Room of Delusions and Druggies
Lulu can’t believe that Lucky’s buying into Maxie’s bullshit. Maxie says that she loves their baby and that she won’t abort it. Lucky says that he’ll take responsibility for the baby. Maxie thanks him for saying that and leaves, but she listens at the door as Lulu and Lucky discuss her. Lulu wonders if Maxie’s really pregnant and tells Lucky he should get a paternity test.

Later, Elizabeth visits him to try to tell him about the paternity test but she can’t do it. Lucky talks to the baby. Elizabeth leaves and cries.

Later, Lucky goes to visit Laura and talk to her. Oh, and by the way, at this point, there’s only 7 MORE DAYS until Laura’s return. And I’m not sure I would’ve gotten that had it not been for the reminder every commercial break.

The Compound
Nikolas wants to talk to Sonny regarding Alexis. Can Ric be trusted? Nikolas is suspicious of Ric’s behavior. He thinks there’s something more to Ric because of Sam. Sonny says it’s Sam’s call but Sonny does confirm that Ric is untrustworthy. Alexis knows how Sonny feels about Ric but now’s not the time to tell her anything. Nikolas says now is the perfect time. It would make her fight for her life. Nikolas leaves. Sonnys gets a call from Ric to meet him at Jason’s.

GH
Patrick’s planning on performing spinal surgery on an HIV patient. He wants Robin in there but she won’t do it. Noah says no way too. They all argue. Quite honestly, I find the Robin/Patrick storyline to be very boring. I get that they want to educate people about HIV/AIDS but it’s so heavy handed and it’s being shoved down our throats. Plus, I find their relationship to be a bit boring as well. So, I fast forward through their parts.

Lake House
Ric comes upon Jax and Alexis talking. Sam offers to go pick up Alexis’ new meds. Ric’s confused as to why she needs new meds. Carly snarks that if Ric had been here, he’d have been the one to call her doctor, not her. Alexis calms the situation down and sends Jax and Carly home. Ric wants to know if Alexis has eaten. When she says no, Sam offers to make her something. Ric asks Sam to look after Alexis. He’s got something to take care of really quickly.

Later, Sam and Alexis are discussing Jax and Carly’s engagement which leads to talk of their “shared” men. Alexis mentions that it’s almost incentuous how they’ve slept with the same men. You’d think that Alexis would understand the meaning of the word incest. Sam admits that she’s done some bad things in the past but that she wants more than anything to help Alexis get better. Nikolas comes over and wants to speak to Alexis alone. Sam leaves to get food and meds.

Nikolas wants to talk about Ric. They discuss her and Ric’s relationship. Nikolas is concerned that Ric’s not the right man to raise her kids. Alexis says that while Ric has disspointed her in many areas, he has always been a good father. She doesn’t want her girls raised apart from each other, like she was with her sister. The phone rings and Nikolas answers it. It’s the hospital. Ric’s been brought in.

The Penthouse
Jason wonders why Ric’s playing Elizabeth and Lucky. Elizabeth guesses it has something to do with Jason being the Maybe Daddy™. Jason walks Elizabeth down to the entrance of the building. They meet Ric in the garage. Elizabeth leaves. Ric then goads Jason into kicking the ever-lovin’ snot out of him. Sonny comes in time to stop Jason from killing him. Jason says that Ric will charge him with attempted murder so Sonny should just let him finish Ric. Sonny says it’s a set up and gets his henchman (Ritchie, according to closed captioning) to dump Ric at the hospital. Sonny then takes Jason to . . .

The Compound
Jason is pissed off beyond belief. He and Sonny argue about how stupid Jason was to fall into Ric’s trap. Sonny wants Jason to leave town so that he has time to clear things up. Jason’s not sure he can leave, what with the paternity test and all. Sonny doesn’t want to hear it. Ric is out to get Jason and Jason has to stay away or else. Jason finally agrees but threatens that if he is the Baby Daddy, he will do anything to protect Elizabeth and the baby from Ric.

The Cottage
Carly and Jax make plans to go visit Lady Jane (that’s Jax’s mum). Carly is nervous about announcing the engagement but Jax calms her fears and zzzzz…sorry. I find them to be a bit boring when they get all schmoopy.

Kelly’s Diner
Sam runs into Elizabeth. She says she hopes that Elizabeth means what she says when she says that she wants to raise the baby alone because Sam’s going to fight for Jason. Blech. I really dislike Sam. I dislike Kelly Monaco as well. I was all set for her to be out of the picture but then I read that she’s probably not leaving and I’m all “Damn!” Maybe I’d like Sam more if she wasn’t so whiny and petulant and so very “I need a man to make me complete.” Wasn’t there a time when she was a fiesty con-artist (much like Felicia)? Maybe I’d like the character more if she weren’t so co-dependent and not played by Kelly Monaco.
