Recaplet for Friday, January 19, 2007:
Sam gets a job.
Craig, James Craig visits Alcazar in the hospital.
Ric gets photographic proof of Alexis smoking pot.
And in the “What the Hell Is Going on In This Storyline?”, Patrick gets furniture for his apartment and asks Robin to move in with him.

Not Starbucks – Café
Sam whines about not getting a job. Jason offers her something in the warehouse offices. She wants a job on her own merit and because someone sees good in her. She gets a call from Maddox. There’s a Desk Clerk opening. She’s very excited until she thinks that Jason might have pulled some strings. He swears that he wouldn’t mess with Carly’s hotel and he wouldn’t go behind Sam’s back. Sam realizes she’s being silly and apologizes. She then goes to pick up her uniform and fill out paperwork.

Lakehouse
Alexis is trying to put together a toy for Kristina and Molly, but she’s feeling like crap. She grabs a joint when Viola, Kristina, and Molly come downstairs. She sends them on their way to wherever it is that they’re going and promises Kristina that the toy will be together when she comes back. She looks out the window.

GH – ICU
CJC visits Alcazar. He’s concerned about the shipment. Alcazar says it’s taken care of.  CJC doubts Alcazar’s ability to do the job from a hospital bed. Alcazar tells him to take out the competition then. He fills CJC in on Sonny’s role in PC. CJC wonders why Sonny’s still alive. Alcazar says luck and timing.

PCPD – Squad Room
Sonny comes to see Ric. The Office on Duty tells him Ric is in the Interrogation Room.

PCPD – Interrogation Room #1
Ric’s telling a photographer to get pictures of Alexis. Once the photographer leaves, Ric and Sonny do more back and forth about the Alcazar shooting and custody battle.

Patrick’s Apartment & GH – 10th Floor
Because I don’t like this storyline, I’m giving you the short story version.
Robin thinks Patrick’s moving back to the Metro Court (mainly because he said he was) but the furniture guys deliver the couch again along with more furniture. Robin doesn’t understand what’s going on with him. She goes to work. Lainey and Robin discuss Patrick’s behavior and Robin’s and Patrick’s relationship. Lainey goes back to work. Patrick comes to find Robin and talk to her. She thinks he’s going to break up with her but instead asks her to move in with him. Robin says no.

GH – 6th Floor
Elizabeth gives Lucky medical information for a case he’s working on. He asks if they’re still on for dinner. She says yes and for him to pick her up at Audrey’s. He gets in to elevator and pulls out the pills. If he’s feeling good (because Elizabeth is going out with him), why would he need the pills? I thought the pills were to help him get through the bad spots?

Lakehouse
Alexis is putting toy together, but feels sick. She picks up the joint, goes outside, lights and smokes it. Someone takes her picture. She went outside!? Damn, Alexis! Why not just call the cops to come watch you smoke a joint, then?

Metro Court
Maddox gives Sam a tour and fills her in on hours, training, etc. She asks why her. He lies and said he had a feeling about her. She leaves to go do whatever it is she has to do. Snotty Female Desk Clerk (SFDC) can’t believe that Sam got a coveted day shift. Maddox (first name Davis) says that no one else is Jason’s girlfriend and no one else wants to get on the bad side of Carly.

Not Starbucks – Café
Jason sees Elizabeth and teases her about getting more herbal tea. She’s actually buying coffee for Audrey as a thank you for babysitting Cam while she goes to dinner with Lucky. She doesn’t want Lucky to lose hope of being in the baby’s life since that hope is what’s keeping off pills. She thinks he deserves some happiness. Jason asks if she thinks she deserves to go after what makes her happy. He says she’s always putting her kids’ happiness above her own but kids are happy when their parents are happy. She tells him that he constantly sacrifices himself for others. Where would he be if he was only concerned about himself?

GH – ICU
Alcazar makes a phone call to his client. Sonny come in. Alcazar wants to know if Sonny’s come to apologize for shooting him in the head. Sonny says next time he’ll aim for the heart. Alcazar wants to know why he’s there. Sonny wants to know what’s got Alcazar so spooked that he’d risk trying to kill Sonny himself. Alcazar says it’s to avenge Diego’s murder but Sonny thinks it’s about the shipment that was intercepted. Alcazar gets pissed. Sonny says he might intercept more shipments, just to see what’s happening. Alcazar threatens to bring a full scale war to the doorstep. Sonny points out Alcazar’s desperation. He says Alcazr’s in a dilemma. Sonny will take over all of Alcazar’s local assets and make sure that Alcazar has enough money to relocated to another town. Alcazar says that the shipment coming in is bigger than both of them and worth more than both their businesses combined. He says that if the shipment goes through as planned, nothing happens. If Sonny interferes, he’ll be killed.

Room In A Building Across From Not Starbucks
CJC hires some sniper to kill Sonny. Sniper sets up shop and waits.

PCPD – Squad Room
Lucky thanks Cruz for getting the reservation. Cruz says he and maitre d’ used to cruise for girls in high school. Did Cruz grow up in PC? This town is giving me a headache. It’s small but big. I mean, the town I went to high school in had 5 city high schools so I’ve got to imagine that PC is bigger than that town, but it seems like a small enough town that if Cruz went to PCU, he’d have met some people. Unless he went to college someplace else. Unlike Lucky, who never went to college (so how he’s a detective is beyond me, unless PC has some very relaxed standards for cops becoming detectives). Lucky thanks Cruz for being a good friend and hops that this night gives Lucky and Elizabeth another chance.

PCPD – Squad Room
Ric gets photos of Alexis smoking pot from photographer.

PCPD – Interrogation Room #1
Lucky can’t believe they finished questioning Jenkins (the drug dealer) already. Cruz says guy’s claiming entrapment. Cruz leaves to update Mac. Lucky closes the door and pulls out the bottle of pills. He almost takes 2 but stops himself.

GH – 6th Floor
Elizabeth asks Bobbie if she’s seen Audrey. Bobbie says Audrey went to pick up Cam from daycare. Bobbie likes that Lucky and Elizabeth are having dinner. Elizabeth is very clear that it’s not a reconciliation.

Not Starbucks – Office
Jason wants to know if Ric dropped the charges. Sonny says not but something Ric said got him thinking so he went to see Alcazar. Jason’s all “alone? Dude! Never do that again!” Sonny fills Jason in on what Alcazar told him about the shipment.

GH – ICU
CJC comes back to visit Alcazar and expresses his concern about where the shipment will be held. Alcazar says he’s got somewhere safe.

Metro Court – Front Desk
Davis explains the vault Jax had put in to Sam.

PCPD – Squad Room
Ric’s on the phone with a Judge talking about moving the custody hearing up because of new evidence.

Lakehouse
Alexis is finished putting the game together when the girls come home. Alexis sends the girls upstairs to get cleaned up. The cops come to the door with a search warrant. They find the joints and arrest Alexis.

Not Starbucks – Office
Jason says they won’t let Alcazar intimidate them. They decide to go take a drive along the waterfront. Outside, Diane stops them to take about the custody and Alcazar cases. Sniper gets them all in his sights.
