And now onto the recap for Monday, September 18, 2006.

I’m gonna do today’s recap scene by scene rather than by storyline.
First, we start off with the montage that ended Friday’s show.
Then it goes to . . .

Clinic.
Lulu’s calling a cab when Georgie shows up, offering her a ride home.

Hospital.
Luke’s leaving Laura’s hospital room and runs into Robin. She’s looking for him; she’s got a proposition for him.

Elizabeth & Lucky’s apartment.
Nikolas is there and helps Elizabeth to her feet. He grabs her bags and tells her he’ll take her to the hospital. Lucky wants to know if they really believe he pushed Elizabeth. She tells him that it doesn’t matter if it was an accident or not, it happened because he’s still on drugs and his habit is ruining their lives. Lucky wants 10 minutes to talk to her. She’s given him months, she says, and now she’s going to give her time to her son. Lucky doesn’t know if he can kick the drugs without her but she tells him to figure it out because she’s done. She and Nikolas leave. And the look Nikolas gives Lucky could cut a tin can like butter!

Alexis’ house.
Sonny talks to Kristina about Alexis, how’s she’s “asleep” and getting medication which will make her feel better soon. He asks if Kristina wants to stay in her own bed or come home with him. She doesn’t want to go if Molly can’t go so Sonny lets her stay. Sam takes her back to bed. Sonny tells Ric to get out because he doesn’t want Ric alone with his kid or Sam.

Q Mansion (so that’s what the front door to the Q’s place looks like).
Georgie offers to let Lulu crash at her place, but Lulu says she’d rather get the firing squad over with. Georgie goes in with her for moral support. The Q’s are actually quite friendly and supportive of her. Georgie asks if she should call her family. Lulu says she really only wants the one person who can’t help her.

Hospital.
Robin tells Luke that there’s been a bunch of breakthroughs in the world of medicine that could possibly help Laura. She wants to do some tests on Laura to see if she’s a good candidate for a radical new treatment.

Alexis’ house.
Ric refuses to let Sonny push him out of his own house. They argue and Sam says she’ll protect Kristina. Sonny doesn’t think so, what with the way she protected herself against Ric.

Lucky’s place.
He throws all his pills down the sink and leaves.

Hospial.
Elizabeth is fine. She had an ultrasound and the baby’s fine. Nikolas says she should tell Lucky about the baby. Elizabeth says no and then says she’s leaving Lucky right as Maxie comes out of the elevator so she overhears.

Q Mansion.
Tracey and Luke talk about Lulu and Laura and how he dreams about Laura yelling at him that she’s there and wants to get out.

Alexis’ house.
Sam suggests that maybe it would be a good idea for Ric to go to the hospital and be by Alexis’ bed. Ric gets upset that everyone’s treating him like he was a rapist and dares Sam to deny that she was a willing particpant in their tryst. She can’t but Sonny says not to drag her into this. They argue some more over the fact that Sonny once slept with her too and even got her pregnant (foreshadowing?). Sonny finally snaps and says that if Ric doesn’t leave, he’ll be forced to deal with him and he’ll make Alexis a widow before she dies. Ric leaves. Sam thinks Sonny made a mistake.

Q mansion.
Tracey and Luke discuss raising kids. Luke appreciates her being so great in all this and she says that it’s because she’s his wife.

Audrey’s.
Elizabeth goes to Grams’ place (I totally forgot that Audrey was her Grams) and cries on her shoulder. She tells Audrey about Lucky’s dependency on the pills. Lucky shows up and wants to see Elizabeth but Audrey tells him to come back tomorrow. He shouts through the door that he won’t leave. He begs Elizabeth to talk to him.

Lulu’s room.
Luke and Lulu discuss the Q’s seemingly turnaround behavior. Luke: “Enjoy their temporary lapse of character; it won’t last.”

Audrey’s.
Elizabeth tells Lucky that she’s tired and she can’t talk to him tonight. She says they made voiws and he wants her to live up to her promise. She says their marriage is over. She loves him but can’t be with him anymore.

Alexis’ house.
Sam says that Ric’s whole belief system is that, deep down, he hopes that Sonny will care for him because they’re blood, but that Sonny just completely blew that theory out of the water so there’s nothing left for Ric now. Sonny hopes for all their sakes that Alexis doesn’t die.

Hospital.
Ric asks Monica about Alexis’ condition. She can’t really give an answer and leaves. Alcazar shows up, having been called by Ric, and Ric says that he wants to move against Sonny now.

Lucky’s apartment.
He goes back and finds Maxie there. She says she overheard Elizabeth at the hospital. She says that now they can be friends out in the open since he’s not with Elizabeth anymore. He reaches out to touch her and talk about what a crappy day he’s had and then boom! – my cable went out! When it cuts back on, Elizabeth is leaving a message for a lawyer regarding setting up a payment plan to file for divorce.

Alexis’ house.
Sam checks on Kristina. Sonny wants to know if she could really cut Jason out of her life for good.

Hospital.
Ric and Alcazar discuss moving against Jason and Sonny. Basically, if they get rid of Jason now while he’s in South America, it will leave Sonny vulnerable.

Lulu’s room.
Lulu asks if Luke saw Laura. She wishes Laura could be there with her and cries that it would be better if Laura were dead; it would make things easier. She doesn’t want to be comforted by Luke so he leaves. Out in the hall, he calls Robin and says he wants to hear her plans.
