Recap for Friday, September 22, 2006.

Docks
Jason and Sam agree to try to start over. Elizabeth calls Jason and tells him to tell Sam that Aleix has taken a turn for the worse.

GH
Robin and Patrick tell Nikolas and Sam that Alexis’ lung collapsed and that the surgery she needs is risky. They need Sam to sign the release form. She asks where Ric is. He’s in Washington DC. She can’t do it. Nikolas does it instead.

Mercy
The doctor is angry that no one told him of Maxie’s medical history and that Maxie’s not wearing a medical bracelet (man, I remember watching all those episodes back in the day when Maxie needed the heart and then BJ died and Maxie got her heart. It was very very sad.). He tells her she’s staying and leaves. Lucky wants to talk to Maxie alone. Diego leaves. When they’re alone, she says that this proves they belong together.

Mob Lair
Jason comes in and asks Max where Sonny is. Max says he doesn’t know and tries to hide the car cables he took from Jax’s car. Jason wants to know what’s going on. Max proceeds to tell him and then goes into a long rant about how he loves Carly and doesn’t want to see her with Jax but if he breaks up her and Jax, that might mean she and Sonny will get back together and then he can’t work there anymore because he’s in love with Carly and it’ll drive him nuts to see her everyday with Sonny. Jason looks slightly amused at all this.

Metro Court
Carly is über pissed that Sonny is there. They argue and Sonny says Jax will break her heart. Jax shows up and says that heartbreak is Sonny’s area of expertise.

Mercy
Lucky blames himself for this all getting so out of hand. Maxie says this proves he loves her; doesn’t he care that she almost died for him? He tells her they’ll never be together. She can’t believe he’s dumping her. He tells her that he’ll never love her. He was using her for the pills. She realizes what an idiot she’s been and threatens that someday he’ll be sorry.

Metro Court
Carly throws Jax out but before he leaves, he tells her to trust her instincts. Jax wants to know what he said so she tells him. She realizes that she can make sure that Sonny doesn’t bother them at all tonight and she whips out her cell to make a call.

Mob Lair
Sonny comes home to find Max all liquored up and Jason pretty much laughing at the situation. Sonny: “Oh, he can have Scotch but I can’t?” Jason sends Max to his room (or wherever it is that Max lives). Jason points out that telling Carly what to do will ensure that she does the complete opposite. Sonny says that he knows Jason is afraid that he and Carly will get back together but it won’t happen. Elizabeth calls Jason to tell him that Alexis took a turn for the worse and that Sam needs him. And that is why I like Elizabeth. Yeah, she slept with Jason right after she admonished her husband for doing the same thing, but she knows what Sam and Jason mean to each other and she’s being selfless. There’s no way that Sam would do the same thing if it were her.

Mercy
Diego throws Lucky out of the room. Lucky tries to scam more pills off the doctor. Maxie cries that she thought Lucky really loved her. She thanks Diego for being nice to her even though she’s treated him like dirt. He leaves. She calls Mac.

GH
Nikolas thinks that Sam, Ric, and Sonny can all work out some custody plan but he agrees with Alexis that Jason can’t be part of her life. Now, quite honestly, I think that’s a bit unfair. Jason’s not any more of a danger to the girls than Sonny is. Sam leaves to go think.

GH
Emily sees Nikolas in the waiting area and they discuss Alexis. There’s also some talk about not knowing who you truly love until they’re almost gone.

GH
Jason arrives and ask Elizabeth where Sam is. When Elizabeth’s not sure, Jason goes looking for her.

Mob Lair
Lainey shows up for a session with Sonny; turns out Carly called her and wants Lainey to set some boundaries. Leticia and the boys show up. A pipe busted in the No Sex Palace and they can’t get a hold of Carly. Sonny asks Max if he did anything. Max says no. Sonny sends Max to go tell Carly. Meanwhile, Lainey talks to Michael and Morgan about Sonny and Carly and realizes that they believe that Sonny will do whatever it takes to keep Carly away from Jax. Michael and Morgan want to know if they’ll all live with Sonny if the No Sex Palace is flooded.

Metro Court
Jax and Carly are all kissy and on the bed, rolling around when Max comes aknockin’. Carly doesn’t believe him about the burst pipe. Cut to a shot of the No Sex Palace and water leaking out of the front door. Here’s a thought: once they figured out it wasn’t a lie, why wouldn’t Sonny just find an emergency plumber to fix it? He obviously has keys to her house.

GH
Lucky comes to see Liz. She tells him to leave her alone. He says that the doctor at Mercy gave him a prescription because he really does need the pills; he’s not truly an addict. Elizabeth pretty much “Whatever”’s him and tells him to leave.

GH, roof.
Jason finds Sam. They talk about the custody agreement, how their break up might be for the best, blah blah blah.
