Recaplet for Monday, December 18, 2006:
Elizabeth and Ric find the drugs that were planted in Lucky’s desk drawer.
Carly doesn’t like that Jax is setting boundaries.
Monica overhears Dillon and Lulu talking about finding out the truth about who killed Rick Webber.

Scorpio Attic
Dillon tells Georgie it’s not what it looks like. Georgie says it is. It’s a way for Dillon to be epoxied to Lulu.

Kelly’s Diner
Maxie says Elizabeth should weigh in on the matter. Neither of them is with Lucky and Lucky wants one kid to be given up for adoption, so why shouldn’t Elizabeth give up hers?

Carly’s Cottage
Carly can’t believe Jax gave her an ultimatum after all his claims of love and trust. He says “right.” She says “cancel.”

Jason’s Penthouse
Sam didn’t mean to scare him. Jason says he’s not scared, he just isn’t sure he should be anyone’s dad right now.

Scorpio Attic
Lulu says Dillon’s helping her with a project. Georgie gets it. She would’ve liked someone to ask her permission to use her family’s house. Georgie goes off on a rant about how Lulu’s using this “project” to reel Dillon in, that Lulu’s gotten craftier and more subtle in her old age. Dillon protests but Lulu says Georgie’s not wrong to be suspicious but this time it’s not what Georgie thinks. Georgie wonders why Dillon is the only one who can help her. Enter Spinelli.

The Lake House
Alexis says they’ve gotten off topic. Ric says bringing up the one night stand will result in a mistrial and it will humiliate Alexis. Alexis says that bridge has already been crossed. he knows she regrets marrying him and having Molly so he’ll make her a deal: he’ll drop the charges against Sam if he gets full custody of Molly.

Kelly’s Diner
Elizabeth’s not sure what she walked in on but there’s no way she’s giving up her baby. Maxie’s all “see?” Lucky (rightly) points out all the reasons why she’s not ready for a baby: she’s not good with kids, she doesn’t have a job, she’s dependent on Mac, and the only interest she’s shown in the baby is to use it to get him back. Maxie calls him arrogant to deflect from the fact that he’s completely right. He says her giving up the baby is its only change at a good life. Elizabeth doesn’t agree.

Jason’s Penthouse
Sam thought Jason wanted to be a dad. He does but how can they have a baby during everything that she’s going to be going through? It’s not fair to bring a baby into this world during that time.

Carly’s Cottage
Carly doesn’t like boundaries and jax isn’t allowed to tell her what’s permissible for her. Jax says he does if she’s being unrealistic. She says she’s going to the island and if he cancels the wedding, then he never really wanted to marry her in the first place.

Scorpio Attic
Spinelli says he’s got what they need for a crime scene reenactment and hold up a tape measurer. Dillon hates to agree with His Righteousness (The running joke through this whole episode is that Spinelli gets called all kinds of variations on his name and the way he names others.) but Spinelli’s right. He starts going on and on about film noir in a way that amuses Georgie and impresses Lulu. Spinelli interrupts but realizes that Georgie’s a 3rd wheel in the reenactment, which doesn’t please her. He tells her she can hold the tape measurer but she says she’s busy. He asks with what. Lulu says Dillon and Georgie have some personal problems. Spinelli assumes she’s the little sister until they set him straight. Dillon: “She’s not my sister, your holiness.” Spinelli’s all “Oh! She’s your chick!” That leads Spinelli to wonder what Lulu is to Dillon then, which leads to Lulu tabling the reenactment. She’s gotta find some place for Spinelli to crash and Georgie and Dillon need to talk. She leaves, taking Spinelli with her. Dillon laughs that Spinelli operates on another level. Georgie says that Spinelli can’t be too far gone if even he can see that Lulu still has a thing for Dillon. Dillon’s the only one with blinders on.

Carly’s Cottage
Jax won’t sign on to a marriage that takes 2nd place to her dysfunctional relationship. Carly says he knew Sonny was part of the package. Jax says part but not revolving around him. Carly thinks that’s a bit of an overstatement. Jax says that Sonny wants to be the focus of her life but jax just wants her to be the focus of her own life. If that’s with Sonny, then fine. She can go to the island. If it’s with him, then Sonny needs to learn to live without her, starting now. Carly gets a little pouty face because she realizes he’s right. They kiss as his phone rings. He has to take the call. That makes Carly mad.

The Lake House
Alexis says that Ric is deranged and Molly needs to be protected against him. Ric accuses Alexis of favoring Kristina over Molly because Kristina is Sonny’s daughter. They argue over how deluded Ric is when they notice that Kristina’s watching.

Jason’s Penthouse
Jason says he’d love to have a baby with Sam but the timing’s lousy. Sam gets a call from Alexis. Kristina’s not doing so well and Alexis thinks a visit from her sister would do wonders. Sam says she’ll be right there.

Kelly’s Diner
Elizabeth says that adoption isn’t an easy or light decision. Lucky starts to talk about Maxie but Elizabeth isn’t talking about Maxie. She means Lucky. It’d be hard on him, knowing that he’s got a kid out there somewhere. Maxie snots that it’s a red letter day when Elizabeth agrees with her and she leaves. Lucky hopes that Elizabeth doesn’t think he’s trying to dump a baby. She says no but that he might change his mind when he holds his baby for the first time. He says he’ll have that with her and their baby.

Scorpio Attic
Dillon says he can be friends with Lulu but Georgie’s the one he loves. Georgie wants to believe him but things aren’t that easy. She doesn’t feel like fighting for him anymore. he says he’s not giving up on them and he won’t let her give up on them either.

Q Mansion – Den (all this time I’ve been calling it the sitting room)
Lulu brings Spinelli home to crash at the mansion. Tracy says Lulu can’t fill up the guest rooms with her friends. Monica reminds Tracy that she doesn’t get to make that decision. Alice says that any friend of Lulu’s is a friend of theirs. Spinelli thinks Alice looks familiar and asks her if he knows her. She’s all “I don’t know. Do you?” While the Qs argue about Lulu’s lack of proper parenting, Spinelli sees a picture of Jason. He says the Qs owe him for saving Jason’s hide. The Qs want to know what he’s on about. Lulu’s all “I can explain.”

The Lake House
Sam visits Kristina.

Kelly’s Diner
Lucky’s lamenting to Mike that he feels like a hypocrite. After all the years of dogging Luke for his parenting skills, he’s not doing much better. Mike gives him some advice. Maxie comes back, wondering why Lucky called her. Lucky wants Maxie to change his mind and convince him she would be okay with a baby.

GH – 6th Floor Nurses Station
Jason comes to see Elizabeth. He wants to know if she would’ve wanted him to be part of the baby’s life if he had been the Baby Daddy.

Q Mansion – Den
Lulu brings the Qs up to speed. Tracy wonders how Lulu knows so much about the mob when she was on a ski trip. Spinelli’s about to spill but Lulu distracts him with a sandwich Alice is bringing. Spinelli realizes where he knows Alice from: she’s the Dominator! Edward can’t believe she’s still doing that. Tracy says they’ve gotten away form the point, which is the fact that Lulu seems to know a lot about Jason’s latest underworld adventure. Before Lulu has to answer, Dillon walks in, sees Spinelli eating a sandwich, and is all “oh hell no!”

The Lake House
Alexis thanks Sam for helping with Kristina. Sam asks what happened. Alexis tells her about the fighting with Ric. Sam’s supportive of Alexis. Alexis says that she was worried about Sam in the world of violence and it ended up affecting Kristina. Sam says she’d take it back, if she could. Alexis points out that violence isn’t neat or tidy and doesn’t plan who bears witness to it. Sam gets the point and leaves.

Kelly’s Diner
Carly sees Jax with a pretty girl. She gets mad and leaves.

Maxie knows she’s not perfect but with Lucky’s support, she can be a good mom. Lucky says he’ll be more involved with her and the baby but they’ll never be a couple because he loves Elizabeth. And with those words, he has now jinxed himself.

GH – 6th Floor Nurses Station
Jason says that he knows she said she wanted to raise the baby by herself, but he wanted to know her reasoning. She says that she didn’t want Jason to be tied to her since they didn’t set out to make the baby and she didn’t want him to be with her out of obligation. He wonders if his lifestyle was a consideration. She says no; that his baby would be a better person for having him as a dad. Jason thanks her and leaves. She gets a thoughtful look on her face and signs out for a “family emergency” and leaves.

Q Mansion – Den
Tracy wonders if Dillon will shed some light on what’s going on. Spinelli’s all goo-goo over Alice. She tells him to call her Alice. Lulu wants some time alone with her guest so Alice ushers everyone out. Edward isn’t happy about that but goes anyways. Dillon says it’s a bad idea to have Spumoni to stay there because he can’t keep his mouth shut and the Qs will learn that she’s trying to figure out who killed Rick Weber. Monica overhears the last part and looks alarmed.

Carly’s Cottage
Carly welcomes Jax home in time for dinner: still frozen pizza. He wonders what he’s done wrong. She says he lied to her.

Jason’s Penthouse
There’s a knock on the door and Jason answers. It’s Sam, she doesn’t have a key. I totally thought it was going to be Elizabeth Sam says she’s concerned about Kristina. She realizes that people should think before having a baby.

PCDP
Elizabeth asks to see Lucky. The Front Desk Cop tells her Lucky’s signed out. She asks if she can wait. He says yes. She’s standing next to Lucky’s desk when Ric sees her. She decides to leave Lucky a note instead. Ric opens the drawer and sees the pills. He hesitates and she asks what’s wrong.

Q Mansion – Den
Monica comes in and says she changed her mind; Spaghetti can’t stay there. Lulu and Spinelli leave. Dillon and Tracy wonder why Monica changed her mind.

Kelly’s Diner
Georgie comes running in, late. Mike tells her to take a breath before she starts her shift. She sits down with Maxie and they talk about Georgie and Dillon. Maxie tells Georgie not to give up. She didn’t with Lucky and he’s coming around.

PCDP
Ric tries to cover and says that paperwork gets lost on desks so she should just call Lucky and leave a message. She wants to see what’s in the drawer so she opens it and finds the pills. Lucky walks in at that moment.
