Recaplet for Tuesday, December 26, 2006:
Sonny and Jason confront the Priest Who Looks Like Manny But Really Is His Identical Twin Brother Mateo.
Nikolas panics when Spencer ends up missing.
Elizabeth, waiting around Kelly’s to ask Lucky to spend Christmas with her and Cam, insteads sees Maxie and Lucky walk in hand in hand.

Elm Street Pier
Elizabeth and Jason are looking for her bracelet. When he finds it, she tells him that’s 2 Christmas miracles she owes him.

GH – 4th Floor
Maxie’s in the dark, looking at the tree. Lucky sees her. She’s “sad” still. Lucky offers her a ride home. She accepts but wonders if they can make a stop first. Maxie wants to “face her demons” at the stairs at Kelly’s.

Queen of Angels
Sonny goes looking for Morgan. He finds him and deposits him in the car. Carly notices that something’s up with Sonny but he says that he just doesn’t like it when the Boys run off like that. They get in the car and drive away.

Nikolas panics when he can’t find Spencer. He turns around to see Emily with the Pram and Mike. He walks over to Emily and tells her that she scared him half to death by getting Spencer before he did. Emily doesn’t have him. That sends Nikolas back into panic mode. The 3 of them start looking and Nikolas asks everyone in the crowd if they’ve seen his son.

Kelly’s Diner
Jason helps Elizabeth bring in Chuggin’ Charlie. Jason asks her if she needs anything else. She just wants Lucky to spend Christmas with Cam but she’s not sure if she wants to confuse Cam that way. Jason points out that Christmas is only one day and that most kids don’t have their parents at all so why not let Cam have both of his on that one day?

Queen of Angels
Father Coates makes a general announcement to the crowd that they’re looking for Spencer. Nikolas is on the phone with the police. Helena pops up and says that Colleen McHenry took Spencer. Nikolas takes one look at his Grandmother and is immediately in her face, demanding his son back.

Carly’s Cottage
Michael’s on a high from the pageant. He compliments Morgan’s performance. He says Jax will be sad that he missed the pageant and mad at Jerry for making him miss it. Sonny gives Carly a questioning look. She sends the Boys upstairs to change into their pj’s. She tells Sonny that Jax did leave but that he’s coming back and they will be married. Sonny’s not really listening to her and says he has to leave. She thinks he’s going to do something to sabotage her and Jax and tells him it won’t work. Sonny, still not listening to her, tells her he’ll be back to hang the stockings with the Boys.

Jason’s Penthouse
Jason’s decorating the tree when he gets a call from Sonny, telling him to meet at Queen of Angels. They’ve got a situation.

Kelly’s Diner
Sam, Alexis and Kristina come in to Kelly’s and say hi to Elizabeth. They’re there for ice cream. They’ve been invited to Wyndemere for Christmas.

Queen of Angels
Nikolas is all up in Helena’s grill, demanding that she call her people and bring his son back now. Helena says it was Colleen. Nikolas tells her not to blame Colleen. They argue some more until Mac comes over. Nikolas wants Helena arrested. Emily says they should also be looking for Colleen. Nikolas nixes that idea. He’s convinced Helena has Spencer. Mac tells Nikolas to calm down. He asks Cruz to get him a list of all the people at the pageant. Nikolas is ranting about Helena. Mac asks her questions. She swears she doesn’t have Spencer. She says that Colleen was the one who had her held captive in the North Tower. Emily thinks that’s crazy until Nikolas admits that someone was being held there.

Kelly’s Diner
Sam, Alexis and Kristina all eat ice cream. Sam notes that Alexis has her appetite back. Alexis credits Spinelli’s “gift.” After eating, they leave. Sam says she’ll see Kristina tomorrow. Sam passes Lucky and Maxie. Maxie asks Lucky to hold her hand for support. They walk into Kelly’s and right into Elizabeth’s line of sight.

Queen of Angels – Some Other Area That’s Not Where The Pageant Was
Sonny confronts The Priest Who Looks Like Manny. TPWLLM says Sonny’s confusing him with his brother. TPWLLM says his name is Father Mateo Ruiz. Jason comes up behind “Father Ruiz” holding a gun to his side. Father Coates stops them.

Airplane
Colleen’s holding Spencer and talking her psycho “I’ll love you more than Nikolas ever could” talk.

Jason’s Penthouse
Sam’s home. There’s no Jason. The Christmas tree is on the pool table all decorated except for the star.

Kelly’s Diner
Lucky sees that Elizabeth found the toy for Cam. They all stand there for a second. Awkward. Elizabeth is sorry for Maxie’s loss. She leaves. Maxie tells Lucky to go after Elizabeth if he wants. He says he promised her he’d help her with the stairs thing so he won’t leave her. Maxie looks pleased.

Queen of Angels – Some Other Area That’s Not Where The Pageant Was
Father Coates swears this isn’t Manny. Father Ruiz says that Manny is dead and so is the other brother Javier and the dad. Sonny’s suspicious. How did they not know about Mateo? No one was told about him to keep him safe. I have issues with this statement, but I’ll explain why in tomorrow’s episode recap. Manny and Mateo belonged to the same gang but when they went to jail, Manny turned to evil and Mateo to God. Sonny wants to know why Mateo’s in Port Charles. Mateo wants to make up for the hurt Manny caused. Father Coates talks about Father Ruiz’s work with youth, blah blah blah. He has all of Father Ruiz’s paperwork.

Kelly’s Diner
Lucky comes downstairs with a hat for Maxie and a gift in his hands. He wonders who gave him the gift. She says it’s from her but that he shouldn’t open it now. He does. It’s a kid’s cowboy hat. She bought it for their baby in case it was a boy because Luke always called Lucky “cowboy.”

Queen of Angels
Mac gets the forensics from the North Tower investigation. Two sets of prints were found: Colleen’s and Helena’s. Mac wonders why Helena didn’t go to the police when she escaped. She says because Nikolas had her committed to a sanitarium in Arkansas. The way she says Arkansas is hysterical. Like it was a dirty word or something. Mac starts to have her arrested, but Nikolas stops him.

Queen of Angels – Some Other Area That’s Not Where The Pageant Was
Sonny apologizes but states that Manny did a lot of damage to a lot of his loved ones so they want to protect their families. Father Ruiz and Father Coates leave to attend to another matter. Jason is seriously not buying the “good twin” theory. Sonny’s not either but if Mateo really is Father Ruiz and not Manny pretending, can they kill him? Jason says that they might have to if Father Ruiz is there to avenge Manny. Sonny says Stan and Bernie need to dig up everything on Mateo Ruiz.

Audrey’s House
Elizabeth puts the Chuggin’ Charlie under the tree. Audrey is glad Elizabeth was able to find the toy. Elizabeth doesn’t mention Jason. Instead, she talks about Cam. Audrey mentions Lucky spending time with Cam and Elizabeth tells her about what happened at Kelly’s. Audrey is sympathetic. Elizabeth figures that maybe Lucky and Maxie need each other right now because of the loss of the baby.

Jason’s Penthouse
Jason comes in, on the phone with Stan. He wants Stan to check everything. Sam comes down the stairs in time to hear Jason say that they want to make sure it’s not Manny. Sam starts to freak out.

Carly’s Cottage
Sonny’s back. He and the Boys hang stockings while Carly takes pictures. Heh. She’s like me with the camera. And the look Sonny gives her is a lot like the one Nathan gives me all the time when I whip out my camera. After hanging the stockings by the chimney with care, Carly sits the boys down to read Twas the Night Before Christmas. Sonny says that after the story, he’ll tuck them in and then he’ll be back in the morning. Michael asks why Sonny can’t stay overnight.

Jason’s Penthouse
Jason calms her down and tells her what’s going on with Father Ruiz. He promises to protect her. He leads her over to the tree to put the star on top. He then “finds” a gift for her. She opens it. It’s a star necklace.

Carly’s Cottage
Story’s over so the Boys head to bed. Carly wants to know what’s up. He says it’s nothing. He kisses Carly on the head and goes upstairs to tuck the Boys in.

Queen of Angels
Father Coates introduces Father Ruiz to Cruz. Cruz, the good detective he is, isn’t happy to see him.

Nikolas believes that Colleen did take Spencer but that Helena’s paying for it.

Helena’s on the phone, leading her own investigation for Colleen.
