Recaplet for Tuesday, February 20, 2007:
Ric (bastard!) deliberately self destructed the contents of the briefcase.
Luke found Lulu in the lobby, badly hurt.
Jason wants Elizabeth to marry him.
Robin goes in for surgery.
Alan’s still alive.

GH – ER Cube 3
Patrick and Robin are being all lovey-dovey. Kelly comes in and tells them that Dr. Rosenthal can’t operate on Robin right now because of an emergency surgery that just came up. Since Robin’s stable, they have to take the worst cases first. Robin says she’s in no hurry for another surgery. She’s conscious and relatively pain free and she’d like to stay that way for a bit. Kelly teases her about losing her common sense. She leaves. Patrick tells her that she will have the surgery.

MC Lobby
Luke screams for Lulu to answer him.

CJC, Sonny and Carly manage to get themselves out from under more debris. Sonny and CJC point their guns at each other. When more debris starts to fall and Sonny gets distracted, CJC runs off without the case. Carly yells that he’s getting away but Sonny stops her from going after him.

MC Outside
Lucky comes out. Mac tells him that they have rescue dogs coming from Albany so no one else goes back in until then.

MC Elevator
Jason thinks Elizabeth is traumatized. She assures him she’s not. He’s the Baby Daddy. Jason is understandably upset. Why didn’t she tell him? She explains that she tried but everyone assumed it was Lucky’s and then it all just snowballed from there. She wanted to tell him but then he assumed the baby was Lucky’s as well. He says he thought that’s what she wanted. She says she wasn’t sure what she wanted, but this baby wasn’t planned. Jason tells her that he’s not angry at her for not telling him to protect the baby, but he’s angry because he thought she knew him better than to assume that he wouldn’t want to take care of her and the child.

MC Outside
Nikolas and Emily hug. Cruz asks Nikolas if he’s seen Lucky. Nikolas says the last he saw, Lucky was in the building. Cruz says the building collapsed early, which sends Nikolas into a tizzy. Cruz calms him down and tells him to get Emily checked out. Cruz leaves.

GH – Alan’s Room
Tracy tells Alan that the hostage situation is over. Emily and Nikolas are okay. Alan asks about Lulu. Tracy doesn’t know. He says she’s got spunk. Alan asks about Jason.

MC Lobby
Spinelli’s trying to find Lulu but the firefighters drag him out, protesting.

Luke is sifting through debris, looking for Lulu.

MC Outside
Lucky finds Nikolas. There’s no sign of Lulu or Elizabeth. Lucky assumes the worst but Nikolas tells him not to do that.

Ford is examining Emily. She thinks she might have a concussion. He says that she can’t self-diagnose just because she performed ad-hoc surgery. He wants her to go to GH and get herself checked out. Nikolas says he’ll make sure of it. Emily asks about Alan. Ford says that he was in ICU last he heard. Emily wants to go see him first. Ford tells Emily that she did an exemplary job on Robin’s surgery and that she has a bright future as a doctor.

Sam gives Alexis her blanket. Ric tells Alexis to go home. She’s staying. Sam’s waiting for Jason and she’s waiting for Sonny. Ric wonders if she’d be so eager to risk getting sick if it were him in there and not Sonny. Alexis says she wouldn’t know unless he was one of the hostages. They see Sonny and Carly come out, looking very dazed.

MC Elevator
Jason says that all those conversations that she started and stopped with him make more sense and how she felt that she couldn’t get back with Lucky but couldn’t end things with him either. Elizabeth is sorry for her behavior. He asks if she’s given thought to his lifestyle more now. Elizabeth doesn’t doubt that he’d be a good dad but she’s not sure how to fit them into his life. Jason says they have to do what’s right for the baby. Elizabeth points out that it’s not that simple. He loves Sam and to some extent, she still loves Lucky. Jason admits that when Carly told him that he wasn’t the father, he felt like he had lost something and every time he saw her, he felt a little pang of regret, but he can’t regret the miracle of their baby.

GH – ER
Nikolas and Emily walk in and see Kelly. Nikolas asks Marty, who’s sitting there with FCD, how he’s doing. Marty says he’s better now that it’s all over. The make up people needed to give him more bruises on his face. After all, he did get his faced smashed into the front desk by CJC. Also, I like that Nikolas talked to Marty, even though he didn’t really know him and they’re from 2 different classes of life. Emily asks Kelly about Robin. Kelly directs her to Cube 3. They go into visit her. Nikolas tells Robin that he said he would get her out. Robin jokes that it’s bad manners to gloat. She calls them her personal rescue squad and thanks them for saving her life. Emily says that they’ll have a girl’s night out at Jake’s when she’s all better.

MC Outside
Alexis covers Carly with her blanket. Sam asks about Jason. Carly’s upset to hear that he didn’t get out. Sonny says that Jason will make it out. Carly asks about Lulu. Alexis says that Luke went in to search for her and Lucky thinks Elizabeth’s still in there as well. Sonny asks about Robin. Mac says she’s okay. Sonny asks about the gunmen. Mac says they have 2 in custody. Alexis says they both need to be checked out at the triage center. Sonny tells Mac that the cops need to put out an APB/BOLO for James Crain, 5’ 10”, dirty blonde hair. Sonny says that CJC’s empty handed though because they’ve got the case. They hand it over to Mac, who gives it to Ric. I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why Mac and/or Sonny thought it would be a good idea to hand the case over to Ric. I guess they’re not thinking straight. Skye looks on. Ric wonders why it’s still armed. Sonny says CJC opened it to check the contents and then rearmed it. Ric asks how CJC opened it. Carly says they figured out the code. Skye buts in and says that they’re lying. Alcazar remembered the code. I can’t figure out why Alexis and Mac left the scene. Wouldn’t Mac especially stay to hear Carly’s and Sonny’s statements about the case?

In the triage area, Spinelli is freaking out about Lulu. The EMTs and Epiphany don’t get what he’s saying because, naturally, he’s using nicknames. Luckily Dillon is there to translate. Spinelli says that he had Lulu’s hand and was leading her towards the corridor but she must’ve fallen because he lost her.

MC Lobby
Luke is still looking around for Lulu. You know, not to knock the rescue workers, but the lobby really isn’t that big. If the firefighers and EMTs were properly doing their job, they’d be able to find bodies faster. A firefighter tells Luke that all civilians have to evacuate the building. Luke says he’s not going anywhere without his daughter. The firefighter says they’re going to bring in the dogs. Luke yells at the man to bring the dogs in then but he’s staying too. The firefighter walks off. Luke sees a hand under some debris. It turns out to be 6.

GH – Alan’s Room
Monica updates Alan on Robin and Emily. He asks about Lulu. She says she hasn’t heard anything. He says that Lulu’s scrappy, like Luke. They talk about their love for each other.

MC Outside
Milo asks Spinelli what happened. Spinelli recounts to both Milo and Dillon what happened. He’s beating himself up because he had one job to do. He was responsible for getting Lulu to safety and he didn’t do it. He’s on the verge of tears. awww…poor Spinelli. I don’t like to see him cry. I know he’s just a character on a show, but I foresee Spinelli marrying the first girl he has sex with and that will be disastrous.

Sonny tells Ric that if the wrong code is entered, everything inside will self-destruct. Skye tells Rick that Sonny’s lying. Carly says that Skye just wants to protect Alcazar. Ric says that Sonny’s never told him the truth before so he’s not inclined to believe him. Sonny accuses Ric of deliberately destroying evidence so that Alcazar’s not charged with anything and therefore won’t take Ric down with him. Ric calls that theory is absurd and says that Sonny’s been through a lot. Sonny says he has and he and Carly leave. Ric asks Skye for the code. She gives him the bogus code and the inside goes “phft” and is destroyed. There’s a bit of “code” talk in which Ric and Skye have a normal conversation but it’s understood that he destroyed the case for her and in turn, she’ll do something for him later (like maybe erase the flash drive and/or the tape Alcazar was using to blackmail him?).

GH – ER Cube 3
Kelly teases Robin and says that Robin has to pull through surgery because if she doesn’t, then Patrick will fall in love with her but they’ll both feel guilty about it and it’ll be a big complicated mess. Robin promises that she won’t let that happen. Before she gets wheeled out for surgery, she asks Patrick for a favor. She wants him to get his HIV test. He promises and says that living with HIV would be nothing compared to living without her.

GH – Hallway Outside Alan’s Room
Emily and Nikolas tell Monica that Jason managed to get in and fight one of the gunmen but they haven’t seen him since. Monica asks them not to tell Alan. They go into see Alan. He’s glad she’s okay. They update him about Robin. He asks about Jason.

MC Elevator
Elizabeth is relieved. She didn’t want Jason to hate her. Jason says he could never hate her. He hears a noise and tries to call out for help. No one answers. Elizabeth says that it’s really quiet and isn’t sure if that’s good or bad. Jason assures her that half of Port Charles is probably looking for her. She wonders about Alan. She realized that he was one of the guys that helped carry Alan out and how hard that must have been on him. Jason says that for the first time since his accident, when he was carrying Alan, he thought “This is my dad.” No, I’m not crying. I just have something in my eye. What? Shut up. Don’t judge me! He asks Elizabeth if she’s given any thought to his lifestyle. She has. She realizes that secrets come with the territory. He wonders if she could handle life with him. She says he’s not thinking straight. He says he is. They can make it work. He wants her to marry him. My heart’s melting a little bit right now. But I have to say that unless Sam dies (which I’m totally for, by the way! and hopefully in some really gruesome manner in which there’s no way she could ever come back!), a Jason/Elizabeth love match will be slow to happen. Mainly because he does love Sam and she does love Lucky. I do think that over time, if these 2 were ever allowed to have a courtship, they’d have the makings of a super-couple but to throw them together like this with the complications of other loves is just asking for trouble.

MC Outside
Lucky tells Mac the EMTs just found 2 more bodies – a man and a woman (probably 6 and another henchman maybe 7). Mac tells a cop to get prints on the bodies. Lucky’s going to go back in to search for Elizabeth but Mac stops him. The building’s been red-tagged by the engineers until it’s safe to go back in with the dogs. Cruz tells Mac and Lucky that everyone’s accounted for. Sam asks about Jason and Lucky asks about Lulu. Cruz says they’ll send in the dogs soon.

MC Lobby
Luke isn’t having any luck finding Lulu. He falls to his knees, coughing. He appeals to Laura’s spirit to find Lulu. He looks over and sees Laura’s ring and realizes it’s Lulu. He digs her out and notices a nasty cut on her leg. He carries her out.
