Recaplet for Wednesday, December 20, 2006:
Jax jinxes the wedding by seeing Carly in her wedding gown.
Elizabeth talks to her baby.
Maxie comes after Lucky to talk to him and falls down the stairs.

Kelly’s Diner
Lulu’s studying. Lucky comes in an asks for her help. He needs her to tell Elizabeth she can still trust him. Lulu says Elizabeth would be wary; Lucky spent all summer lying to her. Lucky’s hurt that his own sister doesn’t believe her. Lulu does believe him but he can’t fault Elizabeth’s reaction. He begs Lulu to talk to Elizabeth. She sighs and agrees.

GH – 7th Floor Nurses Station
Elizabeth says she needed that meeting. Patrick thought she had found a new meeting place. She said she had stopped but realized that she can’t trust Lucky. She owes it to her kids to stay away from Lucky. She leaves. Robin asks Patrick if he’s busy. He’s not, so she takes him on a “house call.”

Carly’s Cottage
Michael is raving about the breakfast. He’s never had steak and eggs for breakfast. At first, I was going to disagree with that statement because both Sonny and Carly seem like the kind of people who would’ve had that meal before. I mean, Sonny’s a man’s man and Carly’s from Florida. But then I realized steak and eggs aren’t something you’d give a kid for breakfast. Jax says it’s a good Australian breakfast. Michael wants steak and eggs every morning. Carly says he’ll have the highest cholesterol by the age of 15 if he eats it every morning. Jax says he and Jerry are healthy. Michael wants to know if this is what it’ll be like every day. Jax says yes. He thinks eating together as a family is important. Michael agrees.

Courthouse
Jason and Sam walk in together. Alexis isn’t feeling well but she threatens to wipe the floor with Ric. Ric’s all “whatever.” There’s a new judge. Alexis moves for dismissal of all the charges because all of Sam’s subsequent charges happened after the false charges were laid on. Ric objects. they argue. Alexis feels faint. Sam tells Alexis to stop. Ric looks genuinely worried.

Carly’s Cottage
Carly’s going over the seating chart. Jax wonders why she’s doing that if they have wedding planners. Carly asks if he really feels comfortable having a stranger decide who sits next to Tracy. He looks at the chart. Why are all his people on one side and hers on the other? Isn’t the point to let them mingle? Carly snorts “Yeah, if you want to start World War 3.” Bobbie comes in with Carly’s dress. Carly shrieks that Jax has to go. He’s not allowed to see the dress; it’s bad luck.

Apartment It’s YOOOGE! And I’m surprised it’s not a safehouse.
Robin lists the perks of the apartment. Patrick’s not so sure. Robin assures him that she’s not wanting to move in with him. While they’re discussing, Biff (the landlord) comes in and asks how they like it. Robin pipes up that they love it. Biff says he needs the standard: first, last, security and references. Robin assures Biff that Dr. Drake has excellent references. Biff’s demeanor changes and he says there’s been a mistake. The apartment’s not available after all.

GH – 7th Floor Nurses Station
Lulu comes to visit Elizabeth and asks her just not to give up on Lucky so quickly.

Kelly’s Diner
Maxie comes looking for Lucky. She and Mike talk about addiction and how it can destroy a family.

Courthouse
Sam asks the judge how she goes about getting a different lawyer. Jason says he’ll call his lawyer. Alexis asks the judge for a recess to find another lawyer for Sam. Judge asks if Ric has any objections. Ric will drop all charges. He can’t prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that it wasn’t self-defense and given the health concerns of Sam’s mother and attorney, the State doesn’t want to go through a lengthy trial. Charges are dropped. Sam’s free.

Carly’s Cottage
Carly’s in her dress. It’s pretty but not that gorgeous. I dunno, I expected something more sophisticated from Carly. Bobbie’s crying, saying that of all Carly’s wedding dresses, this one is the prettiest. HA!! I’m sure the writer’s didn’t mean for that to be funny, but it is. There’s a phone call, but when Carly answers it, it’s a hang up. Jax comes running in because he forgot his phone. He melts when he sees Carly in her dress. She’s upset because now he’s ruined everything by seeing the dress. Michael hears the commotion and comes downstairs. Carly is superstitious. Jax isn’t. Carly makes him go. She tells Bobbie the dress is going back. She’d rather get married in sweats than wear that jinxed dress down the aisle.

Jason’s Penthouse
Spinelli’s talking to Bernie about some hacking he did into Jason’s accounts. Bernie is less than pleased. There’s a knock on the door. It’s Lulu. She’d like The Jackal to get back on track.

GH – 7th Floor Nurses Station
Lucky comes to see Elizabeth. She wishes he wouldn’t put his sister in the middle. He says he was framed and he’s pretty sure he knows who did it. Maxie was at his desk. The more he explains, the less she believes him. He says he’ll never give up on her or their child.

Jason’s Penthouse
Jason comes back home to find Lulu and Spinelli working on the Rick Webber case. Jason got a call from Bernie and warns Spinelli not to do it again. Jason tells Lulu that Spinelli needs to fix some stuff so she has to go. Lulu leaves.

Lake House
Sam brings Alexis back home. She thanks her for defending her. Alexis didn’t want Sam to go to prison, but she can’t forget what happened. Sam decides what would be best for Alexis would be for her to go. Before she leaves, she tells Alexis “You can’t do this alone. You need to find someone who wants to help you.” Sam leaves. Alexis curls up on the couch.

Kelly’s Diner
Mike brings Maxie a sandwich. She wants some spicy mustard and he’s suspicious. Most pregnant women don’t like spicy things. Maxie says she and her baby are in perfect sync. Lucky comes up to her and starts accusing her of planing the pills at his desk. She denies it. He says he’s through with her. All dealings with her and the baby will now be done through a lawyer. He goes up to his room. Maxie follows.

Apartment
Biff doesn’t want to lease the apartment because Patrick exposes himself to AIDS/HIV everyday. Robin can’t believe the bigotry and wants to leave. Patrick threatens Biff with a lawsuit. Biff relents, tells Patrick to have a cashier’s check tomorrow, and leaves. Robin and Patrick commence with the christening of the apartment. eww

Carly’s Cottage
Michael’s trying on his tux. He tells Carly that Jax must love her lots if he’s willing to wear all this. Carl asks Michael how he feels about that. Michael says he’ll always love Sonny more, but Jax is ok.

Jason’s Penthouse
Sam’s back. She and Jason start to kiss and celebrate them both being free. Sam stops for a minute and asks “Do you smell that?” Jason pauses, sniffs, and bounds up the stairs, yelling “Spinelli! You’re a dead man!”

Carly’s Cottage
Bobbie’s taking the dress back. As she’s leaving, he runs into Jax and tells him to tread lightly. Jax walks in to the boys running around and making a lot of noise. Carly admits she had a moment but she’s ok now. The phone rings. She picks it up. It’s a collect call from Jerry.

Lake House
Alexis calls Dr. Trent. She’s miserable and the anti-nausea pills aren’t working. He tells her that she has to ride it out.

Jason’s Penthouse
Jason drags Spinelli downstairs and searches him. He finds a bag of marijuana on him. Jason doesn’t allow drugs in his house. Spinelli finds that hard to believe since most Mobsters run drugs. Jason’s going to get rid of the weed but Sam stops him. She needs it.

Church
Ric’s in confession. Again, we see the tattooed hand.

Art Studio
Elizabeth’s talking to her baby about Lucky and Jason.

Kelly’s Diner
Maxie chases after Lucky. She’s grabbed his arm. Lucky tells her she’s just as toxic as the drugs. He pulls away and she takes a tumble down the stairs.
