goodbye to Jason.
Emily goes to the nurses’ station to let them all know that Alan has died.
In Alan’s room, Jason looks at Alan. “I’m sorry.” he says.
I’m glad I just sneezed a couple of times. I’m at work now and it’s nice to have an excuse as to why my eyes are watering and I’m blowing my nose.
