Ok. I had to use that line because today is Talk Like A Pirate Day.
I’ll have the recap up later but here’s a recaplet to tide you over:
Georgie is the lone voice of reason against Dillon’s and Lulu’s rantings.
Luke’s leaving to see a doctor about making Laura better.
Colleen (the Googly Eyed Nanny) schemes to get closer to Nikolas.
Carly freaks out about her relationship with Jax.
The full recap for Tuesday, September 19, 2006 is below the cut.
Q mansion, Lulu’s room.
Lulu is dreaming. She hears a baby crying. In her room is an overturned crib and she starts frantically searching for the baby. She runs out into the hall and is in the hospital in Laura’s room. She’s begging her mom for help in finding the baby and she turns to see Laura but it’s Lulu who’s catatonic instead. She screams and then wakes up.
Laura’s hospital room.
Robin and Patrick debate Laura’s condition. Luke wants to know if Patrick is always so sure of himself. She says yes and that while surgery isn’t an option for Laura, drug therapy is. Patrick doesn’t believe the drug therapy will work.
Windemere.
Nikolas is on the phone with Elizabeth discussing Alexis’ condition. Colleen devises a plane to get closer to Nikolas.
Hospital.
Carly and Jax are at the hospital because Jax was visiting Alexis. He wants to stay but Carly tells him Alexis would want him to get some fresh air, even if it was with her.
Laura’s room.
Robin refutes Patrick’s warnings, which are that the drugs might make her condition worse. Luke wants to meet with the doctor first. Robin gives him the doctor’s card.
Q mansion, Lulu’s room.
Lulu looks at a picture of Laura and, seeing similarities, decides to cut her hair. Before she can do it though, Dillon comes knocking and asking if she wants a ride to PCU for orientation. When she says she’s not going, he asks if she means now or ever. She tells him to go ahead and yell at her for choosing to stay inside and not go out and do everything she said she wanted to do but couldn’t if she had a baby. He gets really quiet and says that she said that stuff, not him.
Windemere.
Colleen makes up a story about a boyfriend at college who became and alcoholic. She and his family staged an intervention. That makes Nikolas think. Emily comes in and Nikolas is glad she’s there as she’s the only one who can help him with Lucky. Colleen looks very put out.
Hospital.
Jax agrees to go out on this surprise trip Carly has planned.
Q Mansion, sititng room.
Luke tells Tracy he’s leaving for Europe again (but not the reason why).
Q’s, Lulu’s room.
Dillon and Lulu argue some more about how her life sucks, yadda yadda yadda. You know, I applaud GH for having the balls to go through with the abortion but now they’re making it seem as if anyone who does it is going to go off the deep end with regret. Yes, I’m sure there is some regret but making Lulu freak out about it is annoying.
Docks.
Carly brings Jax to the docks, where Michael and Morgan are waiting to go out on the boat. Jax thinks the conditions aren’t right but Carly puts the kibosh on that by listing the weather and water conditions. She lets him know that they’ll be back in time for Alexis’ test results.
Windemere.
Nikolas tells Emily that he reserved a spot for Lucky at Bluffside Recovery. Emily says that Lucky can’t be forced to go. Nikolas wants to stage an intervention but Emily recounts her own family’s history with dealing with a drug addict (Alan) and says that Lucky has to bottom out. Nikolas says Lucky already has and they argue a bit more. Nikolas gets frustrated that Emily won’t back him on this and walks out. Emily follows him. Colleen comes into the room, pissed off at Emily, and when Emily’s pager goes off, Colleen turns off the pager.
Q’s, Boathouse.
Georgie finds Dillon at the boathouse. He’s all agitated over his fight with Lulu.
Q’s, sitting room.
Tracy’s still pissed at Luke. Lulu comes in and wants to know where Luke’s going.
Docks.
Boating is done. Michael had fun. He wants to know when they can go again. Jax promises that every time they go out, Michael can help sail and a few years down the line when he’s mastered it, they’ll go sailing to the Caribbean and follow the route of the pirates. Carly freaks out on hearing this and scoots the kids home but does thank Jax for a nice time. Jax looks confused.
Q’s, sitting room.
Luke won’t blame Lulu if she hates him for leaving. She says he doesn’t need her permission and she doesn’t hate him.
Q’s, boathouse.
Dillon cries on Georgie’s shoulder for the lost baby. He thought the whole reason for Lulu aborting was so that she could get on with her life. Georgie wonders if Dillion was hoping that Lulu would be fine so he could be angry with Lulu; she made a choice he couldn’t.
Windemere.
Emily and Nikolas talk a bit out Lulu and Dillon. This leads to a talk about how they could use Luke as a cautionary tale for Lucky. Nikolas calls over to the Qs to talk to Luke only to hear that he’s leaving. The phone rings and it’s Monica, pissed as hell that Emily didn’t answer her page. In the hallway, Colleen gloats.
Q’s, boathouse.
Georgie knows that Dillon and Lulu both need some time. He realizes that today was Georgie’s first day on campus and wants to hear all about it.
Q’s, sitting room.
Luke’s proud of Lulu. He’s not leaving because he can’t face what’s happened but because he’s got an errand to run that has a deadline. They hug.
Carly’s house.
Jax comes over, wanting to know what spooked her. She can’t risk the hearts of her boys because when things don’t work out between her and Jax, her kids will be devastated.
Windemere.
Emily says that she never turns off her pager but she’s got a pretty good idea of who turned it off for her. Nikolas walks her to the launch.
Q’s, boathouse.
Georgie’s filling Dillon in on her first day at PCU when Lulu walks in and is, like, all “Life’s a bitch. Nothing really matters. Look at me. I’m the girl who had the abortion.”
Oh, and by the way, since when is Lulu the same age and/or older than Georgie? I mean, I know they aged Lulu but Georgie was clearly older than Lulu in the past so why make Lulu older than Georgie now?
Laura’s room.
Luke talks to Laura about the doctor in Paris he’s going to see that can maybe help her. He talks about how his memories of her are fading and he wants to get her out of her prison. I’ve got to talk to my friend who knows all the backstory because I’m not sure what happened to Laura’s mom and why did Laura kill her own dad?
